1  For¹⁰⁶³ the³⁵⁸⁸ law³⁵⁵¹ having²¹⁹² a shadow⁴⁶³⁹ of good things¹⁸ to come,³¹⁹⁵ and not³⁷⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ very⁸⁴⁶ image¹⁵⁰⁴ of the³⁵⁸⁸ things,⁴²²⁹ can¹⁴¹⁰ never³⁷⁶³ with those⁸⁴⁶ sacrifices²³⁷⁸ which³⁷³⁹ they offered⁴³⁷⁴ year by year^{2596, 1763} continually^{1519, 1336} make the comers thereunto perfect.^{5048, 3588, 4334}

1  율법은 장차 오는 좋은 일의 그림자요 참 형상이 아니므로 해마다 늘 드리는 바 같은 제사로는 나아오는 자들을 언제든지 온전케 할 수 없느니라

1  For the Law which has a shadow of good things to come, not the very image of the things, appearing year by year with the same sacrifices, which they offer continually, they are never able to perfect those drawing near.

1   율법에는 다가올 선한 것들의 그림자는 있으나 그것들의 형상 자체는 없으므로 그들이 해마다 계속해서 바치는 희생제물들로는 그 곳으로 나아오는 자들을 결코 온전케 할 수 없느니라.

2  For then¹⁸⁹³ would they not³⁷⁵⁶ have ceased^{3973, 302} to be offered?⁴³⁷⁴ because that the³⁵⁸⁸ worshipers³⁰⁰⁰ once⁵³⁰ purged²⁵⁰⁸ should have had²¹⁹² no more^{2089, 3367} conscience⁴⁸⁹³ of sins.²⁶⁶

2  그렇지 아니하면 섬기는 자들이 단번에 정결케 되어 다시 죄를 깨닫는 일이 없으리니 어찌 드리는 일을 그치지 아니하였으리요

2  For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Because the worshipers, when they had been once for all purged, would have had no more conscience of sin.

2   그랬더라면 그들이 제물 드리는 일을 그치지 아니하였겠느냐? 이는 경배드리는 자들이 단번에 정결케되면 죄들에 대한 의식이 더이상 없었을 것이기 때문이라.

3  But²³⁵ in¹⁷²² those⁸⁴⁶ sacrifices there is a remembrance again³⁶⁴ made of sins²⁶⁶ every year.^{2596, 1763}

3  그러나 이 제사들은 해마다 죄를 생각하게 하는 것이 있나니

3  But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again of sins every year.

3    그러나 이 희생제물들로 인하여 해마다 죄들을 다시 생각나게 하였나니

4  For¹⁰⁶³ it is not possible¹⁰² that the blood¹²⁹ of bulls⁵⁰²² and²⁵³² of goats⁵¹³¹ should take away⁸⁵¹ sins.²⁶⁶

4  이는 황소와 염소의 피가 능히 죄를 없이 하지 못함이라

4  For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

4  이는 황소들과 염소들의 피로는 죄들을 제거하는 것이 불가능하기 때문이라.

5  Wherefore¹³⁵² when he cometh¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ world,²⁸⁸⁹ he saith,³⁰⁰⁴ Sacrifice²³⁷⁸ and²⁵³² offering⁴³⁷⁶ thou wouldest²³⁰⁹ not,³⁷⁵⁶ but¹¹⁶¹ a body⁴⁹⁸³ hast thou prepared²⁶⁷⁵ me:³⁴²⁷

5  그러므로 세상에 임하실 때에 가라사대 하나님이 제사와 예물을 원치아니하시고 오직 나를 위하여 한 몸을 예비하셨도다

5  Therefore when He comes into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You have prepared a body for Me.

5  그러므로 그가 세상에 오실 때에 말씀하시기를 "주(그분)께서는 희생제물과 제물을 바라지 아니하시고 나를 위하여 한 몸을 예비하셨도다.

