1  Finally,³⁰⁶³ brethren,⁸⁰ pray⁴³³⁶ for⁴⁰¹² us,²²⁵⁷ that²⁴⁴³ the³⁵⁸⁸ word³⁰⁵⁶ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² may have free course,⁵¹⁴³ and²⁵³² be glorified,¹³⁹² even²⁵³² as²⁵³¹ it is with⁴³¹⁴ you:⁵²⁰⁹

1  종말로 형제들아 너희는 우리를 위하여 기도하기를 주의G2962 말씀이 너희 가운데서와 같이 달음질하여 영광스럽게 되고

1  Finally, my brothers, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified, even as it also is with you.

1  끝으로 형제들아, 우리를 위하여 기도하기를 주(야훼)의 말씀이 너희와 함께 있는 것처럼 속히 전파되어 영광스럽게 되고

2  And²⁵³² that²⁴⁴³ we may be delivered⁴⁵⁰⁶ from⁵⁷⁵ unreasonable⁸²⁴ and²⁵³² wicked⁴¹⁹⁰ men:⁴⁴⁴ for¹⁰⁶³ all³⁹⁵⁶ men have not³⁷⁵⁶ faith.⁴¹⁰²

2  또한 우리를 무리하고 악한 사람들에게서 건지옵소서 하라 믿음은 모든 사람의 것이 아님이라

2  And pray that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for all do not have the faith.

2  또 우리가 부당하고 악한 사람들로부터 구출되게 하옵소서 하라. 이는 모든 사람이 믿음을 가진 것이 아니기 때문이라.

3  But¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² is²⁰⁷⁶ faithful,⁴¹⁰³ who³⁷³⁹ shall establish⁴⁷⁴¹ you,⁵²⁰⁹ and²⁵³² keep⁵⁴⁴² you from⁵⁷⁵ evil.⁴¹⁹⁰

3  주는G2962 미쁘사 너희를 굳게 하시고 악한 자에게서 지키시리라

3  But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you and guard you from the evil.

3  그러나 주(아도나이H136)께서는 신실하시어 너희를 견고케 하시고, 악으로부터 지키시리라.

4  And¹¹⁶¹ we have confidence³⁹⁸² in¹⁷²² the Lord²⁹⁶² touching¹⁹⁰⁹ you,⁵²⁰⁹ that³⁷⁵⁴ ye both²⁵³² do⁴¹⁶⁰ and²⁵³² will do⁴¹⁶⁰ the things which³⁷³⁹ we command³⁸⁵³ you.⁵²¹³

4  너희에게 대하여는 우리의 명한 것을 너희가 행하고 또 행할 줄을 우리가 주G2962 안에서 확신하노니

4  And we have confidence in the Lord regarding you, that you both do and will do the things which we command you.

4  이제 우리가 너희에 대하여 주(야훼) 안에서 확신하는 것은 우리가 너희에게 명하는 것을 너희가 행하고 또 행하리라는 것이라.

5  And¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² direct²⁷²⁰ your⁵²¹⁶ hearts²⁵⁸⁸ into¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ love²⁶ of God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² into¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ patient waiting⁵²⁸¹ for Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

5  주께서G2962 너희 마음을 인도하여 하나님의G2316 사랑과 그리스도의G5547 인내에 들어가게 하시기를 원하노라

5  And may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

5    또 주(아도나이)께서 너희 마음을 하나님(엘로힘)의 사랑과 그리스도(마쉬악H4899을)를 기다리는 인내로 인도하여 주실 것을 바라노라.

6  Now¹¹⁶¹ we command³⁸⁵³ you,⁵²¹³ brethren,⁸⁰ in¹⁷²² the name³⁶⁸⁶ of our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ that ye⁵²⁰⁹ withdraw yourselves⁴⁷²⁴ from⁵⁷⁵ every³⁹⁵⁶ brother⁸⁰ that walketh⁴⁰⁴³ disorderly,⁸¹⁴ and²⁵³² not³³⁶¹ after²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ tradition³⁸⁶² which³⁷³⁹ he received³⁸⁸⁰ of³⁸⁴⁴ us.²²⁵⁷

6  형제들아 우리 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도의G5547 이름으로 너희를 명하노니 규모 없이 행하고 우리에게 받은 유전대로 행하지 아니하는 모든 형제에게서 떠나라

6  Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks disorderly, and not after the teaching which he received from us.

