1  If there be therefore any^{1536, 3767} consolation³⁸⁷⁴ in¹⁷²² Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ if any¹⁵³⁶ comfort³⁸⁹⁰ of love,²⁶ if any¹⁵³⁶ fellowship²⁸⁴² of the Spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ if any¹⁵³⁶ bowels⁴⁶⁹⁸ and²⁵³² mercies,³⁶²⁸

1  그러므로 그리스도G5547 안에 무슨 권면이나 사랑에 무슨 위로나 성령의 무슨 교제나 긍휼이나 자비가 있거든

1  If there is therefore any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tendernesses and mercies,

1 그러므로 그리스도(마쉬악H4899) 안에 어떤 격려나 사랑의 위로나 성령의 교제나 인정이나 자비가 있다면

2  Fulfill⁴¹³⁷ ye my³⁴⁵⁰ joy,⁵⁴⁷⁹ that²⁴⁴³ ye be likeminded,^{5426, 846} having²¹⁹² the³⁵⁸⁸ same⁸⁴⁶ love,²⁶ being of one accord,⁴⁸⁶¹ of one¹⁵²⁰ mind.⁵⁴²⁶

2  마음을 같이 하여 같은 사랑을 가지고 뜻을 합하며 한 마음을 품어

2  then fulfill my joy, that you may be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord and of one mind.

2  같은 생각이 되어 같은 사랑을 가지고 하나 되고 한 생각이 되어 너희는 나의 기쁨을 이루라.

3  Let nothing³³⁶⁷ be done through²⁵⁹⁶ strife²⁰⁵² or²²²⁸ vainglory;²⁷⁵⁴ but²³⁵ in lowliness of mind⁵⁰¹² let each esteem other^{240, 2233} better⁵²⁴² than themselves.¹⁴³⁸

3  아무 일에든지 다툼이나 허영으로 하지 말고 오직 겸손한 마음으로 각각 자기보다 남을 낫게 여기고

3  Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.

3  어떤 일도 다툼이나 허영을 따라서 하지 말고 오직 생각의 겸손함으로 남을 자신들보다 존중하고

4  Look⁴⁶⁴⁸ not³³⁶¹ every man¹⁵³⁸ on his own things,¹⁴³⁸ but²³⁵ every man¹⁵³⁸ also²⁵³² on the things of others.²⁰⁸⁷

4  각각 자기 일을 돌아볼 뿐더러 또한 각각 다른 사람들의 일을 돌아보아 나의 기쁨을 충만케 하라

4  Do not let each man look upon his own things, but each man also on the things of others.

4  각자 자기 일만 돌보지 말고 남의 일도 돌아보라.

5  ⁽¹⁰⁶³⁾ Let this mind be^{5426, 5124} in¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ which³⁷³⁹ was also²⁵³² in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus:²⁴²⁴

5  너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도G5547 예수의G2424 마음이니

5  For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

5  너희 안에 이 생각을 품으라. 곧 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 안에도 있는 생각이라.

6  Who,³⁷³⁹ being⁵²²⁵ in¹⁷²² the form³⁴⁴⁴ of God,²³¹⁶ thought²²³³ it not³⁷⁵⁶ robbery⁷²⁵ to be¹⁵¹¹ equal²⁴⁷⁰ with God:²³¹⁶

6  그는 근본 하나님의G2316 본체시나 하나님G2316과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고

6  who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God,

6  그는 하나님(야훼)의 형체로 계시므로 하나님(야훼와)과 동등하게 되는 것을 탈취라 생각지 아니하셨으나

7  But²³⁵ made himself of no reputation,^{2758, 1438} and took²⁹⁸³ upon him the form³⁴⁴⁴ of a servant,¹⁴⁰¹ and was made¹⁰⁹⁶ in¹⁷²² the likeness³⁶⁶⁷ of men:⁴⁴⁴

7  오히려 자기를 비어 종의 형체를 가져 사람들과 같이 되었고

7  but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.

7    오히려 자신을 비워 종의 형체를 입으시고 사람들과 같이 되셨느니라.

