1  Paul,³⁹⁷² a prisoner¹¹⁹⁸ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ and²⁵³² Timothy⁵⁰⁹⁵ our brother,⁸⁰ unto Philemon⁵³⁷¹ our dearly beloved,²⁷ and²⁵³² fellow laborer,⁴⁹⁰⁴

1  그리스도G5547 예수를G2424 위하여 갇힌 자 된 바울과 및 형제 디모데는 우리의 사랑을 받는 자요 동역자인 빌레몬과

1  Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon the beloved and fellow laborer,

1   예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악H4899)의 죄수 된 바울과 우리 형제 디모데는 우리가 참으로 사랑하는 동역자 빌레몬과

2  And²⁵³² to our beloved²⁷ Apphia,⁶⁸² and²⁵³² Archippus⁷⁵¹ our²²⁵⁷ fellow soldier,⁴⁹⁶¹ and²⁵³² to the³⁵⁸⁸ church¹⁵⁷⁷ in²⁵⁹⁶ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ house:³⁶²⁴

2  및 자매 압비아와 및 우리와 함께 군사 된 아킵보와 네 집에 있는 교회에게 편지하노니

2  and to Apphia the beloved, and to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house.

2  우리의 사랑하는 압피아와 우리와 함께 군사 된 아킵포와 너의 집에 있는 교회에 편지하노니,

3  Grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ to you,⁵²¹³ and²⁵³² peace,¹⁵¹⁵ from⁵⁷⁵ God²³¹⁶ our²²⁵⁷ Father³⁹⁶² and²⁵³² the Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

3  하나님G2316 우리 아버지와 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도로G5547 좇아 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을지어다

3  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3   하나님(야훼) 우리 아버지와 주(아도나이H136) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악으)로부터 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을지어다.

4  I thank²¹⁶⁸ my³⁴⁵⁰ God,²³¹⁶ making⁴¹⁶⁰ mention³⁴¹⁷ of thee⁴⁶⁷⁵ always³⁸⁴² in¹⁹⁰⁹ my³⁴⁵⁰ prayers,⁴³³⁵

4  내가 항상 내 하나님께G2316 감사하고 기도할 때에 너를 말함은

4  I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers,

4   나의 기도에 항상 너를 말하며 나의 하나님(엘로힘)께 감사하는 것은

5  Hearing¹⁹¹ of thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ love²⁶ and²⁵³² faith,⁴¹⁰² which³⁷³⁹ thou hast²¹⁹² toward⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus,²⁴²⁴ and²⁵³² toward¹⁵¹⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ saints;⁴⁰

5  주G2962 예수G2424와 및 모든 성도에 대한 네 사랑과 믿음이 있음을 들음이니

5  hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,

5    주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아)와 모든 성도를 향한 너의 사랑과 믿음을 들음이니

6  That³⁷⁰⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ communication²⁸⁴² of thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ faith⁴¹⁰² may become¹⁰⁹⁶ effectual¹⁷⁵⁶ by¹⁷²² the acknowledging¹⁹²² of every³⁹⁵⁶ good thing¹⁸ which³⁵⁸⁸ is in¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ in¹⁵¹⁹ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus.²⁴²⁴

6  이로써 네 믿음의 교제가 우리 가운데 있는 선을 알게 하고 그리스도께G5547 미치도록 역사하느니라

6  that the fellowship of your faith may operate in a full knowledge of every good thing in you in Christ Jesus.

6   이는 너의 믿음의 교제가 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 안에서 너희 안에 있는 모든 선한 것을 인식함으로 인하여 효과가 있게 하려 함이라.

7  For¹⁰⁶³ we have²¹⁹² great⁴¹⁸³ joy⁵⁴⁸⁵ and²⁵³² consolation³⁸⁷⁴ in¹⁹⁰⁹ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ love,²⁶ because³⁷⁵⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ bowels⁴⁶⁹⁸ of the³⁵⁸⁸ saints⁴⁰ are refreshed³⁷³ by¹²²³ thee,⁴⁶⁷⁵ brother.⁸⁰

7  형제여 성도들의 마음이 너로 말미암아 평안함을 얻었으니 내가 너의 사랑으로 많은 기쁨과 위로를 얻었노라

7  For we have great joy and consolation over your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.

7  우리가 너의 사랑으로 큰 기쁨과 위로를 얻었노라. 형제여, 이는 너로 인하여 성도들의 마음이 새 힘을 얻었기 때문이라.

