1  And²⁵³² you⁵²⁰⁹ hath he quickened, who were⁵⁶⁰⁷ dead³⁴⁹⁸ in trespasses³⁹⁰⁰ and²⁵³² sins²⁶⁶

1  너희의 허물과 죄로 죽었던 너희를 살리셨도다

1  And He has made you alive, who were once dead in trespasses and sins,

1  허물과 죄들 가운데 죽었던 너희를 그가 살리셨으니,

2  Wherein^{1722, 3739} in time past⁴²¹⁸ ye walked⁴⁰⁴³ according²⁵⁹⁶ to the³⁵⁸⁸ course¹⁶⁵ of this⁵¹²⁷ world,²⁸⁸⁹ according²⁵⁹⁶ to the³⁵⁸⁸ prince⁷⁵⁸ of the³⁵⁸⁸ power¹⁸⁴⁹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ air,¹⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ spirit⁴¹⁵¹ that now worketh^{1754, 3568} in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ children⁵²⁰⁷ of disobedience:⁵⁴³

2  그 때에 너희가 그 가운데서 행하여 이 세상 풍속을 좇고 공중의 권세 잡은 자를 따랐으니 곧 지금 불순종의 아들들 가운데서 역사하는 영이라

2  in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience;

2 전에는 너희가 그것들 가운데서 이 세상의 풍조를 따르고 공중 권세의 통치자, 곧 지금은 불순종의 자녀들 안에서 역사하는 영을 따라 행하였으니

3  Among¹⁷²² whom³⁷³⁹ also²⁵³² we²²⁴⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ had our conversation³⁹⁰ in times past⁴²¹⁸ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ lusts¹⁹³⁹ of our²²⁵⁷ flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ fulfilling⁴¹⁶⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ desires²³⁰⁷ of the³⁵⁸⁸ flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ and²⁵³² of the³⁵⁸⁸ mind;¹²⁷¹ and²⁵³² were²²⁵⁸ by nature⁵⁴⁴⁹ the children⁵⁰⁴³ of wrath,³⁷⁰⁹ even²⁵³² as⁵⁶¹³ others.³⁰⁶²

3  전에는 우리도 다 그 가운데서 우리 육체의 욕심을 따라 지내며 육체와 마음의 원하는 것을 하여 다른이들과 같이 본질상 진노의 자녀이었더니

3  among whom we also had our way of life in times past, in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

3  그들 가운데서 우리 모두가 이전에는 우리 육신의 정욕대로 행하였으며 육신과 마음의 욕망을 이루어 다른 자들과 마찬가지로 본래 진노의 자녀였느니라.

4  But¹¹⁶¹ God,²³¹⁶ who is⁵⁶⁰⁷ rich⁴¹⁴⁵ in¹⁷²² mercy,¹⁶⁵⁶ for¹²²³ his⁸⁴⁸ great⁴¹⁸³ love²⁶ wherewith³⁷³⁹ he loved²⁵ us,²²⁴⁸

4  긍휼에 풍성하신 하나님이G2316 우리를 사랑하신 그 큰 사랑을 인하여

4  But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love with which He loved us

4   그러나 자비가 풍성하신 하나님(엘로힘)께서 우리를 사랑하신 그의 큰 사랑으로 인하여

5  Even²⁵³² when we²²⁴⁸ were⁵⁶⁰⁷ dead³⁴⁹⁸ in sins,³⁹⁰⁰ hath quickened us together⁴⁸⁰⁶ with Christ, by⁵⁵⁴⁷ (grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ ye are²⁰⁷⁵ saved;)⁴⁹⁸²

5  허물로 죽은 우리를 그리스도G5547 예수와 함께 살리셨고 (너희가 은혜로 구원을 얻은 것이라)

5  (even when we were dead in sins) has made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved),

5    죄들 가운데서 죽었던 우리를 그리스도와(마쉬악과H4899) 함께 살리셨으니 (너희가 은혜로 구원을 받은 것이니라.)