6  In burnt offerings³⁶⁴⁶ and²⁵³² sacrifices for⁴⁰¹² sin²⁶⁶ thou hast had no pleasure.^{2106, 3756}

6  전체로 번제함과 속죄제는 기뻐하지 아니하시나니

6  In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have had no pleasure.

6   주께서 죄로 인한 번제들과 희생제들은 기뻐하지 아니하셨으니

7  Then⁵¹¹⁹ said²⁰³⁶ I, Lo,²⁴⁰⁰ I come²²⁴⁰ (in¹⁷²² the volume²⁷⁷⁷ of the book⁹⁷⁵ it is written¹¹²⁵ of⁴⁰¹² me,) to¹⁷⁰⁰ do⁴¹⁶⁰ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ will,²³⁰⁷ O God.²³¹⁶

7  이에 내가 말하기를 하나님이여G2316 보시옵소서 두루마리 책에 나를 가리켜 기록한 것과 같이 하나님의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하시니라

7  Then I said, Lo, I come (in the volume of the Book it is written of Me) to do Your will, O God."

7    그때 내가 말씀드리기를 '오 하나님(엘로힘)이여, 보소서, (두루마리 책에 나에 관하여 기록한 것과 같이) 주(당신)의 뜻을 행하려고 내가 왔나이다.' 하였노라." 하셨도다.

8  Above⁵¹¹ when he said,³⁰⁰⁴ Sacrifice²³⁷⁸ and²⁵³² offering⁴³⁷⁴ and²⁵³² burnt offerings³⁶⁴⁶ and²⁵³² offering for⁴⁰¹² sin²⁶⁶ thou wouldest²³⁰⁹ not,³⁷⁵⁶ neither³⁷⁶¹ hadst pleasure²¹⁰⁶ therein; which³⁷⁴⁸ are offered⁴³⁷⁶ by²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ law;³⁵⁵¹

8  위에 말씀하시기를 제사와 예물과 전체로 번제함과 속죄제는 원치도 아니하고 기뻐하지도 아니하신다 하셨고(이는 다 율법을 따라 드리는 것이라)

8  Above, when He said, "Sacrifice and offering, and burnt offerings and offering for sin You did not desire, neither did You have pleasure in them" (which are offered according to the Law),

8    위에 말씀하시기를 희생제물과 예물과 번제들과 속죄제는 바라지도 아니하시고 기뻐하지도 아니하신다고 하셨으니, 이것들은 율법에 따라 드려진 것이라.

9  Then⁵¹¹⁹ said²⁰⁴⁶ he, Lo,²⁴⁰⁰ I come²²⁴⁰ to do⁴¹⁶⁰ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ will,²³⁰⁷ O God.²³¹⁶ He taketh away³³⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ first,⁴⁴¹³ that²⁴⁴³ he may establish²⁴⁷⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ second.¹²⁰⁸

9  그 후에 말씀하시기를 보시옵소서 내가 하나님(당신)의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하셨으니 그 첫 것을 폐하심은 둘째 것을 세우려 하심이니라

9  then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first so that He may establish the second.

9  그때에 말씀하시기를 "오 하나님이여, 보소서, 주(당신)의 뜻을 행하려고 내가 왔나이다." 하셨으니, 첫 번째 것을 폐하심은 두 번째 것을 세우려 하심이라.

10  By¹⁷²² the which³⁷³⁹ will²³⁰⁷ we are²⁰⁷⁰ sanctified³⁷ through¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ offering⁴³⁷⁶ of the³⁵⁸⁸ body⁴⁹⁸³ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ once²¹⁷⁸ for all.

10  이 뜻을 좇아 예수G2424 그리스도의G5547 몸을 단번에 드리심으로 말미암아 우리가 거룩함을 얻었노라

10  By this will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

10 그 뜻에 따라 한 번 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악H4899)의 몸을 드리심으로 우리가 거룩하게 된 것이라.

