1  For this cause^{5484, 5127} I¹⁴⁷³ Paul,³⁹⁷² the³⁵⁸⁸ prisoner¹¹⁹⁸ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ for⁵²²⁸ you⁵²¹⁶ Gentiles,¹⁴⁸⁴

1  이러므로 그리스도G5547 예수의G2424 일로 너희 이방을 위하여 갇힌 자 된 나 바울은......

1  For this cause, I, Paul, am the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you nations,

1  이런 까닭에 나 바울은 너희 이방인들을 위하여 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악H4899)의 죄수가 되었으니,

2  If¹⁴⁸⁹ ye have heard¹⁹¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ dispensation³⁶²² of the³⁵⁸⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of God²³¹⁶ which is given¹³²⁵ me³⁴²⁷ to¹⁵¹⁹ you-ward:⁵²⁰⁹

2  너희를 위하여 내게 주신 하나님의G2316 그 은혜의 경륜을 너희가 들었을 터이라

2  if you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given to me toward you,

2    과연 너희를 위하여 내게 주신 하나님(엘로힘)의 은혜의 경륜을 너희가 들었을진대

3  How that³⁷⁵⁴ by²⁵⁹⁶ revelation⁶⁰² he made known¹¹⁰⁷ unto me³⁴²⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ mystery;³⁴⁶⁶ (as²⁵³¹ I wrote afore⁴²⁷⁰ in¹⁷²² few words,³⁶⁴¹

3  곧 계시로 내게 비밀을 알게 하신 것은 내가 이미 대강 기록함과 같으니

3  that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I wrote before in few words,

3  이것은 그 분이 계시로 내게 신비를 알게 하신 것이며 (내가 전에 간략하게 쓴 것과 같으니

4  Whereby,^{4314, 3739} when ye read,³¹⁴ ye may¹⁴¹⁰ understand³⁵³⁹ my³⁴⁵⁰ knowledge⁴⁹⁰⁷ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ mystery³⁴⁶⁶ of Christ)⁵⁵⁴⁷

4  이것을 읽으면 그리스도의G5547 비밀을 내가 깨달은 것을 너희가 알 수 있으리라

4  by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

4  너희가 읽을 때 거기서 그리스도(마쉬악)의 신비 안에 있는 나의 지식을 이해하게 되리라.)

5  Which³⁷³⁹ in¹⁷²² other²⁰⁸⁷ ages¹⁰⁷⁴ was not³⁷⁵⁶ made known¹¹⁰⁷ unto the³⁵⁸⁸ sons⁵²⁰⁷ of men,⁴⁴⁴ as⁵⁶¹³ it is now³⁵⁶⁸ revealed⁶⁰¹ unto his⁸⁴⁶ holy⁴⁰ apostles⁶⁵² and²⁵³² prophets⁴³⁹⁶ by¹⁷²² the Spirit;⁴¹⁵¹

5  이제 그의 거룩한 사도들과 선지자들에게 성령으로 나타내신것 같이 다른 세대에서는 사람의 아들들에게 알게 하지 아니하셨으니

5  which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit,

5   그것이 성령으로 그의 거룩한 사도들과 선지자들에게 지금 계시된 것처럼 다른 시대들에서는 사람들의 아들들에게 알려지지 아니하였으니

6  That the³⁵⁸⁸ Gentiles¹⁴⁸⁴ should be¹⁵¹¹ fellow heirs,⁴⁷⁸⁹ and²⁵³² of the same body,⁴⁹⁵⁴ and²⁵³² partakers⁴⁸³⁰ of his⁸⁴⁶ promise¹⁸⁶⁰ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel:²⁰⁹⁸

6  이는 이방인들이 복음으로 말미암아 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 함께 후사가 되고 함께 지체가 되고 함께 약속에 참예하는 자가 됨이라

6  that the nations should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partaker of His promise in Christ through the gospel.

6    이는 이방인들이 복음을 통하여 그리스도(마쉬악) 안에서 공동 상속자가 되고 한 몸이 되며 그의 약속에 동참자가 된다는 것이니라.

7  Whereof³⁷³⁹ I was made¹⁰⁹⁶ a minister,¹²⁴⁹ according²⁵⁹⁶ to the³⁵⁸⁸ gift¹⁴³¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of God²³¹⁶ given¹³²⁵ unto me³⁴²⁷ by²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ effectual working¹⁷⁵³ of his⁸⁴⁶ power.¹⁴¹¹

7  이 복음을 위하여 그의 능력이 역사하시는대로 내게 주신 하나님의G2316 은혜의 선물을 따라 내가 일군이 되었노라

7  Of this gospel I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effectual working of His power.

7  이로써 그 분의 능력이 효과적으로 역사하신 대로 내게 주신 하나님(엘로힘)의 은혜의 선물을 따라 내가 복음의 일꾼이 되었노라.

