1  For¹⁰⁶³ yourselves,⁸⁴⁶ brethren,⁸⁰ know¹⁴⁹² our²²⁵⁷ entrance in¹⁵²⁹ unto⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ that³⁷⁵⁴ it was¹⁰⁹⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ in vain:²⁷⁵⁶

1  형제들아 우리가 너희 가운데 들어감이 헛되지 않은 줄을 너희가 친히 아나니

1  For, my brothers, you yourselves know our coming in to you, that it was not in vain.

1    형제들아, 우리가 너희에게로 들어간 것이 헛되지 않았음을 너희 자신들이 알고 있노라.

2  But²³⁵ even²⁵³² after that we had suffered before,⁴³¹⁰ and²⁵³² were shamefully entreated,⁵¹⁹⁵ as²⁵³¹ ye know,¹⁴⁹² at¹⁷²² Philippi,⁵³⁷⁵ we were bold³⁹⁵⁵ in¹⁷²² our²²⁵⁷ God²³¹⁶ to speak²⁹⁸⁰ unto⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel²⁰⁹⁸ of God²³¹⁶ with¹⁷²² much⁴¹⁸³ contention.⁷³

2  너희 아는 바와 같이 우리가 먼저 빌립보에서 고난과 능욕을 당하였으나 우리 하나님을G2316 힘입어 많은 싸움 중에 하나님의G2316 복음을 너희에게 말하였노라

2  But also suffering before, being insulted in Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much agony.

2   너희가 아는 바와 같이 우리가 이전에 빌립보에서 고난을 받고 모욕을 당하였으나 우리의 하나님(엘로힘) 안에서 담대하여 많은 투쟁을 하며 하나님(엘로힘)의 복음을 너희에게 전하였노라.

3  For¹⁰⁶³ our²²⁵⁷ exhortation³⁸⁷⁴ was not³⁷⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ deceit,⁴¹⁰⁶ nor³⁷⁶¹ of¹⁵³⁷ uncleanness,¹⁶⁷ nor³⁷⁷⁷ in¹⁷²² guile:¹³⁸⁸

3  우리의 권면은 간사에서나 부정에서 난 것도 아니요 궤계에 있는 것도 아니라

3  For our exhortation to you was not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile,

3  우리의 권면은 기만이나 부정이나 교활로 말미암지 않았고

4  But²³⁵ as²⁵³¹ we were allowed¹³⁸¹ of⁵²⁵⁹ God²³¹⁶ to be put in trust⁴¹⁰⁰ with the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel,²⁰⁹⁸ even so³⁷⁷⁹ we speak;²⁹⁸⁰ not³⁷⁵⁶ as⁵⁶¹³ pleasing⁷⁰⁰ men,⁴⁴⁴ but²³⁵ God,²³¹⁶ which trieth¹³⁸¹ our²²⁵⁷ hearts.²⁵⁸⁸

4  오직 하나님G2316의 옳게 여기심을 입어 복음 전할 부탁을 받았으니 우리가 이와 같이 말함은 사람을 기쁘게 하려 함이 아니요 오직 우리 마음을 감찰하시는 하나님을G2316 기쁘시게 하려 함이라

4  but as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who tries our hearts.

4  오직 하나님(엘로힘)의 승인을 받아 복음을 위탁받은 대로 전하노니 이는 사람들을 기쁘게 하려 함이 아니며 우리의 마음을 시험하시는 하나님(엘로힘)만을 기쁘시게 하려 함이니라.

5  For¹⁰⁶³ neither³⁷⁷⁷ at any time⁴²¹⁸ used we flattering words,^{1096, 1722, 3056, 2850} as²⁵³¹ ye know,¹⁴⁹² nor³⁷⁷⁷ a cloak⁴³⁹² of covetousness;⁴¹²⁴ God²³¹⁶ is witness:³¹⁴⁴

5  너희도 알거니와 우리가 아무 때에도 아첨의 말이나 탐심의 탈을 쓰지 아니한 것을 하나님이G2316 증거하시느니라

5  For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor with pretense of covetousness; God is witness.

5  너희도 아는 바와 같이 우리가 어느 때에도 아첨의 말이나 탐심의 구실로 하지 아니한 것을 하나님(야훼)께서 증거하시느니라.

6  Nor³⁷⁷⁷ of¹⁵³⁷ men⁴⁴⁴ sought²²¹² we glory,¹³⁹¹ neither³⁷⁷⁷ of⁵⁷⁵ you,⁵²¹⁶ nor³⁷⁷⁷ yet of⁵⁷⁵ others,²⁴³ when we might¹⁴¹⁰ have been¹⁵¹¹ burdensome,^{1722, 922} as⁵⁶¹³ the apostles⁶⁵² of Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

6  우리가 그리스도의G5547 사도로 능히 존중할 터이나 그러나 너희에게든지 다른 이에게든지 사람에게는 영광을 구치 아니하고

6  Nor did we seek glory from men, neither from you nor from others, being able to be so with heaviness, as apostles of Christ.