6  형제들아, 우리 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악)의 이름으로 너희에게 명하노니 무질서하게 행동하고 우리에게서 받은 전통을 따라 행하지 않는 모든 형제를 멀리 하라.

7  For¹⁰⁶³ yourselves⁸⁴⁶ know¹⁴⁹² how⁴⁴⁵⁹ ye ought¹¹⁶³ to follow³⁴⁰¹ us:²²⁴⁸ for³⁷⁵⁴ we behaved not ourselves disorderly^{812, 3756} among¹⁷²² you;⁵²¹³

7  어떻게 우리를 본받아야 할 것을 너희가 스스로 아나니 우리가 너희 가운데서 규모 없이 행하지 아니하며

7  For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us. For we did not behave ourselves disorderly among you,

7  너희가 어떻게 우리를 본받아야 할 것인지를 너희 스스로가 아나니 우리는 너희 가운데서 무질서하게 행하지 아니하였으며

8  Neither³⁷⁶¹ did we eat⁵³¹⁵ any⁽³⁸⁴⁴⁾ man's⁵¹⁰⁰ bread⁷⁴⁰ for naught;¹⁴³² but²³⁵ wrought²⁰³⁸ with¹⁷²² labor²⁸⁷³ and²⁵³² travail³⁴⁴⁹ night³⁵⁷¹ and²⁵³² day,²²⁵⁰ that we might not³³⁶¹ be chargable¹⁹¹² to any⁵¹⁰⁰ of you:⁵²¹⁶

8  누구에게서든지 양식을 값없이 먹지 않고 오직 수고하고 애써 주야로 일함은 너희 아무에게도 누를 끼치지 아니하려 함이니

8  neither did we eat any man's bread freely, but we worked with labor and travail night and day, so that we might not be heavy on any of you

8   아무에게서도 양식을 거저 먹지 않고 도리어 주야로 수고하고 애써 일하여 너희 가운데 아무에게도 부담이 되지 않도록 했노라.

9  Not³⁷⁵⁶ because³⁷⁵⁴ we have²¹⁹² not³⁷⁵⁶ power,¹⁸⁴⁹ but²³⁵ to²⁴⁴³ make¹³²⁵ ourselves¹⁴³⁸ an example⁵¹⁷⁹ unto you⁵²¹³ to follow³⁴⁰¹ us.²²⁴⁸

9  우리에게 권리가 없는 것이 아니요 오직 스스로 너희에게 본을 주어 우리를 본받게 하려 함이니라

9  (not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example to you, to imitate us).

9  이는 우리에게 권리가 없어서가 아니요 다만 우리가 스스로 너희에게 본을 보여 우리를 본받게 하려 함이라.

10  For¹⁰⁶³ even²⁵³² when³⁷⁵³ we were²²⁵⁸ with⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ this⁵¹²⁴ we commanded³⁸⁵³ you,⁵²¹³ that³⁷⁵⁴ if any¹⁵³⁶ would²³⁰⁹ not³⁷⁵⁶ work,²⁰³⁸ neither³³⁶⁶ should he eat.²⁰⁶⁸

10  우리가 너희와 함께 있을 때에도 너희에게 명하기를 누구든지 일하기 싫어하거든 먹지도 말게 하라 하였더니

10  For even when we were with you, we commanded you this, that if anyone would not work, neither should he eat.

10  우리가 너희와 함께 있을 때에도 너희에게 명하기를 누구든지 일하기 싫어하거든 먹지도 말라 하였노라.