8  And²⁵³² being found²¹⁴⁷ in fashion⁴⁹⁷⁶ as⁵⁶¹³ a man,⁴⁴⁴ he humbled⁵⁰¹³ himself,¹⁴³⁸ and became¹⁰⁹⁶ obedient⁵²⁵⁵ unto³³⁶⁰ death,²²⁸⁸ even¹¹⁶¹ the death²²⁸⁸ of the cross.⁴⁷¹⁶

8  사람의 모양으로 나타나셨으매 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 복종하셨으니 곧 십자가에 죽으심이라

8  And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

8  그리하여 사람과 같은 모습으로 나타나셔서 자신을 낮추시고 죽음에까지 순종하셨으니, 십자가의 죽음에까지라.

9  Wherefore¹³⁵² God²³¹⁶ also²⁵³² hath highly exalted⁵²⁵¹ him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² given⁵⁴⁸³ him⁸⁴⁶ a name³⁶⁸⁶ which³⁵⁸⁸ is above⁵²²⁸ every³⁹⁵⁶ name:³⁶⁸⁶

9  이러므로 하나님이G2316 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사

9  Therefore God has highly exalted Him, and has given Him a name which is above every name,

9  이로 인하여 하나님(엘로힘)께서는 그를 지극히 높이시고 모든 이름 위에 있는 한 이름을 그에게 주사

10  That²⁴⁴³ at¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ name³⁶⁸⁶ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ every³⁹⁵⁶ knee¹¹¹⁹ should bow,²⁵⁷⁸ of things in heaven,²⁰³² and²⁵³² things in earth,¹⁹¹⁹ and²⁵³² things under the earth;²⁷⁰⁹

10  하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의G2424 이름에 꿇게 하시고

10  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly ones, and of earthly ones, and of ones under the earth;

10  하늘에 있는 것이나 땅 위에 있는 것이나 땅 아래 있는 것이나 모든 무릎을 예수(야슈아)의 이름에 꿇게 하시고,

11  And²⁵³² that every³⁹⁵⁶ tongue¹¹⁰⁰ should confess¹⁸⁴³ that³⁷⁵⁴ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ is Lord,²⁹⁶² to¹⁵¹⁹ the glory¹³⁹¹ of God²³¹⁶ the Father.³⁹⁶²

11  모든 입으로 예수G2424 그리스도를G5547 주라G2962 시인하여 하나님G2316 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라

11  and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

11   모든 혀가 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악을)를 주(아도나이H136)라 시인하여 하나님(야훼) 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라.

12  Wherefore,⁵⁶²⁰ my³⁴⁵⁰ beloved,²⁷ as²⁵³¹ ye have always³⁸⁴² obeyed,⁵²¹⁹ not³³⁶¹ as⁵⁶¹³ in¹⁷²² my³⁴⁵⁰ presence³⁹⁵² only,³⁴⁴⁰ but²³⁵ now³⁵⁶⁸ much⁴¹⁸³ more³¹²³ in¹⁷²² my³⁴⁵⁰ absence,⁶⁶⁶ work out²⁷¹⁶ your own¹⁴³⁸ salvation⁴⁹⁹¹ with³³²⁶ fear⁵⁴⁰¹ and²⁵³² trembling.⁵¹⁵⁶

12  그러므로 나의 사랑하는 자들아 너희가 나 있을 때 뿐 아니라 더욱 지금 나 없을 때에도 항상 복종하여 두렵고 떨림으로 너희 구원을 이루라

12  Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, cultivate your own salvation with fear and trembling.

12    그러므로 나의 사랑하는 자들아, 너희가 항상 복종했던 것처럼 내가 있을 때 뿐만 아니라 내가 없는 지금도 더욱더 두려움과 떨림으로 너희 구원을 온전히 이루라.

13  For¹⁰⁶³ it is²⁰⁷⁶ God²³¹⁶ which worketh¹⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ both²⁵³² to will²³⁰⁹ and²⁵³² to do¹⁷⁵⁴ of his⁵²²⁸ good pleasure.²¹⁰⁷

13  너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님G2316이시니 자기의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 너희로 소원을 두고 행하게 하시나니

13  For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

13  이는 너희 안에서 역사하시는 분은 하나님(엘로힘)이시니 그 분의 선한 기쁘심에 따라 뜻을 두고 행하게 하려 하심이라.