6   우리가 그리스도(마쉬악H4899)의 사도들로서 능히 짐을 지울 수 있었지만 너희에게서나 혹 다른 사람에게서도 사람의 영광은 구하지 아니하였으며

7  But²³⁵ we were¹⁰⁹⁶ gentle²²⁶¹ among^{1722, 3319} you,⁵²¹⁶ even as^{5613, 302} a nurse⁵¹⁶² cherisheth²²⁸² her¹⁴³⁸ children:⁵⁰⁴³

7  오직 우리가 너희 가운데서 유순한 자 되어 유모가 자기 자녀를 기름과 같이 하였으니

7  But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse warmly cherishes her children.

7   오직 너희 가운데서 마치 유모가 자기의 친자녀들을 소중히 여김과 같이 온화하였느니라.

8  So³⁷⁷⁹ being affectionately desirous²⁴⁴² of you,⁵²¹⁶ we were willing²¹⁰⁶ to have imparted³³³⁰ unto you,⁵²¹³ not³⁷⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel²⁰⁹⁸ of God²³¹⁶ only,³⁴⁴⁰ but²³⁵ also²⁵³² our own¹⁴³⁸ souls,⁵⁵⁹⁰ because¹³⁶⁰ ye were¹⁰⁹⁶ dear²⁷ unto us.²²⁵⁴

8  우리가 이같이 너희를 사모하여 하나님의G2316 복음으로만 아니라 우리 목숨까지 너희에게 주기를 즐겨함은 너희가 우리의 사랑하는 자 됨이니라

8  So affectionately longing for you, we were willing to have imparted to you, not only the gospel of God, but also our own souls, because you have become beloved to us.

8   너희를 그처럼 몹시 그리워하여 하나님(엘로힘)의 복음뿐만 아니라 우리 자신의 생명까지도 너희에게 주기를 기뻐하였으니, 이는 너희가 우리의 사랑하는 자가 되었기 때문이니라.

9  For¹⁰⁶³ ye remember,³⁴²¹ brethren,⁸⁰ our²²⁵⁷ labor²⁸⁷³ and²⁵³² travail:³⁴⁴⁹ for¹⁰⁶³ laboring²⁰³⁸ night³⁵⁷¹ and²⁵³² day,²²⁵⁰ because we would not³³⁶¹ be chargable¹⁹¹² unto any⁵¹⁰⁰ of you,⁵²¹⁶ we preached²⁷⁸⁴ unto¹⁵¹⁹ you⁵²⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel²⁰⁹⁸ of God.²³¹⁶

9  형제들아 우리의 수고와 애쓴 것을 너희가 기억하리니 너희 아무에게도 누를 끼치지 아니하려고 밤과 낮으로 일하면서 너희에게 하나님의G2316 복음을 전파하였노라

9  For, brothers, you remember our labor and toil. For laboring night and day in order not to put a burden on any one of you, we preached the gospel of God to you.

9  형제들아, 너희가 우리의 수고와 고생을 기억하리니, 이는 너희 가운데서 아무에게도 짐이 되지 아니하려고 밤낮 일하면서 너희에게 하나님(엘로힘)의 복음을 전파하였음이라.

10  Ye⁵²¹⁰ are witnesses,³¹⁴⁴ and²⁵³² God²³¹⁶ also, how⁵⁶¹³ holily³⁷⁴³ and²⁵³² justly¹³⁴⁶ and²⁵³² unblamably²⁷⁴ we behaved ourselves¹⁰⁹⁶ among you⁵²¹³ that believe:⁴¹⁰⁰

10  우리가 너희 믿는 자들을 향하여 어떻게 거룩하고 옳고 흠없이 행한 것에 대하여 너희가 증인이요 하나님G2316도 그러하시도다

10  You and God are witnesses how holily and justly and blamelessly we were to you who believe,

10  우리가 너희 믿는 자들에게 얼마나 경건하고 의롭고 흠 없이 행동하였는가는 너희가 증인이며 또 하나님(엘로힘)께서도 그러하시니라.

