1  Children,⁵⁰⁴³ obey⁵²¹⁹ your⁵²¹⁶ parents¹¹¹⁸ in¹⁷²² the Lord:²⁹⁶² for¹⁰⁶³ this⁵¹²⁴ is²⁰⁷⁶ right.¹³⁴²

1  자녀들아 너희 부모를 주G2962 안에서 순종하라 이것이 옳으니라

1  Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

1    자녀들아, 주(야훼) 안에서 너희 부모에게 순종하라. 이것이 옳으니라.

2  Honor⁵⁰⁹¹ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ father³⁹⁶² and²⁵³² mother;³³⁸⁴ which³⁷⁴⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the first⁴⁴¹³ commandment¹⁷⁸⁵ with¹⁷²² promise;¹⁸⁶⁰

2  네 아버지와 어머니를 공경하라 이것이 약속 있는 첫계명이니

2  Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise),

2  네 아버지와 어머니를 공경하라. (이것이 약속 있는 첫째 계명이니)

3  That²⁴⁴³ it may be¹⁰⁹⁶ well²⁰⁹⁵ with thee,⁴⁶⁷¹ and²⁵³² thou mayest⁽²⁰⁷¹⁾ live long³¹¹⁸ on¹⁹⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ earth.¹⁰⁹³

3  이는 네가 잘 되고 땅에서 장수하리라

3  so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.

3  이는 네가 잘 되고 또 땅에서 장수하게 하려 함이니라.

4  And,²⁵³² ye fathers,³⁹⁶² provoke not your children to wrath:^{3949, 3361, 5216, 5043} but²³⁵ bring them up^{1625, 846} in¹⁷²² the nurture³⁸⁰⁹ and²⁵³² admonition³⁵⁵⁹ of the Lord.²⁹⁶²

4  또 아비들아 너희 자녀를 노엽게 하지 말고 오직 주의G2962 교양과 훈계로 양육하라

4  And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

4  너희 아비들아, 너희 자녀들을 성나게 하지 말고 주(야훼)의 교훈과 훈계로 양육하라.

5  Servants,¹⁴⁰¹ be obedient⁵²¹⁹ to them that are your masters²⁹⁶² according²⁵⁹⁶ to the flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ with³³²⁶ fear⁵⁴⁰¹ and²⁵³² trembling,⁵¹⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² singleness⁵⁷² of your⁵²¹⁶ heart,²⁵⁸⁸ as⁵⁶¹³ unto Christ;⁵⁵⁴⁷

5  종들아 두려워하고 떨며 성실한 마음으로 육체의 상전에게 순종하기를 그리스도께G5547 하듯 하여

5  Slaves, obey your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ;

5    종들아, 육신에 따른 주인들에게 두려움과 떨림으로 복종하되 순전한 마음으로 그리스도(마쉬악H4899)께 하듯 하고

6  Not³³⁶¹ with²⁵⁹⁶ eyeservice,³⁷⁸⁷ as⁵⁶¹³ menpleasers;⁴⁴¹ but²³⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ the servants¹⁴⁰¹ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ doing⁴¹⁶⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ will²³⁰⁷ of God²³¹⁶ from¹⁵³⁷ the heart;⁵⁵⁹⁰

6  눈가림만 하여 사람을 기쁘게 하는 자처럼 하지 말고 그리스도의G5547 종들처럼 마음으로 하나님의G2316 뜻을 행하여

6  not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

6    사람을 기쁘게 하는 자처럼 눈가림으로 하지 말고 그리스도(마쉬악)의 종으로서 마음으로부터 하나님(엘로힘)의 뜻을 행하며

7  With³³²⁶ good will²¹³³ doing service,¹³⁹⁸ as⁵⁶¹³ to the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord,²⁹⁶² and²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ to men:⁴⁴⁴

7  단 마음으로 섬기기를 주께G2962 하듯하고 사람들에게 하듯하지 말라

7  with good will doing service as to the Lord and not to men

7  선한 뜻으로 봉사하되 주(야훼)께 하듯 하고 사람에게 하듯 하지 말라.