14  Do⁴¹⁶⁰ all things³⁹⁵⁶ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ murmurings¹¹¹² and²⁵³² disputings:¹²⁶¹

14  모든 일을 원망과 시비가 없이 하라

14  Do all things without murmurings and disputings,

14  모든 일을 불평이나 다툼이 없도록 하라.

15  That²⁴⁴³ ye may be¹⁰⁹⁶ blameless²⁷³ and²⁵³² harmless,¹⁸⁵ the sons⁵⁰⁴³ of God,²³¹⁶ without rebuke,²⁹⁸ in¹⁷²² the midst³³¹⁹ of a crooked⁴⁶⁴⁶ and²⁵³² perverse¹²⁹⁴ nation,¹⁰⁷⁴ among¹⁷²² whom³⁷³⁹ ye shine⁵³¹⁶ as⁵⁶¹³ lights⁵⁴⁵⁸ in¹⁷²² the world;²⁸⁸⁹

15  이는 너희가 흠이 없고 순전하여 어그러지고 거스리는 세대 가운데서 하나님의G2316 흠 없는 자녀로 세상에서 그들 가운데 빛들로 나타내며

15  so that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among these you shine as lights in the world,

15  이는 너희 하나님(야훼)의 아들들이 흠 없고 순전하여, 비뚤어지고 변질된 민족 가운데서 책망받지 않게 하려 함이니 너희는 세상에서 빛들을 비추는 자들이라.

16  Holding forth¹⁹⁰⁷ the word³⁰⁵⁶ of life;²²²² that³⁷⁵⁴ I¹⁶⁹⁸ may rejoice^{1519, 2745} in¹⁵¹⁹ the day²²⁵⁰ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ I have not³⁷⁵⁶ run⁵¹⁴³ in¹⁵¹⁹ vain,²⁷⁵⁶ neither³⁷⁶¹ labored²⁸⁷² in¹⁵¹⁹ vain.²⁷⁵⁶

16  생명의 말씀을 밝혀 나의 달음질도 헛되지 아니하고 수고도 헛되지 아니함으로 그리스도의G5547 날에 나로 자랑할 것이 있게 하려 함이라

16  holding forth the Word of Life, so that I may rejoice with you in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain nor labored in vain.

16  생명의 말씀을 제시하여 내가 헛되이 달리지도 아니하였고 헛되이 수고하지도 아니하였다는 것을 그리스도(마쉬악)의 날에 내가 자랑하려 함이라.

17  Yea,²³⁵ and if¹⁴⁹⁹ I be offered⁴⁶⁸⁹ upon¹⁹⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ sacrifice²³⁷⁸ and²⁵³² service³⁰⁰⁹ of your⁵²¹⁶ faith,⁴¹⁰² I joy,⁵⁴⁶³ and²⁵³² rejoice with⁴⁷⁹⁶ you⁵²¹³ all.³⁹⁵⁶

17  만일 너희 믿음의 제물과 봉사 위에 내가 나를 관제로 드릴지라도 나는 기뻐하고 너희 무리와 함께 기뻐하리니

17  Yea, and if I am offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy and rejoice with you all.

17  만일 내가 너희 믿음의 희생제물과 봉사 위에 나를 드린다 해도 나는 기쁘고 또 너희 모두와 함께 기뻐하리라.

18  ⁽¹¹⁶¹⁾ For the³⁵⁸⁸ same cause⁸⁴⁶ also²⁵³² do ye⁵²¹⁰ joy,⁵⁴⁶³ and²⁵³² rejoice with⁴⁷⁹⁶ me.³⁴²⁷

18  이와 같이 너희도 기뻐하고 나와 함께 기뻐하라

18  And you also rejoice in the same, and rejoice with me.

18 이와 같이 너희도 기뻐하고 나와 함께 기뻐하라.

19  But¹¹⁶¹ I trust¹⁶⁷⁹ in¹⁷²² the Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ to send³⁹⁹² Timothy⁵⁰⁹⁵ shortly⁵⁰³⁰ unto you,⁵²¹³ that²⁴⁴³ I also²⁵⁰⁴ may be of good comfort,²¹⁷⁴ when I know¹⁰⁹⁷ your state.^{4012, 5216}

19  내가 디모데를 속히 너희에게 보내기를 주G2962 안에서 바람은 너희 사정을 앎으로 안위를 받으려 함이니

19  But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly to you, so that I also may be of good comfort when I know your state.