6  And²⁵³² hath raised us up together,⁴⁸⁹¹ and²⁵³² made us sit together⁴⁷⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² heavenly²⁰³² places in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus:²⁴²⁴

6  또 함께 일으키사 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 함께 하늘에 앉히시니

6  and has raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,

6  또 함께 일으키사 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 안에서 천상에 함께 앉히셨으니

7  That²⁴⁴³ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ ages¹⁶⁵ to come¹⁹⁰⁴ he might show¹⁷³¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ exceeding⁵²³⁵ riches⁴¹⁴⁹ of his⁸⁴⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ in¹⁷²² his kindness⁵⁵⁴⁴ toward¹⁹⁰⁹ us²²⁴⁸ through¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus.²⁴²⁴

7  이는 그리스도G5547 예수G5547 안에서 우리에게 자비하심으로써 그 은혜의 지극히 풍성함을 오는 여러 세대에 나타내려 하심이니라

7  so that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

7   이는 하나님(그분)께서 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 안에서 인자하심 가운데 우리를 향한 그의 은혜의 지극히 풍요함을 오는 시대들에 보여 주시려 함이니라.

8  For¹⁰⁶³ by grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ are²⁰⁷⁵ ye saved⁴⁹⁸² through¹²²³ faith;⁴¹⁰² and²⁵³² that⁵¹²⁴ not³⁷⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ yourselves:⁵²¹⁶ it is the³⁵⁸⁸ gift¹⁴³⁵ of God:²³¹⁶

8  너희가 그 은혜를 인하여 믿음으로 말미암아 구원을 얻었나니 이것이 너희에게서 난 것이 아니요 하나님의G2316 선물이라

8  For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,

8  너희가 믿음으로 말미암아 은혜로 구원을 받았으니 이것은 너희에게서 난 것이 아니요 하나님(엘로힘)의 선물이라.

9  Not³⁷⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ works,²⁰⁴¹ lest³³⁶³ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ should boast.²⁷⁴⁴

9  행위에서 난 것이 아니니 이는 누구든지 자랑치 못하게 함이니라

9  not of works, lest anyone should boast.

9   행위에서 난 것이 아니니 아무도 자랑하지 못하게 하려 하심이라.

10  For¹⁰⁶³ we are²⁰⁷⁰ his⁸⁴⁶ workmanship,⁴¹⁶¹ created²⁹³⁶ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus²⁴²⁴ unto¹⁹⁰⁹ good¹⁸ works,²⁰⁴¹ which³⁷³⁹ God²³¹⁶ hath before ordained⁴²⁸² that²⁴⁴³ we should walk⁴⁰⁴³ in¹⁷²² them.⁸⁴⁶

10  우리는 그의 만드신바라 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 선한 일을 위하여 지으심을 받은 자니 이 일은 하나님이G2316 전에 예비하사 우리로 그 가운데서 행하게 하려 하심이니라

10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

10  우리는 그 분의 작품이니 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 안에서 선한 일들을 위하여 창조되었느니라. 이 일들은 하나님(엘로힘)께서 미리 정하시어 우리로 그것들 가운데서 행하게 하려 하신 것이라.

11  Wherefore¹³⁵² remember,³⁴²¹ that³⁷⁵⁴ ye⁵²¹⁰ being in time past⁴²¹⁸ Gentiles¹⁴⁸⁴ in¹⁷²² the flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ who³⁵⁸⁸ are called³⁰⁰⁴ Uncircumcision²⁰³ by⁵²⁵⁹ that which is called³⁰⁰⁴ the Circumcision⁴⁰⁶¹ in¹⁷²² the flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ made by hands;⁵⁴⁹⁹

11  그러므로 생각하라 너희는 그 때에 육체로 이방인이요 손으로 육체에 행한 할례당이라 칭하는 자들에게 무할례당이라 칭함을 받는 자들이라

11  Therefore remember that you, the nations, in time past were in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

11 그러므로 너희는 손으로 육체에 행한 할례자라 불리운 자들에 의하여 과거에는 육체로 무할례자라고 불리운 이방인들이었음을 기억하라.