11  As²⁵⁰⁹ ye know¹⁴⁹² how⁵⁶¹³ we exhorted^{3870, (5209)} and²⁵³² comforted³⁸⁸⁸ and²⁵³² charged³¹⁴⁰ every¹⁵³⁸ one¹⁵²⁰ of you,⁵²¹⁶ as⁵⁶¹³ a father³⁹⁶² doth his¹⁴³⁸ children,⁵⁰⁴³

11  너희도 아는 바와 같이 우리가 너희 각 사람에게 아비가 자기 자녀에게 하듯 권면하고 위로하고 경계하노니

11  even as you know how we exhorted and comforted and testified to each one of you, as a father to his children,

11    너희가 아는 바와 같이 우리가 너희 각 사람에게 마치 아버지가 자기 자녀들에게 하듯이 권고하고 위로하고 증거하였으니

12  That ye⁵²⁰⁹ would walk⁴⁰⁴³ worthy⁵¹⁶ of God,²³¹⁶ who hath called²⁵⁶⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ unto¹⁵¹⁹ his¹⁴³⁸ kingdom⁹³² and²⁵³² glory.¹³⁹¹

12  이는 너희를 부르사 자기 나라와 영광에 이르게 하시는 하나님께G2316 합당히 행하게 하려 함이니라

12  that you should walk worthy of God, who has called you to His kingdom and glory.

12  이는 너희를 그의 나라와 영광으로 부르신 하나님(엘로힘)께 합당히 행하게 하려 함이니라.

13  For this cause^{1223, 5124} also²⁵³² thank²¹⁶⁸ we²²⁴⁹ God²³¹⁶ without ceasing,⁸⁹ because,³⁷⁵⁴ when ye received³⁸⁸⁰ the word³⁰⁵⁶ of God²³¹⁶ which ye heard¹⁸⁹ of³⁸⁴⁴ us,²²⁵⁷ ye received¹²⁰⁹ it not³⁷⁵⁶ as the word³⁰⁵⁶ of men,⁴⁴⁴ but²³⁵ as²⁵³¹ it is²⁰⁷⁶ in truth,²³⁰ the word³⁰⁵⁶ of God,²³¹⁶ which³⁷³⁹ effectually worketh¹⁷⁵⁴ also²⁵³² in¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ that believe.⁴¹⁰⁰

13  이러므로 우리가 하나님께G2316 쉬지 않고 감사함은 너희가 우리에게 들은바 하나님의G2316 말씀을 받을 때에 사람의 말로 아니하고 하나님의G2316 말씀으로 받음이니 진실로 그러하다 이 말씀이 또한 너희 믿는 자 속에서 역사하느니라

13  And for this cause we thank God without ceasing, that when you received the Word of hearing, of God, you welcomed it as the Word of God, not as a word of men, but as it is, truly the Word of God, which also effectually works in you who believe.

13  이로 인하여 우리가 하나님(엘로힘)께 쉬지 않고 감사함은 너희가 우리에게 들은 바 하나님(엘로힘)의 말씀을 받을 때에 사람의 말로 받아들이지 아니하고 사실 그대로 하나님(야훼)의 말씀으로 받았으니, 이 말씀이 믿는 너희 가운데서도 효과적으로 역사하느니라.

14  For¹⁰⁶³ ye,⁵²¹⁰ brethren,⁸⁰ became¹⁰⁹⁶ followers³⁴⁰² of the³⁵⁸⁸ churches¹⁵⁷⁷ of God²³¹⁶ which in¹⁷²² Judea²⁴⁴⁹ are⁵⁶⁰⁷ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus:²⁴²⁴ for³⁷⁵⁴ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² have suffered³⁹⁵⁸ like things⁵⁰²⁴ of⁵²⁵⁹ your own²³⁹⁸ countrymen,⁴⁸⁵³ even as²⁵³¹ they⁸⁴⁶ have⁽²⁵³²⁾ of⁵²⁵⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Jews:²⁴⁵³

14  형제들아 너희가 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 유대에 있는 하나님의G2316 교회들을 본받은 자 되었으니 저희가 유대인들에게 고난을 받음과 같이 너희도 너희 나라 사람들에게 동일한 것을 받았느니라

14  For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also have suffered these things by your own countrymen, even as they also by the Jews;

14  형제들아, 너희가 그리스도(마쉬악) 예수(야슈아) 안에서 유대에 있는 하나님(엘로힘)의 교회들을 따르는 자들이 되어 그들이 유대인들에게서 고난을 받은 것같이 너희도 너희 나라 사람들에게서 동일한 것을 받았으니

15  Who both killed^{615, 2532} the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus,²⁴²⁴ and²⁵³² their own²³⁹⁸ prophets,⁴³⁹⁶ and²⁵³² have persecuted¹⁵⁵⁹ us;²²⁴⁸ and²⁵³² they please⁷⁰⁰ not³³⁶¹ God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² are contrary¹⁷²⁷ to all³⁹⁵⁶ men:⁴⁴⁴