8  Knowing¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ whatsoever^{3739, 5100, 1437} good thing¹⁸ any man¹⁵³⁸ doeth,⁴¹⁶⁰ the same⁵¹²⁴ shall he receive²⁸⁶⁵ of³⁸⁴⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord,²⁹⁶² whether¹⁵³⁵ he be bond¹⁴⁰¹ or¹⁵³⁵ free.¹⁶⁵⁸

8  이는 각사람이 무슨 선을 행하든지 종이나 자유하는 자나 주에게G2962 그대로 받을 줄을 앎이니라

8  (knowing that whatever good thing he does, he shall receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or a freeman).

8  이는 각 사람이 무슨 선을 행하든지 종이나 자유인을 불문하고 주(야훼)로부터 그대로 받을 줄을 앎이니라.

9  And,²⁵³² ye masters,²⁹⁶² do⁴¹⁶⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ same things⁸⁴⁶ unto⁴³¹⁴ them,⁸⁴⁶ forbearing⁴⁴⁷ threatening:⁵⁴⁷ knowing¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ your⁵²¹⁶ Master²⁹⁶² also²⁵³² is²⁰⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² heaven;³⁷⁷² neither^{2532, 3756} is²⁰⁷⁶ there respect of persons⁴³⁸² with³⁸⁴⁴ him.⁸⁴⁶

9  상전들아 너희도 저희에게 이와 같이 하고 공갈을 그치라 이는 저희와 너희의 상전이 하늘에 계시고 그에게는 외모로 사람을 취하는 일이 없는줄 너희가 앎이니라

9  And masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatening, knowing that your Master also is in Heaven. There is no respect of persons with Him.

9  또 주인들아, 너희도 그들에게 동일하게 행하고 위협을 그치라. 이는 너희의 주인도 하늘에 계시며 그 분은 사람을 외모로 판단하지 않으심을 너희가 알기 때문이라.

10  Finally,³⁰⁶³ my³⁴⁵⁰ brethren,⁸⁰ be strong¹⁷⁴³ in¹⁷²² the Lord,²⁹⁶² and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ power²⁹⁰⁴ of his⁸⁴⁶ might.²⁴⁷⁹

10  종말로 너희가 주G2962 안에서와 그 힘의 능력으로 강건하여지고

10  Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

10  끝으로 나의 형제들아, 주(야훼) 안에서와 그의 힘의 능력 안에서 강건하라.

11  Put on¹⁷⁴⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ whole armor³⁸³³ of God,²³¹⁶ that ye⁵²⁰⁹ may be able¹⁴¹⁰ to stand²⁴⁷⁶ against⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ wiles³¹⁸⁰ of the³⁵⁸⁸ devil.¹²²⁸

11  마귀의 궤계를 능히 대적하기 위하여 하나님의G2316 전신갑주를 입으라

11  Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

11    너희는 마귀의 술책에 대항하여 설 수 있도록 하나님(엘로힘)의 전신갑옷을 입으라.

12  For³⁷⁵⁴ we²²⁵⁴ wrestle^{2076, 3823} not³⁷⁵⁶ against⁴³¹⁴ flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ and²⁵³² blood,¹²⁹ but²³⁵ against⁴³¹⁴ principalities,⁷⁴⁶ against⁴³¹⁴ powers,¹⁸⁴⁹ against⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ rulers²⁸⁸⁸ of the³⁵⁸⁸ darkness⁴⁶⁵⁵ of this⁵¹²⁷ world,¹⁶⁵ against⁴³¹⁴ spiritual⁴¹⁵² wickedness⁴¹⁸⁹ in¹⁷²² high²⁰³² places.

12  우리의 씨름은 혈과 육에 대한 것이 아니요 정사와 권세와 이 어두움의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들에게 대함이라

12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

12   이는 우리의 싸움이 혈과 육에 대항하는 것이 아니라 정사들과 권세들과 이 세상 어두움의 주관자들과 높은 곳들에 있는 영적 악에 대항하는 것이기 때문이니라.