19   그러나 내가 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아) 안에서 바라는 것은 디모데를 속히 너희에게 보내어 너희 형편을 알고 위로를 받으려 함이라.

20  For¹⁰⁶³ I have²¹⁹² no man³⁷⁶² likeminded,²⁴⁷³ who³⁷⁴⁸ will naturally¹¹⁰⁴ care³³⁰⁹ for your state.^{4012, 5216}

20  이는 뜻을 같이 하여 너희 사정을 진실히 생각할 자가 이 밖에 내게 없음이라

20  For I have no one who is like-minded, who will naturally care for your state.

20  이는 나에게는 생각을 같이하여 너희의 형편을 진심으로 염려해 줄 사람이 아무도 없기 때문이라.

21  For¹⁰⁶³ all³⁹⁵⁶ seek²²¹² their own,¹⁴³⁸ not³⁷⁵⁶ the things³⁵⁸⁸ which are Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ's.⁵⁵⁴⁷

21  저희가 다 자기 일을 구하고 그리스도G5547 예수의G2424 일을 구하지 아니하되

21  For all seek their own, not the things which are of Jesus Christ.

21   모두 자기 자신의 일만을 구하고 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아)의 일은 구하지 아니하느니라.

22  But¹¹⁶¹ ye know¹⁰⁹⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ proof¹³⁸² of him,⁸⁴⁶ that,³⁷⁵⁴ as⁵⁶¹³ a son⁵⁰⁴³ with the father,³⁹⁶² he hath served¹³⁹⁸ with⁴⁸⁶² me¹⁶⁹⁸ in¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel.²⁰⁹⁸

22  디모데의 연단을 너희가 아나니 자식이 아비에게 함같이 나와 함께 복음을 위하여 수고하였느니라

22  But you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.

22  그러나 너희는 디모데의 증거를 아나니 마치 아들이 아버지와 함께 섬긴 것처럼 그가 복음 안에서 나와 함께 섬겼느니라.

23  Him⁵¹²⁶ therefore⁽³⁷⁶⁷⁾ I hope¹⁶⁷⁹ to send³⁹⁹² presently,¹⁸²⁴ so soon as⁵⁶¹³ I shall see^{542, 302} how it will go with⁴⁰¹² me.¹⁶⁹¹

23  그러므로 내가 내 일이 어떻게 될 것을 보아서 곧 이 사람을 보내기를 바라고

23  Therefore I hope to send him presently, as soon as I shall see the things about me.

23   그러므로 나에 관한 일이 어떻게 되어 가는지를 보고서 곧 그를 보내기를 바라며

24  But¹¹⁶¹ I trust³⁹⁸² in¹⁷²² the Lord²⁹⁶² that³⁷⁵⁴ I also²⁵³² myself⁸⁴⁶ shall come²⁰⁶⁴ shortly.⁵⁰³⁰

24  나도 속히 가기를 주G2962 안에서 확신하노라

24  But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.

24  나 자신도 속히 가리라고 주(야훼) 안에서 확신하노라.

25  Yet¹¹⁶¹ I supposed²²³³ it necessary³¹⁶ to send³⁹⁹² to⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ Epaphroditus,¹⁸⁹¹ my³⁴⁵⁰ brother,⁸⁰ and²⁵³² companion in labor,⁴⁹⁰⁴ and²⁵³² fellow soldier,⁴⁹⁶¹ but¹¹⁶¹ your⁵²¹⁶ messenger,⁶⁵² and²⁵³² he that ministered³⁰¹¹ to my³⁴⁵⁰ wants.⁵⁵³²

25  그러나 에바브로디도를 너희에게 보내는 것이 필요한 줄로 생각하노니 그는 나의 형제요 함께 수고하고 함께 군사된 자요 너희 사자로 나의 쓸 것을 돕는 자라

25  Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-worker, and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and he who ministered to my wants.

25  또한 나는 에파프로디도를 너희에게 보내는 것이 필요하다고 생각하였노라. 그는 나의 형제요, 동역자이며, 전우이고, 너희의 사자이며 나의 필요를 공급해 주는 일꾼이라.