8  Unto me,¹⁶⁹⁸ who am less than the least¹⁶⁴⁷ of all³⁹⁵⁶ saints,⁴⁰ is this³⁷⁷⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ given,¹³²⁵ that I should preach²⁰⁹⁷ among¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ Gentiles¹⁴⁸⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ unsearchable⁴²¹ riches⁴¹⁴⁹ of Christ;⁵⁵⁴⁷

8  모든 성도 중에 지극히 작은 자보다 더 작은 나에게 이 은혜를 주신 것은 측량할 수 없는 그리스도의G5547 풍성을 이방인에게 전하게하시고

8  This grace is given to me (who am less than the least of all saints) to preach the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ among the nations,

8    모든 성도들 가운데서 가장 작은 자보다도 더 작은 나에게 이 은혜를 주신 것은 이방인들 가운데 헤아릴 수 없는 그리스도(마쉬악)의 풍요함을 전파하게 하려는 것이라.

9  And²⁵³² to make all men see^{5461, 3956} what⁵¹⁰¹ is the³⁵⁸⁸ fellowship²⁸⁴² of the³⁵⁸⁸ mystery,³⁴⁶⁶ which from⁵⁷⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ beginning of the world¹⁶⁵ hath been hid⁶¹³ in¹⁷²² God,²³¹⁶ who created²⁹³⁶ all things³⁹⁵⁶ by¹²²³ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ:⁵⁵⁴⁷

9  영원부터 만물을 창조하신 하나님G2316 속에 감취었던 비밀의 경륜이 어떠한 것을 드러내게 하려 하심이라

9  and to bring to light what is the fellowship of the mystery which from eternity has been hidden in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ;

9   또 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악)를 통하여 만물을 창조하신 하나님(엘로힘) 안에서 세상이 시작될 때부터 감추어져 왔던 신비의 교제가 무엇인지 모든 사람에게 알게 하려는 것이니

10  To the intent that²⁴⁴³ now³⁵⁶⁸ unto the³⁵⁸⁸ principalities⁷⁴⁶ and²⁵³² powers¹⁸⁴⁹ in¹⁷²² heavenly²⁰³² places might be known¹¹⁰⁷ by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ church¹⁵⁷⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ manifold⁴¹⁸² wisdom⁴⁶⁷⁸ of God,²³¹⁶

10  이는 이제 교회로 말미암아 하늘에서 정사와 권세들에게 하나님의G2316 각종 지혜를 알게 하려 하심이니

10  so that now to the rulers and powers in the heavenlies might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

10  이는 이제 교회를 통하여 천상에 있는 정사들과 권세들에게 하나님(엘로힘)의 다양한 지혜를 알게 하려는 것이라.

11  According²⁵⁹⁶ to the³⁵⁸⁸ eternal¹⁶⁵ purpose⁴²⁸⁶ which³⁷³⁹ he purposed⁴¹⁶⁰ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus²⁴²⁴ our²²⁵⁷ Lord:²⁹⁶²

11  곧 영원부터 우리 주G2962 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 예정하신 뜻대로 하신 것이라

11  according to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord;

11   이것은 하나님(그분)께서 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 우리 주(아도나이H136) 안에서 계획하신 영원한 목적에 따른 것이니라.

12  In¹⁷²² whom³⁷³⁹ we have²¹⁹² boldness³⁹⁵⁴ and²⁵³² access⁴³¹⁸ with¹⁷²² confidence⁴⁰⁰⁶ by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ faith⁴¹⁰² of him.⁸⁴⁶

12  우리가 그 안에서 그를 믿음으로 말미암아 담대함과 하나님께 당당히 나아감을 얻느니라

12  in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through His faith.

12  그 안에서 우리가 그 분을 믿음으로 담대함과 확신을 가지고 나아가느니라.

13  Wherefore¹³⁵² I desire¹⁵⁴ that ye faint¹⁵⁷³ not³³⁶¹ at¹⁷²² my³⁴⁵⁰ tribulations²³⁴⁷ for⁵²²⁸ you,⁵²¹⁶ which³⁷⁴⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ your⁵²¹⁶ glory.¹³⁹¹

13  그러므로 너희에게 구하노니 너희를 위한 나의 여러 환난에 대하여 낙심치 말라 이는 너희의 영광이니라

13  For this reason I desire that you faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

13   그러므로 너희가 너희로 인한 나의 환난들 때문에 낙심하지 않기를 내가 바라노라. 그것은 너희의 영광이니라.