13  Wherefore^{1223, 5124} take unto³⁵³ you the³⁵⁸⁸ whole armor³⁸³³ of God,²³¹⁶ that²⁴⁴³ ye may be able¹⁴¹⁰ to withstand⁴³⁶ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ evil⁴¹⁹⁰ day,²²⁵⁰ and²⁵³² having done²⁷¹⁶ all,⁵³⁷ to stand.²⁴⁷⁶

13  그러므로 하나님의G2316 전신갑주를 취하라 이는 악한 날에 너희가 능히 대적하고 모든 일을 행한 후에 서기 위함이라

13  Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

13  그러므로 너희는 하나님(엘로힘)의 전신갑옷을 입으라. 이는 너희가 악한 날에 저항할 수 있으며 또 모든 일을 다 이루기까지 서 있게 하기 위함이니라.

14  Stand²⁴⁷⁶ therefore,³⁷⁶⁷ having your⁵²¹⁶ loins³⁷⁵¹ girt about⁴⁰²⁴ with¹⁷²² truth,²²⁵ and²⁵³² having on¹⁷⁴⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ breastplate²³⁸² of righteousness;¹³⁴³

14  그런즉 서서 진리로 너희 허리 띠를 띠고 의의 흉배를 붙이고

14  Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness

14  그러므로 서서 진리로 너희의 허리띠를 두르고 의의 흉배를 붙이고

15  And²⁵³² your feet⁴²²⁸ shod⁵²⁶⁵ with¹⁷²² the preparation²⁰⁹¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel²⁰⁹⁸ of peace;¹⁵¹⁵

15  평안의 복음의 예비한 것으로 신을 신고

15  and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

15  화평의 복음을 준비한 것으로 너희 발에 신고

16  Above¹⁹⁰⁹ all,³⁹⁵⁶ taking³⁵³ the³⁵⁸⁸ shield²³⁷⁵ of faith,⁴¹⁰² wherewith^{1722, 3739} ye shall be able¹⁴¹⁰ to quench⁴⁵⁷⁰ all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ fiery⁴⁴⁴⁸ darts⁹⁵⁶ of the³⁵⁸⁸ wicked.⁴¹⁹⁰

16  모든 것 위에 믿음의 방패를 가지고 이로써 능히 악한 자의 모든 화전을 소멸하고

16  Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

16    모든 것 위에 믿음의 방패를 가짐으로써 능히 너희가 악한 자의 모든 불붙은 화살을 끌 수 있을 것이라.

17  And²⁵³² take¹²⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ helmet⁴⁰³⁰ of salvation,⁴⁹⁹² and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ sword³¹⁶² of the³⁵⁸⁸ Spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ which is³⁶⁰³ the word⁴⁴⁸⁷ of God:²³¹⁶

17  구원의 투구와 성령의 검 곧 하나님의G2316 말씀을 가지라

17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,

17    또한 구원의 투구와 성령의 칼, 곧 하나님(야훼)의 말씀을 가지고

18  Praying⁴³³⁶ always^{1223, 3956, 2540} with¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ prayer⁴³³⁵ and²⁵³² supplication¹¹⁶² in¹⁷²² the Spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ and²⁵³² watching⁶⁹ thereunto^{1519, 846, 5124} with¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ perseverance⁴³⁴³ and²⁵³² supplication¹¹⁶² for⁴⁰¹² all³⁹⁵⁶ saints;⁴⁰

18  모든 기도와 간구로 하되 무시로 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 깨어 구하기를 항상 힘쓰며 여러 성도를 위하여 구하고

18  praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

18   모든 기도와 간구로 항상 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 모든 성도들을 위해 모든 인내와 간구로 깨어 있으라.