8  Wherefore,¹³⁵² though I might be²¹⁹² much⁴¹⁸³ bold³⁹⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ to enjoin²⁰⁰⁴ thee⁴⁶⁷¹ that which is convenient,⁴³³

8  이러므로 내가 그리스도 안에서 많은 담력을 가지고 네게 마땅한 일로 명할 수 있으나

8  Therefore, having much boldness in Christ to enjoin you to do the fitting thing;

8   그러므로 내가 그리스도 안에서 큰 담력을 가지고 마땅히 해야 할 것을 네게 명령할 수도 있지만

9  Yet for love's sake^{1223, 26} I rather³¹²³ beseech³⁸⁷⁰ thee, being⁵⁶⁰⁷ such a one⁵¹⁰⁸ as⁵⁶¹³ Paul³⁹⁷² the aged,⁴²⁴⁶ and¹¹⁶¹ now³⁵⁷⁰ also²⁵³² a prisoner¹¹⁹⁸ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

9  사랑을 인하여 도리어 간구하노니 나이 많은 나 바울은 지금 또 예수 그리스도를 위하여 갇힌 자 되어

9  rather through love I entreat, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

9   사랑으로 인하여 나 바울은 나이 많은 자로서 이제 또한 예수 그리스도의 죄수로서 오히려 네게 간청하노라.

10  I beseech³⁸⁷⁰ thee⁴⁵⁷¹ for⁴⁰¹² my¹⁶⁹⁹ son⁵⁰⁴³ Onesimus,³⁶⁸² whom³⁷³⁹ I have begotten¹⁰⁸⁰ in¹⁷²² my³⁴⁵⁰ bonds:¹¹⁹⁹

10  갇힌 중에서 낳은 아들 오네시모를 위하여 네게 간구하노라

10  I entreat you for my child Onesimus, whom I have fathered in my bonds,

10  내가 갇힌 중에 낳은 내 아들 오네시모를 위하여 네게 간청하노니

11  Which³⁵⁸⁸ in time past⁴²¹⁸ was to thee⁴⁶⁷¹ unprofitable,⁸⁹⁰ but¹¹⁶¹ now³⁵⁷⁰ profitable²¹⁷³ to thee⁴⁶⁷¹ and²⁵³² to me:¹⁶⁹⁸

11  저가 전에는 네게 무익하였으나 이제는 나와 네게 유익하므로

11  he who was once worthless to you, but now useful to you and to me; whom I sent back to you.

11    그가 전에는 네게 무익하였으나 이제는 너와 나에게 유익하므로

12  Whom³⁷³⁹ I have sent again:³⁷⁵ thou⁴⁷⁷¹ therefore¹¹⁶¹ receive⁴³⁵⁵ him,⁸⁴⁶ that is,⁵¹²³ mine own¹⁶⁹⁹ bowels:⁴⁶⁹⁸

12  네게 저를 돌려 보내노니 저는 내 심복이라

12  Even receive him, that is, my own heart,

12   내가 그를 다시 보내노니 그러므로 너는 그를 받아들이라. 그는 내 마음 같은 자라.

13  Whom³⁷³⁹ I¹⁴⁷³ would¹⁰¹⁴ have retained²⁷²² with⁴³¹⁴ me,¹⁶⁸³ that²⁴⁴³ in thy stead^{5228, 4675} he might have ministered unto¹²⁴⁷ me³⁴²⁷ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ bonds¹¹⁹⁹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel:²⁰⁹⁸

13  저를 내게 머물러 두어 내 복음을 위하여 갇힌 중에서 네 대신 나를 섬기게 하고자 하나

13  whom I resolved to retain with myself, so that for you he might have ministered to me in the bonds of the gospel.

