유대인 율법학자들이(소페림) "야훼"를 "아도나이"로 바꾼 134개 구절(THE 134 PASSAGES WHERE THE SOPHERIM ALTERED "JEHOVAH" TO "ADONAI")
입에 올리기에도 황송한 이름인 "야훼"에 대한 극단적인 (그러나 잘못된) 경외심 때문에, 고대 유대인 율법학자들은 신성한 본문의 "야훼"를 "아도나이"로 대체 했습니다.
A.V.와 R.V.에서는 모두 "주님"으로 인쇄되어 있습니다.
저희는 이 모든 곳에 "주 / LORD"라는 단어를 인쇄하였고, 여백에 있는 주석 외에도 별표를 붙여서 그 사실을 독자에게 알렸습니다.