12  That³⁷⁵⁴ at¹⁷²² that¹⁵⁶⁵ time²⁵⁴⁰ ye were²²⁵⁸ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ being aliens⁵²⁶ from the³⁵⁸⁸ commonwealth⁴¹⁷⁴ of Israel,²⁴⁷⁴ and²⁵³² strangers³⁵⁸¹ from the³⁵⁸⁸ covenants¹²⁴² of promise,¹⁸⁶⁰ having²¹⁹² no³³⁶¹ hope,¹⁶⁸⁰ and²⁵³² without God¹¹² in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ world:²⁸⁸⁹

12  그 때에 너희는 그리스도G5547 밖에 있었고 이스라엘 나라 밖의 사람이라 약속의 언약들에 대하여 외인이요 세상에서 소망이 없고 하나님G2316도 없는 자이더니

12  and that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.

12  그때에 너희는 그리스도(마쉬악으)로부터 분리되어 있었고, 이스라엘 나라에 속하지 않는 외국인이요, 약속의 언약들로부터는 생소한 사람이었으며, 소망도 없고, 세상에서 하나님(엘로힘)도 없었느니라.

13  But¹¹⁶¹ now³⁵⁷⁰ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus²⁴²⁴ ye⁵²¹⁰ who sometimes were^{5607, 4218} far off³¹¹² are made¹⁰⁹⁶ nigh¹⁴⁵¹ by¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ blood¹²⁹ of Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

13  이제는 전에 멀리 있던 너희가 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 그리스도의G5547 피로 가까와졌느니라

13  But now in Christ Jesus you who were once afar off are made near by the blood of Christ.

13   그러나 한때 멀리 있었던 너희가 이제 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 안에서 그리스도(마쉬악)의 피로 가까워졌느니라.

14  For¹⁰⁶³ he⁸⁴⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ our²²⁵⁷ peace,¹⁵¹⁵ who hath made⁴¹⁶⁰ both²⁹⁷ one,¹⁵²⁰ and²⁵³² hath broken down³⁰⁸⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ middle wall³³²⁰ of partition⁵⁴¹⁸ between us;

14  그는 우리의 화평이신지라 둘로 하나를 만드사 중간에 막힌 담을 허시고

14  For He is our peace, He making us both one, and He has broken down the middle wall of partition between us,

14    그는 우리의 화평이시니 둘을 하나로 만드셨고, 우리 사이에 가로막힌 중간의 벽을 허물어뜨리셨으며,

15  Having abolished²⁶⁷³ in¹⁷²² his⁸⁴⁸ flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ enmity,²¹⁸⁹ even the³⁵⁸⁸ law³⁵⁵¹ of commandments¹⁷⁸⁵ contained in¹⁷²² ordinances;¹³⁷⁸ for to²²⁴³ make²⁹³⁶ in¹⁷²² himself¹⁴³⁸ of twain^{1417, (1519)} one¹⁵²⁰ new²⁵³⁷ man,⁴⁴⁴ so making⁴¹⁶⁰ peace;¹⁵¹⁵

15  원수 된것 곧 의문에 속한 계명의 율법을 자기 육체로 폐하셨으니 이는 이 둘로 자기의 안에서 한 새 사람을 지어 화평하게 하시고

15  having abolished in His flesh the enmity (the Law of commandments contained in ordinances) so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, making peace between them;

15  원수된 것, 곧 법령 안에 속한 계명들의 율법까지도 그의 육신 안에서 폐기하셨으니 이는 그 둘을 자기 안에서 한 새 사람으로 창조하사 화평케 하시고,

16  And²⁵³² that he might reconcile⁶⁰⁴ both²⁹⁷ unto God²³¹⁶ in¹⁷²² one¹⁵²⁰ body⁴⁹⁸³ by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ cross,⁴⁷¹⁶ having slain⁶¹⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ enmity²¹⁸⁹ thereby:^{1722, 846}

16  또 십자가로 이 둘을 한 몸으로 하나님과G2316 화목하게 하려 하심이라 원수 된것을 십자가로 소멸하시고

16  and so that He might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity in Himself.