11  For¹⁰⁶³ we hear¹⁹¹ that there are some⁵¹⁰⁰ which walk⁴⁰⁴³ among¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ disorderly,⁸¹⁴ working²⁰³⁸ not at all,³³⁶⁷ but²³⁵ are busybodies.⁴⁰²⁰

11  우리가 들은즉 너희 가운데 규모 없이 행하여 도무지 일하지 아니하고 일만 만드는 자들이 있다 하니

11  For we hear that there are some who walk disorderly among you, not working at all, but being busybodies.

11 우리가 들으니 너희 가운데서 무질서하게 행하여 전혀 일하지 아니하고 참견 잘하는 자들이 있다 하니

12  Now¹¹⁶¹ them that are such⁵¹⁰⁸ we command³⁸⁵³ and²⁵³² exhort³⁸⁷⁰ by¹²²³ our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ that²⁴⁴³ with³³²⁶ quietness²²⁷¹ they work,²⁰³⁸ and eat²⁰⁶⁸ their own¹⁴³⁸ bread.⁷⁴⁰

12  이런 자들에게 우리가 명하고 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도G5547 안에서 권하기를 종용히 일하여 자기 양식을 먹으라 하노라

12  Now we command and exhort those who are such, by our Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.

12   이제 우리가 우리 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악을)를 통하여 이런 자들에게 명하고 권하노니 조용히 일하고 자기 양식을 먹으라.

13  But¹¹⁶¹ ye,⁵²¹⁰ brethren,⁸⁰ be not weary^{1573, 3361} in well doing.²⁵⁶⁹

13  형제들아 너희는 선을 행하다가 낙심치 말라

13  But you, brothers, do not be weary in well doing.

13  그러나 형제들아, 너희는 선을 행하다가 낙심하지 말라.

14  And¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ obey⁵²¹⁹ not³⁷⁵⁶ our²²⁵⁷ word³⁰⁵⁶ by¹²²³ this epistle,¹⁹⁹² note⁴⁵⁹³ that man,⁵¹²⁶ and²⁵³² have no company^{4874, 3361} with him,⁸⁴⁶ that²⁴⁴³ he may be ashamed.¹⁷⁸⁸

14  누가 이 편지에 한 우리 말을 순종치 아니하거든 그 사람을 지목하여 사귀지 말고 저로 하여금 부끄럽게 하라

14  And if anyone does not obey our word by this letter, mark that one and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

14  누구든지 이 편지에 쓴 우리의 말에 순종치 않거든 그를 주목하여 사귀지 말고 그로 하여금 부끄럽게 하라.

15  Yet²⁵³² count²²³³ him not³³⁶¹ as⁵⁶¹³ an enemy,²¹⁹⁰ but²³⁵ admonish³⁵⁶⁰ him as⁵⁶¹³ a brother.⁸⁰

15  그러나 원수와 같이 생각지 말고 형제같이 권하라

15  Yet do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

15  그러나 원수같이 여기지 말고 형제로서 권고하라.

16  Now¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² of peace¹⁵¹⁵ himself⁸⁴⁶ give¹³²⁵ you⁵²¹³ peace¹⁵¹⁵ always^{1223, 3956} by¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ means.⁵¹⁵⁸ The³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² be with³³²⁶ you⁵²¹⁶ all.³⁹⁵⁶

16  평강의 주께서G2962 친히 때마다 일마다 너희에게 평강을 주시기를 원하노라 주는G2962 너희 모든 사람과 함께 하실지어다

16  And may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.

16  화평의 주(아도나이)께서 친히 너희에게 항상 모든 일에 화평을 주시기를 원하노라. 주(아도나이)께서 너희 모두와 함께 하시기를 바라노라.

17  The³⁵⁸⁸ salutation⁷⁸³ of Paul³⁹⁷² with mine own¹⁶⁹⁹ hand,⁵⁴⁹⁵ which³⁷³⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ the token⁴⁵⁹² in¹⁷²² every³⁹⁵⁶ epistle:¹⁹⁹² so³⁷⁷⁹ I write.¹¹²⁵

17  나 바울은 친필로 문안하노니 이는 편지마다 표적이기로 이렇게 쓰노라

17  The greeting of Paul by my own hand which is the sign in every letter, so I write.

17    나 바울은 친필로 문안하노라. 이는 편지마다 표가 되므로 이렇게 쓰노라.

18  The³⁵⁸⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ be with³³²⁶ you⁵²¹⁶ all.³⁹⁵⁶ Amen.²⁸¹

18  우리 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도의G5547 은혜가 너희 무리에게 있을지어다

18  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

18 우리 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악)의 은혜가 너희 모두와 함께 있을지어다. 아멘.