11  And²⁵³² every^{3956, (3303)} priest²⁴⁰⁹ standeth²⁴⁷⁶ daily^{2596, 2250} ministering³⁰⁰⁸ and²⁵³² offering⁴³⁷⁴ oftentimes⁴¹⁷⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ same⁸⁴⁶ sacrifices,²³⁷⁸ which³⁷⁴⁸ can¹⁴¹⁰ never³⁷⁶³ take away⁴⁰¹⁴ sins:²⁶⁶

11  제사장마다 매일 서서 섬기며 자주 같은 제사를 드리되 이 제사는 언제든지 죄를 없게 하지 못하거니와

11  And indeed every priest stands daily ministering and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

11  제사장마다 매일 서서 섬기며, 똑같은 제사를 자주 드리지만 이것으로써는 결코 죄들을 제거할 수 없으나

12  But¹¹⁶¹ this man,⁸⁴⁶ after he had offered⁴³⁷⁴ one³³⁹¹ sacrifice²³⁷⁸ for⁵²²⁸ sins²⁶⁶ forever,^{1519, 1336} sat down²⁵²³ on¹⁷²² the right hand¹¹⁸⁸ of God;²³¹⁶

12  오직 그리스도는 죄를 위하여 한 영원한 제사를 드리시고 하나님G2316 우편에 앉으사

12  But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right of God,

12   이분은 한 번의 속죄제를 영원히 드린 후 하나님(엘로힘)의 오른편에 앉으셔서

13  From henceforth³⁰⁶³ expecting¹⁵⁵¹ till²¹⁹³ his⁸⁴⁶ enemies²¹⁹⁰ be made⁵⁰⁸⁷ his footstool.^{5286, 846, 4228}

13  그 후에 자기 원수들로 자기 발등상이 되게 하실 때까지 기다리시나니

13  from then on expecting until His enemies are made His footstool.

13   그 후로는 그의 원수들을 자기 발판으로 삼으실 때까지 기다리시느니라.

14  For¹⁰⁶³ by one³³⁹¹ offering⁴³⁷⁶ he hath perfected⁵⁰⁴⁸ forever^{1519, 1336} them that are sanctified.³⁷

14  저가 한 제물로 거룩하게 된 자들을 영원히 온전케 하셨느니라

14  For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified.

14  이는 그가 한 번의 제사로써 거룩하게 된 자들을 영원히 온전케 하셨기 때문이라.

15  Whereof⁽¹¹⁶¹⁾ the³⁵⁸⁸ Holy⁴⁰ Ghost⁴¹⁵¹ also²⁵³² is a witness³¹⁴⁰ to us:²²⁵⁴ for¹⁰⁶³ after³³²⁶ that he had said before,⁴²⁸⁰

15  또한 성령이 우리에게 증거하시되

15  The Holy Spirit also is a witness to us; for after He had said before,

15   그것에 관하여 성령께서도 우리에게 증거자가 되셨으니, 이는 그 후에 그가 미리 말씀하시기를

16  This³⁷⁷⁸ is the³⁵⁸⁸ covenant¹²⁴² that³⁷³⁹ I will make¹³⁰³ with⁴³¹⁴ them⁸⁴⁶ after³³²⁶ those¹⁵⁶⁵ days,²²⁵⁰ saith³⁰⁰⁴ the Lord,²⁹⁶² I will put¹³²⁵ my³⁴⁵⁰ laws³⁵⁵¹ into¹⁹⁰⁹ their⁸⁴⁶ hearts,²⁵⁸⁸ and²⁵³² in¹⁹⁰⁹ their⁸⁴⁶ minds¹²⁷¹ will I write¹⁹²⁴ them;⁸⁴⁶

16  주께서G2962 가라사대 그 날 후로는 저희와 세울 언약이 이것이라 하시고 내 법을G3551 저희 마음에 두고 저희 생각에 기록하리라 하신후에

16  "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord; I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"

16    "그 날들 이후로 내가 그들과 세울 언약이 이것이라. 주(야훼)가 말하노라. 내가 나의 법들을 그들의 마음들 속에 두고 그들의 생각에 그 법들을 기록하리라.