15  유대인은 주G2962 예수G2424와 선지자들을 죽이고 우리를 쫓아내고 하나님을G2316 기쁘시게 아니하고 모든 사람에게 대적이 되어

15  who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, also driving us out and they do not please God and being contrary to all men,

15  그들은 주(아도나이H136) 예수(야슈아)와 자기들의 선지자들을 죽였고 우리를 박해하였으며 하나님(야훼)을 기쁘시게 하지 아니하고 모든 사람들을 대적하여

16  Forbidding²⁹⁶⁷ us²²⁴⁸ to speak²⁹⁸⁰ to the³⁵⁸⁸ Gentiles¹⁴⁸⁴ that²⁴⁴³ they might be saved,⁴⁹⁸² to fill up³⁷⁸ their⁸⁴⁸ sins²⁶⁶ always:³⁸⁴² for¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ wrath³⁷⁰⁹ is come⁵³⁴⁸ upon¹⁹⁰⁹ them⁸⁴⁶ to¹⁵¹⁹ the uttermost.⁵⁰⁵⁶

16  우리가 이방인에게 말하여 구원 얻게 함을 저희가 금하여 자기 죄를 항상 채우매 노하심이 끝까지 저희에게 임하였느니라

16  forbidding us to speak to the nations that they might be saved, to fill up their sins always; but the wrath has come upon them to the uttermost.

16    우리가 이방인들의 구원을 위하여 말하는 것을 금지시킴으로써 항상 자신들의 죄들을 채우니, 이는 그들에게 임한 진노가 극에 달하였음이니라.

17  But¹¹⁶¹ we,²²⁴⁹ brethren,⁸⁰ being taken⁶⁴² from⁵⁷⁵ you⁵²¹⁶ for⁴³¹⁴ a short time^{5610, 2540} in presence,⁴³⁸³ not³⁷⁵⁶ in heart,²⁵⁸⁸ endeavored⁴⁷⁰⁴ the more abundantly⁴⁰⁵⁶ to see¹⁴⁹² your⁵²¹⁶ face⁴³⁸³ with¹⁷²² great⁴¹⁸³ desire.¹⁹³⁹

17  형제들아 우리가 잠시 너희를 떠난 것은 얼굴이요 마음은 아니니 너희 얼굴 보기를 열정으로 더욱 힘썼노라

17  But, my brothers, when we were taken away from you for an hour's time (in presence, not in heart), more abundantly we were eager with much desire to see your face.

17    형제들아, 우리가 잠시 동안 너희와 헤어져 있었지만 얼굴이지 마음은 아니기에 너희의 얼굴 보기를 더욱 간절히 바랐노라.

18  Wherefore¹³⁵² we would²³⁰⁹ have come²⁰⁶⁴ unto⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ even³³⁰³ I¹⁴⁷³ Paul,^{3972, (2532)} once and again;^{530, 2532, 1364} but²⁵³² Satan⁴⁵⁶⁷ hindered¹⁴⁶⁵ us.²²⁴⁸

18  그러므로 나 바울은 한번 두번 너희에게 가고자 하였으나 사단이 우리를 막았도다

18  Therefore we desired to come to you, truly I, Paul, both once and twice; but Satan hindered us.

18  그러므로 우리는 너희에게 가고자 하였으며 특히 나 바울은 한두 번 가려 하였으나 사탄이 우리를 방해하였노라.

19  For¹⁰⁶³ what⁵¹⁰¹ is our²²⁵⁷ hope,¹⁶⁸⁰ or²²²⁸ joy,⁵⁴⁷⁹ or²²²⁸ crown⁴⁷³⁵ of rejoicing?²⁷⁴⁶ Are⁽²²²⁸⁾ not³⁷⁸⁰ even²⁵³² ye⁵²¹⁰ in the presence¹⁷¹⁵ of our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ at¹⁷²² his⁸⁴⁶ coming?³⁹⁵²

19  우리의 소망이나 기쁨이나 자랑의 면류관이 무엇이냐 그의 강림하실 때 우리 주G2962 예수G2424 앞에 너희가 아니냐

19  For what is our hope or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are you not even to be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?

19  우리의 소망이나, 기쁨이나, 자랑의 면류관이 무엇이냐? 그가 오실 때 우리 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악) 앞에 있을 너희가 아니겠느냐?

20  For¹⁰⁶³ ye⁵²¹⁰ are²⁰⁷⁵ our²²⁵⁷ glory¹³⁹¹ and²⁵³² joy.⁵⁴⁷⁹

20  너희는 우리의 영광이요 기쁨이니라

20  For you are our glory and joy.

20    이는 너희가 우리의 영광과 기쁨이기 때문이라.