16  그가 십자가를 통하여 둘을 한 몸으로 만들어 하나님(엘로힘)과 화해하도록 함이며 그 십자가로 원수 된 것을 죽이려 함이니라.

17  And²⁵³² came²⁰⁶⁴ and preached²⁰⁹⁷ peace¹⁵¹⁵ to you⁵²¹³ which were afar off,³¹¹² and²⁵³² to them that were nigh.¹⁴⁵¹

17  또 오셔서 먼데 있는 너희에게 평안을 전하고 가까운데 있는 자들에게 평안을 전하셨으니

17  And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off, and to those who were near.

17   또 오셔서, 멀리 떨어져 있던 너희와 가까이 있던 그들에게 화평을 전파하셨느니라.

18  For³⁷⁵⁴ through¹²²³ him⁸⁴⁶ we both²⁹⁷ have²¹⁹² access⁴³¹⁸ by¹⁷²² one¹⁵²⁰ Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ unto⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ Father.³⁹⁶²

18  이는 저로 말미암아 우리 둘이 한 성령(oneG1520  SpiritG4151) 안에서 아버지께 나아감을 얻게 하려 하심이라

18  For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

18   이는 그를 통하여 우리 둘이 한 성령(oneG1520  SpiritG4151)으로 아버지께 나아감이라.

19  Now⁶⁸⁶ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ ye are²⁰⁷⁵ no more³⁷⁶⁵ strangers³⁵⁸¹ and²⁵³² foreigners,³⁹⁴¹ but²³⁵ fellow citizens⁴⁸⁴⁷ with the³⁵⁸⁸ saints,⁴⁰ and²⁵³² of the household³⁶⁰⁹ of God;²³¹⁶

19  그러므로 이제부터 너희가 외인도 아니요 손도 아니요 오직 성도들과 동일한 시민이요 하나님의G2316 권속이라

19  Now therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,

19  그러므로 이제부터 너희는 더 이상 타국인도 외국인도 아니요, 오히려 성도들과 같은 시민이며, 하나님(엘로힘)의 가족이니라.

20  And are built²⁰²⁶ upon¹⁹⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ foundation²³¹⁰ of the³⁵⁸⁸ apostles⁶⁵² and²⁵³² prophets,⁴³⁹⁶ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ himself⁸⁴⁶ being⁵⁶⁰⁷ the chief corner²⁰⁴ stone;

20  너희는 사도들과 선지자들의 터 위에 세우심을 입은 자라 그리스도G5547 예수께서G2424 친히 모퉁이 돌이 되셨느니라

20  and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

20  너희는 사도들과 선지자들의 기초 위에 세워졌으며 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악)께서 친히 귀중한 모퉁잇돌이 되셨고

21  In¹⁷²² whom³⁷³⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ building³⁶¹⁹ fitly framed together⁴⁸⁸³ groweth⁸³⁷ unto¹⁵¹⁹ a holy⁴⁰ temple³⁴⁸⁵ in¹⁷²² the Lord:²⁹⁶²

21  그의 안에서 건물마다 서로 연결하여 주G2962 안에서 성전이 되어가고

21  in whom every building having been fitly framed together, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord;

21  그분 안에서 건물 전체가 함께 알맞게 맞추어져 주(야훼) 안에서 거룩한 성전으로 자라가며,

22  In¹⁷²² whom³⁷³⁹ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² are builded together⁴⁹²⁵ for¹⁵¹⁹ a habitation²⁷³² of God²³¹⁶ through¹⁷²² the Spirit.⁴¹⁵¹

22  너희도 성령 안에서 하나님의G2316 거하실 처소가 되기 위하여 예수 안에서 함께 지어져 가느니라

22  in whom you also are built together for a dwelling place of God through the Spirit.

22  또한 그분 안에서 너희도 성령을 통하여 하나님(엘로힘)의 거처로 함께 지어져 가고 있는 것이니라.