17  And²⁵³² their⁸⁴⁶ sins²⁶⁶ and²⁵³² iniquities⁽⁴⁵⁸⁾ will I remember³⁴¹⁵ no more.^{3364, 2089}

17  또 저희 죄와 저희 불법을 내가 다시 기억지 아니하리라 하셨으니

17  also He adds, "their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more."

17  또 그들의 죄들과 불법들을 다시는 기억하지 아니하리라."고 하셨음이라.

18  Now¹¹⁶¹ where³⁶⁹⁹ remission⁸⁵⁹ of these⁵¹³⁰ is, there is no more³⁷⁶⁵ offering⁴³⁷⁶ for⁴⁰¹² sin.²⁶⁶

18  이것을 사하셨은즉 다시 죄를 위하여 제사 드릴 것이 없느니라

18  Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

18    이제 이것들을 용서하신 곳에는 더 이상 속죄제가 없느니라.

19  Having²¹⁹² therefore,³⁷⁶⁷ brethren,⁸⁰ boldness³⁹⁵⁴ to enter into^{1519, 1529} the³⁵⁸⁸ holiest³⁹ by¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ blood¹²⁹ of Jesus,²⁴²⁴

19  그러므로 형제들아 우리가 예수의G2424 피를 힘입어 성소에 들어갈 담력을 얻었나니

19  Therefore, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus,

19  그러므로 형제들아, 우리가 예수(야슈아)의 피로 인하여 담대하게 지성소에 들어가나니,

20  By a new⁴³⁷² and²⁵³² living²¹⁹⁸ way,³⁵⁹⁸ which³⁷³⁹ he hath consecrated¹⁴⁵⁷ for us,²²⁵⁴ through¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ veil,²⁶⁶⁵ that is to say,⁵¹²³ his⁸⁴⁸ flesh;⁴⁵⁶¹

20  그 길은 우리를 위하여 휘장G2665 가운데로 열어 놓으신 새롭고 산 길이요 휘장은 곧 저의 육체니라

20  by a new and living way which He has consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;

20 그가 우리를 위해 바치신 새롭고 살아 있는 길로, 휘장, 곧 그의 육체를 통하여 들어가느니라.

21  And²⁵³² having a high³¹⁷³ priest²⁴⁰⁹ over¹⁹⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ house³⁶²⁴ of God;²³¹⁶

21  또 하나님의 집 다스리는 큰 제사장이 계시매

21  and having a High Priest over the house of God,

21  또한 하나님의 집을 다스리는 대제사장이 계시니

22  Let us draw near⁴³³⁴ with³³²⁶ a true²²⁸ heart²⁵⁸⁸ in¹⁷²² full assurance⁴¹³⁶ of faith,⁴¹⁰² having our hearts²⁵⁸⁸ sprinkled⁴⁴⁷² from⁵⁷⁵ an evil⁴¹⁹⁰ conscience,⁴⁸⁹³ and²⁵³² our bodies⁴⁹⁸³ washed³⁰⁶⁸ with pure²⁵¹³ water.⁵²⁰⁴

22  우리가 마음에 뿌림을 받아 양심의 악을 깨닫고 몸을 맑은 물로 씻었으나 참 마음과 온전한 믿음으로 하나님께G2316 나아가자

22  let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies having been washed with pure water.

22   우리가 믿음의 온전한 확신 가운데서 진실한 마음으로 다가가자. 이는 우리의 마음은 악한 양심으로부터 피뿌림을 받았고 우리의 몸은 순수한 물로 씻겨졌기 때문이라.

23  Let us hold fast²⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ profession³⁶⁷¹ of our faith¹⁶⁸⁰ without wavering;¹⁸⁶ (for¹⁰⁶³ he is faithful⁴¹⁰³ that promised;)¹⁸⁶¹

23  또 약속하신 이는 미쁘시니 우리가 믿는 도리의 소망을 움직이지 말고 굳게 잡아

23  Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful who promised),

23  (약속하신 분은 신실하시니,) 우리 믿음의 고백을 흔들림 없이 굳게 붙들자.