13  내가 그를 나와 함께 있게 하여 복음을 위하여 갇혀 있는 나를 네 대신 섬기게 하고 싶었으나

14  But¹¹⁶¹ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ thy⁴⁶⁷⁴ mind¹¹⁰⁶ would²³⁰⁹ I do⁴¹⁶⁰ nothing;³⁷⁶² that²⁴⁴³ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ benefit¹⁸ should not³³⁶¹ be⁵⁶⁰⁰ as it were⁵⁶¹³ of²⁵⁹⁶ necessity,³¹⁸ but²³⁵ willingly.^{2596, 1595}

14  다만 네 승낙이 없이는 내가 아무 것도 하기를 원치 아니하노니 이는 너의 선한 일이 억지같이 되지 아니하고 자의로 되게 하려 함이로라

14  But without your consent I was willing to do nothing, that your good should not be of necessity, but willingly.

14  네 승낙이 없이는 내가 아무것도 하기를 원치 아니하노니 이는 너의 선한 일이 억지로 되지 아니하고 자의로 되게 하려 함이라.

15  For¹⁰⁶³ perhaps⁵⁰²⁹ he therefore^{1223, 5124} departed⁵⁵⁶³ for⁴³¹⁴ a season,⁵⁶¹⁰ that²⁴⁴³ thou shouldest receive⁵⁶⁸ him⁸⁴⁶ forever;¹⁶⁶

15  저가 잠시 떠나게 된 것은 이를 인하여 저를 영원히 두게 함이니

15  For perhaps because of this he was separated from you for an hour, that you should receive him eternally,

15  그가 잠시 떠나 있게 된 것은 아마 이로 인하여 네가 그를 영원히 얻게 하려는 것인지도 모르니

16  Not now³⁷⁶⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ a servant,¹⁴⁰¹ but²³⁵ above⁵²²⁸ a servant,¹⁴⁰¹ a brother⁸⁰ beloved,²⁷ especially³¹²² to me,¹⁶⁹⁸ but¹¹⁶¹ how much⁴²¹⁴ more³¹²³ unto thee,⁴⁶⁷¹ both²⁵³² in¹⁷²² the flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² the Lord?²⁹⁶²

16  이 후로는 종과 같이 아니하고 종에서 뛰어나 곧 사랑 받는 형제로 둘 자라 내게 특별히 그러하거든 하물며 육신과 주G2962 안에서 상관된 네게랴

16  not now as a slave, but beyond a slave, a beloved brother, especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

16   이제는 종으로서가 아니라 종 이상의 사랑하는 형제로서 내게 특별히 그러한데, 하물며 너에게는 육신과 주(야훼) 안에서 더욱 그러하지 않겠느냐?

17  If¹⁴⁸⁷ thou count²¹⁹² me¹⁶⁹¹ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ a partner,²⁸⁴⁴ receive⁴³⁵⁵ him⁸⁴⁶ as⁵⁶¹³ myself.¹⁶⁹¹

17  그러므로 네가 나를 동무로 알진대 저를 영접하기를 내게 하듯하고

17  If then you have me as a partner, receive him as me.

17   그러므로 네가 나를 동역자로 여긴다면 그를 나와 같이 영접하라.

18  ⁽¹¹⁶¹⁾ If¹⁴⁸⁷ he hath wronged⁹¹ thee,⁴⁵⁷¹ or²²²⁸ oweth³⁷⁸⁴ thee aught,⁵¹⁰⁰ put that on mine account;^{1677, 5124, 1698}

18  저가 만일 네게 불의를 하였거나 네게 진 것이 있거든 이것을 내게로 회계하라

18  If he has wronged you or owes you in anything, put that on my account.

18  만일 그가 네게 잘못을 저질렀거나 갚아야 할 빚이 있으면 내게로 넘기라.

19  I¹⁴⁷³ Paul³⁹⁷² have written¹¹²⁵ it with mine own¹⁶⁹⁹ hand,⁵⁴⁹⁵ I¹⁴⁷³ will repay⁶⁶¹ it: albeit²⁴⁴³ I do not³³⁶¹ say³⁰⁰⁴ to thee⁴⁶⁷¹ how³⁷⁵⁴ thou owest⁴³⁵⁹ unto me³⁴²⁷ even²⁵³² thine own self⁴⁵⁷² besides.

19  나 바울이 친필로 쓰노니 내가 갚으려니와 너는 이 외에 네 자신으로 내게 빚진 것을 내가 말하지 아니 하노라

19  I, Paul, wrote it with my own hand; I will repay, that I do not say to you that you owe even yourself to me also.

19   나 바울은 친필로 썼노니 내가 그것을 갚으리라. 그러나 나는 네가 비록 나에게 빚진 것이 있다 해도 말하지 않겠노라.