19  And²⁵³² for⁵²²⁸ me,¹⁷⁰⁰ that²⁴⁴³ utterance³⁰⁵⁶ may be given¹³²⁵ unto me,³⁴²⁷ that I⁽¹⁷²²⁾ may open⁴⁵⁷ my³⁴⁵⁰ mouth⁴⁷⁵⁰ boldly,^{1722, 3954} to make known¹¹⁰⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ mystery³⁴⁶⁶ of the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel,²⁰⁹⁸

19  또 나를 위하여 구할 것은 내게 말씀을 주사 나로 입을 벌려 복음의 비밀을 담대히 알리게 하옵소서 할 것이니

19  And pray for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

19  그리고 나를 위하여서는 내게 말씀을 주시어 내 입을 열어 담대하게 복음의 신비를 알리게 하도록 기도하라.

20  For⁵²²⁸ which³⁷³⁹ I am an ambassador⁴²⁴³ in¹⁷²² bonds:²⁵⁴ that²⁴⁴³ therein^{1722, 846} I may speak boldly,³⁹⁵⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ I³¹⁶⁵ ought¹¹⁶³ to speak.²⁹⁸⁰

20  이 일을 위하여 내가 쇠사슬에 매인 사신이 된 것은 나로 이 일에 당연히 할 말을 담대히 하게 하려 하심이니라

20  for which I am an ambassador in bonds; so that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

20  이를 위하여 내가 사슬에 묶인 대사가 된 것은 나로 하여금 마땅히 할 말을 담대히 하게 하려는 것이니라.

21  But¹¹⁶¹ that²⁴⁴³ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² may know¹⁴⁹² my affairs,^{2596, 1691} and how⁵¹⁰¹ I do,⁴²³⁸ Tychicus,⁵¹⁹⁰ a beloved²⁷ brother⁸⁰ and²⁵³² faithful⁴¹⁰³ minister¹²⁴⁹ in¹⁷²² the Lord,²⁹⁶² shall make known¹¹⁰⁷ to you⁵²¹³ all things:³⁹⁵⁶

21  나의 사정 곧 내가 무엇을 하는지 너희에게도 알게 하려 하노니 사랑을 받은 형제요 주G2962 안에서 진실한 일군인 두기고가 모든 일을 너희에게 알게 하리라

21  But, so that you also may know my affairs and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things,

21    이제 너희는 내가 하고 있는 일과 나에 관한 것을 알게 되리니, 사랑하는 형제요, 주(야훼) 안에서 신실한 일꾼인 투기고가 모든 것을 너희에게 알게 하리라.

22  Whom³⁷³⁹ I have sent³⁹⁹² unto⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ for¹⁵¹⁹ the same purpose,^{846, 5124} that²⁴⁴³ ye might know¹⁰⁹⁷ our affairs,^{4012, 2257} and²⁵³² that he might comfort³⁸⁷⁰ your⁵²¹⁶ hearts.²⁵⁸⁸

22  우리 사정을 알게 하고 또 너희 마음을 위로하게 하기 위하여 내가 특별히 저를 너희에게 보내었노라

22  whom I have sent to you for the same purpose, that you might know our affairs and that he might comfort your hearts.

22  내가 이를 위하여 그를 너희에게 보내노니 너희가 우리에 관한 일을 알게 되고 아울러 그가 너희의 마음을 위로하리라.

23  Peace¹⁵¹⁵ be to the³⁵⁸⁸ brethren,⁸⁰ and²⁵³² love²⁶ with³³²⁶ faith,⁴¹⁰² from⁵⁷⁵ God²³¹⁶ the Father³⁹⁶² and²⁵³² the Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

23  아버지 하나님과 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도G5547에게로부터 평안과 믿음을 겸한 사랑이 형제들에게 있을지어다

23  Peace to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

23    형제들에게 화평이 있기를 바라며 또 하나님(야훼) 아버지와 주(아도나이H136) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악으)로부터 믿음을 겸한 사랑이 있기를 바라노라.

24  Grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ be with³³²⁶ all³⁹⁵⁶ them that love²⁵ our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ in¹⁷²² sincerity.⁸⁶¹ Amen.²⁸¹

24  우리 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도를G5547 변함 없이 사랑하는 모든 자에게 은혜가 있을지어다

24  Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