24  And²⁵³² let us consider²⁶⁵⁷ one another²⁴⁰ to provoke unto^{1519, 3948} love²⁶ and²⁵³² to good²⁵⁷⁰ works:²⁰⁴¹

24  서로 돌아보아 사랑과 선행을 격려하며

24  and let us consider one another to provoke to love and to good works,

24  또 서로 생각하여 사랑과 선행을 격려하며

25  Not³³⁶¹ forsaking¹⁴⁵⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ assembling of ourselves together,^{1997, 1438} as²⁵³¹ the manner¹⁴⁸⁵ of some⁵¹⁰⁰ is; but²³⁵ exhorting³⁸⁷⁰ one another: and²⁵³² so much⁵¹¹⁸ the more,³¹²³ as³⁷⁴⁵ ye see⁹⁹¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ day²²⁵⁰ approaching.¹⁴⁴⁸

25  모이기를 폐하는 어떤 사람들의 습관과 같이 하지 말고 오직 권하여 그 날이 가까움을 볼수록 더욱 그리하자

25  not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

25    어떤 사람들의 습관처럼 우리 자신들이 함께 모이는 것을 저버리지 말고 서로 권면하여 그 날이 가까워 오는 것을 볼수록 더욱 그리하자.

26  For¹⁰⁶³ if we²²⁵⁷ sin²⁶⁴ willfully¹⁵⁹⁶ after that we have received²⁹⁸³ the³⁵⁸⁸ knowledge¹⁹²² of the³⁵⁸⁸ truth,²²⁵ there remaineth⁶²⁰ no more³⁷⁶⁵ sacrifice²³⁷⁸ for⁴⁰¹² sins,²⁶⁶

26  우리가 진리를 아는 지식을 받은 후 짐짓G1596 죄를 범한 즉 다시 속죄하는 제사가 없고

26  For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,

26    이는 우리가 진리의 지식을 받고 난 후에도 고의적으로 죄를 지으면 더 이상 죄들을 위한 희생제가 남아 있지 아니하고

27  But¹¹⁶¹ a certain⁵¹⁰⁰ fearful⁵³⁹⁸ looking for¹⁵⁶¹ of judgment²⁹²⁰ and²⁵³² fiery⁴⁴⁴² indignation,²²⁰⁵ which shall³¹⁹⁵ devour²⁰⁶⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ adversaries.⁵²²⁷

27  오직 무서운 마음으로 심판을 기다리는 것과 대적하는 자를 소멸할 맹렬한 불만 있으리라

27  but a certain fearful looking for judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

27   다만 대적하는 자들을 집어삼킬 심판과 맹렬한 분노를 두려운 마음으로 기다리는 것만 남아 있기 때문이라.

28  He⁵¹⁰⁰ that despised¹¹⁴ Moses'³⁴⁷⁵ law³⁵⁵¹ died⁵⁹⁹ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ mercy³⁶²⁸ under¹⁹⁰⁹ two¹⁴¹⁷ or²²²⁸ three⁵¹⁴⁰ witnesses:³¹⁴⁴

28  모세의 법을 폐한 자도 두 세 증인을 인하여 불쌍히 여김을 받지 못하고 죽었거든

28  He who despised Moses' Law died without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses.

28    모세의 율법을 경시한 자도 자비를 얻지 못하고 두세 증인의 증언으로 인하여 죽었거늘

29  Of how much⁴²¹⁴ sorer⁵⁵⁰¹ punishment,⁵⁰⁹⁸ suppose¹³⁸⁰ ye, shall he be thought worthy,⁵¹⁵ who hath trodden under foot²⁶⁶² the³⁵⁸⁸ Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² hath counted²²³³ the³⁵⁸⁸ blood¹²⁹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ covenant,¹²⁴² wherewith^{1722, 3739} he was sanctified,³⁷ an unholy thing,²⁸³⁹ and²⁵³² hath done despite¹⁷⁹⁶ unto the³⁵⁸⁸ Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of grace?⁵⁴⁸⁵

29  하물며 하나님G2316 아들을 밟고 자기를 거룩하게 한 언약의 피를 부정한 것으로 여기고 은혜의 성령을 욕되게 하는 자의 당연히 받을 형벌이 얼마나 더 중하겠느냐 너희는 생각하라

29  Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

29  하물며 하나님(엘로힘)의 아들을 짓밟고 또 자신을 거룩케 한 그 언약의 피를 거룩하지 아니한 것으로 간주하고, 또 그 은혜의 영을 모욕하는 자가 얼마나 더 심한 형벌을 받아야 마땅한지 생각하라.