26  For¹⁸⁹⁴ he longed after^{2258, 1971} you⁵²⁰⁹ all,³⁹⁵⁶ and²⁵³² was full of heaviness,⁸⁵ because¹³⁶⁰ that ye had heard¹⁹¹ that³⁷⁵⁴ he had been sick.⁷⁷⁰

26  그가 너희 무리를 간절히 사모하고 자기 병든 것을 너희가 들은 줄을 알고 심히 근심한지라

26  For he longed after you all and was full of heaviness, because you had heard that he had been sick.

26  이는 그가 너희 모두를 그리워하고 그가 아프다는 것을 너희가 들었으므로 심히 근심하였음이라.

27  For¹⁰⁶³ indeed²⁵³² he was sick⁷⁷⁰ nigh unto³⁸⁹⁷ death:²²⁸⁸ but²³⁵ God²³¹⁶ had mercy¹⁶⁵³ on him;⁸⁴⁶ and¹¹⁶¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ on him⁸⁴⁶ only,³⁴⁴⁰ but²³⁵ on me¹⁶⁹¹ also,²⁵³² lest³³⁶³ I should have²¹⁹² sorrow³⁰⁷⁷ upon¹⁹⁰⁹ sorrow.³⁰⁷⁷

27  저가 병들어 죽게 되었으나 하나님이G2316 저를 긍휼히 여기셨고 저뿐 아니라 또 나를 긍휼히 여기사 내 근심 위에 근심을 면하게 하셨느니라

27  For indeed he was sick, coming near death, but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

27  이는 그가 정녕 병들어 죽게 되었으나 내가 슬픔 위에 슬픔을 당하지 않도록 하나님(엘로힘)께서 그에게 자비를 베푸셨으니 그에게뿐만 아니라 나에게도니라.

28  I sent³⁹⁹² him⁸⁴⁶ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ the more carefully,⁴⁷⁰⁸ that,²⁴⁴³ when ye see¹⁴⁹² him⁸⁴⁶ again,³⁸²⁵ ye may rejoice,⁵⁴⁶³ and that I²⁵⁰⁴ may be⁵⁶⁰⁰ the less sorrowful.²⁵³

28  그러므로 내가 더욱 급히 저를 보낸 것은 너희로 저를 다시 보고 기뻐하게 하며 내 근심도 덜려 함이니

28  Therefore I sent him the more eagerly, so that you may rejoice when you see him again, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

28  그러므로 내가 더욱 서둘러서 그를 보낸 것은 너희로 그를 다시 보고 기뻐하게 하며 또 나도 슬픔을 덜려 함이라.

29  Receive⁴³²⁷ him⁸⁴⁶ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ in¹⁷²² the Lord²⁹⁶² with³³²⁶ all³⁹⁵⁶ gladness;⁵⁴⁷⁹ and²⁵³² hold²¹⁹² such⁵¹⁰⁸ in reputation:¹⁷⁸⁴

29  이러므로 너희가 주G2962 안에서 모든 기쁨으로 저를 영접하고 또 이와 같은 자들을 존귀히 여기라

29  Therefore receive him in the Lord with all gladness, and hold such in honor,

29    그러므로 주(야훼) 안에서 그를 기쁨으로 영접하고 또 그와 같은 사람들을 귀하게 여기라.

30  Because³⁷⁵⁴ for¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ work²⁰⁴¹ of Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ he was nigh¹⁴⁴⁸ unto³³⁶⁰ death,²²⁸⁸ not regarding³⁸⁵¹ his life,⁵⁵⁹⁰ to²⁴⁴³ supply³⁷⁸ your⁵²¹⁶ lack⁵³⁰³ of service³⁰⁰⁹ toward⁴³¹⁴ me.³¹⁶⁵

30  저가 그리스도의G5547 일을 위하여 죽기에 이르러도 자기 목숨을 돌아보지 아니한 것은 나를 섬기는 너희의 일에 부족함을 채우려 함이니라

30  because for the work of Christ he was near death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

30  그가 그리스도(마쉬악)의 일을 위하여 거의 죽게 되었으나 자기 생명을 돌보지 아니하였으니, 이는 나에 대한 너희 섬김의 부족함을 그가 채우려 함이라.