20  Yea,³⁴⁸³ brother,⁸⁰ let me¹⁴⁷³ have joy³⁶⁸⁵ of thee⁴⁶⁷⁵ in¹⁷²² the Lord:²⁹⁶² refresh³⁷³ my³⁴⁵⁰ bowels⁴⁶⁹⁸ in¹⁷²² the Lord.²⁹⁶²

20  오 형제여! 나로 주G2962 안에서 너를 인하여 기쁨을 얻게 하고 내 마음이 그리스도G2962 안에서 평안하게 하라

20  Yes, brother, that I may have your help in the Lord, refresh my heart in the Lord.

20  정녕 형제여, 내가 주(야훼) 안에서 너로 인하여 기쁨을 얻게 하고, 주(야훼) 안에서 내 마음이 새 힘을 얻게 하라.

21  Having confidence³⁹⁸² in thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ obedience⁵²¹⁸ I wrote¹¹²⁵ unto thee,⁴⁶⁷¹ knowing¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ thou wilt also²⁵³² do⁴¹⁶⁰ more than^{5228, 3739} I say.³⁰⁰⁴

21  나는 네가 순종함을 확신하므로 네게 썼노니 네가 나의 말보다 더 행할 줄을 아노라

21  Trusting to your obedience, I wrote to you, knowing that you will do even beyond what I say.

21  내가 너의 순종을 확신하고 너에게 썼노니, 이는 또한 내가 말하는 것 이상으로 네가 행할 줄 앎이라.

22  But¹¹⁶¹ withal²⁶⁰ prepare²⁰⁹⁰ me³⁴²⁷ also²⁵³² a lodging:³⁵⁷⁸ for¹⁰⁶³ I trust¹⁶⁷⁹ that³⁷⁵⁴ through¹²²³ your⁵²¹⁶ prayers⁴³³⁵ I shall be given⁵⁴⁸³ unto you.⁵²¹³

22  오직 너는 나를 위하여 처소를 예비하라 너희 기도로 내가 너희에게 나아가게 하여 주시기를 바라노라

22  But at once prepare lodging for me, for I hope that through your prayers I shall be given to you.

22    이 외에도 내게 숙소를 마련하라. 이는 너희의 기도로 말미암아 내가 너희에게 나아가게 되기를 바람이라.

23  There salute⁷⁸² thee⁴⁵⁷¹ Epaphras,¹⁸⁸⁹ my³⁴⁵⁰ fellow prisoner⁴⁸⁶⁹ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus;²⁴²⁴

23  그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 나와 함께 갇힌 자 에바브라와

23  Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you,

23    그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 안에서 나와 함께 갇힌 에파프라가 문안하고,

24  Mark,³¹³⁸ Aristarchus,⁷⁰⁸ Demas,¹²¹⁴ Luke,³⁰⁶⁵ my³⁴⁵⁰ fellow laborers.⁴⁹⁰⁴

24  "또한 나의 동역자 마가, 아리스다고, 데마, 누가가 문안하느니라"

24  and also Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-laborers.

24   나의 동역자 마르코와 아리스타코, 데마, 루카도 문안하느니라.

25  The³⁵⁸⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ be with³³²⁶ your⁵²¹⁶ spirit.⁴¹⁵¹ Amen.²⁸¹

25  우리 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도의G2424 은혜가 너희 심령과 함께 할지어다

25  May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

성경배과 사전: 빌레몬서 / [영]Epistle to Philemon

제1차 로마 투옥때에 바울이 쓴 서신. "동역자인 빌레몬과 및 자매 압비아와...아킵보와 네 집에 있는 교회"에게 보낸 것이다. 그 내용은 빌레몬에게서 달아났던 노예 오네시모에 관한 것이다. 오네시모는 바울을 통해 개종하고 믿음에 들어선 자로, 바울은 오네시모가 그의 주인에게 한 악행을 용서하라는 청원과 함께 그를 빌레몬에게 보냈다. 그 노예는 주인의 돈 얼마를 가지고 달아나서는 그 돈을 탕진해 버렸다. 바울은 빌레몬이 그의 돈을 다시 찾지 않기를 바랐으며 그가 정 받으려고 한다면 자신이 갚겠다고 했다.