14  For this cause^{5484, 5127} I bow²⁵⁷⁸ my³⁴⁵⁰ knees¹¹¹⁹ unto⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ Father³⁹⁶² of our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷

14  이러하므로 내가 하늘과 땅에 있는 각 족속에게

14  For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

14 이로 인하여 내가 우리 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악)의 아버지께 무릎을 꿇고 비노니,

15  Of¹⁵³⁷ whom³⁷³⁹ the whole³⁹⁵⁶ family³⁹⁶⁵ in¹⁷²² heaven³⁷⁷² and²⁵³² earth¹⁰⁹³ is named,³⁶⁸⁷

15  이름을 주신 아버지 앞에 무릎을 꿇고 비노니

15  of whom the whole family in Heaven and earth is named,

15 그분께로부터 하늘이나 땅에 있는 모든 가족이 이름을 부여받았느니라.

16  That²⁴⁴³ he would grant¹³²⁵ you,⁵²¹³ according²⁵⁹⁶ to the³⁵⁸⁸ riches⁴¹⁴⁹ of his⁸⁴⁸ glory,¹³⁹¹ to be strengthened²⁹⁰¹ with might¹⁴¹¹ by¹²²³ his⁸⁴⁸ Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ in¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ inner²⁰⁸⁰ man;⁴⁴⁴

16  그 영광의 풍성을 따라 그의 성령으로 말미암아 너희 속 사람을 능력으로 강건하게 하옵시며

16  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;

16  하나님(그분)께서 그의 영광의 풍요함을 따라 그의 성령을 통하여 너희 속 사람 안에서 능력으로 너희를 강건하게 하시고

17  That Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ may dwell²⁷³⁰ in¹⁷²² your⁵²¹⁶ hearts²⁵⁸⁸ by¹²²³ faith;⁴¹⁰² that²⁴⁴³ ye, being rooted⁴⁴⁹² and²⁵³² grounded²³¹¹ in¹⁷²² love,²⁶

17  믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도께서G5547 너희 마음에 계시게 하옵시고 너희가 사랑 가운데서 뿌리가 박히고 터가 굳어져서

17  that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

17  믿음으로 그리스도(마쉬악께서)가 너희 마음 속에 거하게 하시며 너희가 사랑 안에 뿌리를 내리고 터를 닦아

18  May be able¹⁸⁴⁰ to comprehend²⁶³⁸ with⁴⁸⁶² all³⁹⁵⁶ saints⁴⁰ what⁵¹⁰¹ is the³⁵⁸⁸ breadth,⁴¹¹⁴ and²⁵³² length,³³⁷² and²⁵³² depth,⁸⁹⁹ and²⁵³² height;⁵³¹¹

18  능히 모든 성도와 함께 지식에 넘치는 그리스도의 사랑을 알아

18  may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height,

18 모든 성도들과 함께 그 너비와 길이와 깊이와 높이가 얼마인가를 깨달을 수 있게 해 주시며

19  And⁵⁰³⁷ to know¹⁰⁹⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ love²⁶ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ which passeth⁵²³⁵ knowledge,¹¹⁰⁸ that²⁴⁴³ ye might be filled⁴¹³⁷ with¹⁵¹⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ fullness⁴¹³⁸ of God.²³¹⁶

19  그 넓이와 길이와 높이와 깊이가 어떠함을 깨달아 하나님의G2316 모든 충만하신 것으로 너희에게 충만하게 하시기를 구하노라

19  and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.

19 또 지식을 초월한 그리스도(마쉬악)의 사랑을 알아 너희가 하나님(엘로힘)의 모든 충만으로 가득 차기를 구하노라.

20  Now¹¹⁶¹ unto him that is able¹⁴¹⁰ to do⁴¹⁶⁰ exceeding abundantly^{5228, 1537, 4053} above⁵²²⁸ all³⁹⁵⁶ that³⁷³⁹ we ask¹⁵⁴ or²²²⁸ think,³⁵³⁹ according²⁵⁹⁶ to the³⁵⁸⁸ power¹⁴¹¹ that worketh¹⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² us,²²⁵⁴

20  우리 가운데서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리의 온갖 구하는 것이나 생각하는 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게

20  Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

20  우리 안에서 역사하시는 능력을 따라 우리가 구하는 것이나 생각하는 모든 것보다 훨씬 풍성하게 행하실 수 있는 그 분께

21  Unto him⁸⁴⁶ be glory¹³⁹¹ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ church¹⁵⁷⁷ by¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus²⁴²⁴ throughout¹⁵¹⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ ages,¹⁰⁷⁴ world without end.^{165, 165} Amen.²⁸¹

21  교회 안에서와 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 영광이 대대로 영원 무궁하기를 원하노라 아멘

21  to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, forever. Amen.

21   그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아)를 통하여 교회 안에서 그에게 영광이 끝없는 세상과 모든 시대에 걸쳐 있을지어다. 아멘.