30  For¹⁰⁶³ we know¹⁴⁹² him that hath said,²⁰³⁶ Vengeance¹⁵⁵⁷ belongeth unto me,¹⁶⁹⁸ I¹⁴⁷³ will recompense,⁴⁶⁷ saith³⁰⁰⁴ the Lord.²⁹⁶² And²⁵³² again,³⁸²⁵ The Lord²⁹⁶² shall judge²⁹¹⁹ his⁸⁴⁸ people.²⁹⁹²

30  원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라 하시고 또 다시 주께서G2962 그의 백성을 심판하리라 말씀하신 것을 우리가 아노니

30  For we know Him who has said, "Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, says the Lord." And again, "The Lord shall judge His people."

30   이는 "원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라. 주(야훼)가 말하노라." 또 다시 "주(야훼)께서 자기 백성을 심판하시리라."고 말씀하신 그 분을 우리가 알기 때문이니

31  It is a fearful thing⁵³⁹⁸ to fall¹⁷⁰⁶ into¹⁵¹⁹ the hands⁵⁴⁹⁵ of the living²¹⁹⁸ God.²³¹⁶

31  살아계신 하나님의G2316 손에 빠져 들어가는 것이 무서울진저

31  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

31  살아 계신 하나님(엘로힘)의 손 안으로 떨어지는 것은 두려운 일이라.

32  But¹¹⁶¹ call to remembrance³⁶³ the³⁵⁸⁸ former⁴³⁸⁶ days,²²⁵⁰ in¹⁷²² which,³⁷³⁹ after ye were illuminated,⁵⁴⁶¹ ye endured⁵²⁷⁸ a great⁴¹⁸³ fight¹¹⁹ of afflictions;³⁸⁰⁴

32  전날에 너희가 빛을 받은 후에 고난의 큰 싸움에 참은 것을 생각하라

32  But call to memory the former days, in which (after you were illuminated) you endured a great fight of afflictions,

32  너희가 빛을 받고 난 후, 고난의 큰 싸움을 견뎌 낸 지난 날들을 기억하라.

33  Partly,^{5124, 3303} whilst ye were made a gazingstock²³⁰¹ both⁵⁰³⁷ by reproaches³⁶⁸⁰ and²⁵³² afflictions;²³⁴⁷ and¹¹⁶¹ partly,⁵¹²⁴ whilst ye became¹⁰⁹⁶ companions²⁸⁴⁴ of them that were so used.^{390, 3779}

33  혹 비방과 환난으로써 사람에게 구경거리가 되고 혹 이런 형편에 있는 자들로 사귀는 자 되었으니

33  indeed being exposed both by reproaches and afflictions, and while you became companions of those who lived so.

33    너희는 간혹 비방과 고난을 당하여 사람들에게 구경거리가 되었고 또 그런 처지에 있는 자들과 동료가 되었으니

34  For¹⁰⁶³ ye had compassion^{4834, (2532)} of me in my³⁴⁵⁰ bonds,¹¹⁹⁹ and²⁵³² took⁴³²⁷ joyfully^{3326, 5479} the³⁵⁸⁸ spoiling⁷²⁴ of your⁵²¹⁶ goods,⁵²²⁴ knowing¹⁰⁹⁷ in¹⁷²² yourselves¹⁴³⁸ that ye have²¹⁹² in¹⁷²² heaven³⁷⁷² a better²⁹⁰⁹ and²⁵³² an enduring³³⁰⁶ substance.⁵²²³

34  너희가 갇힌 자를 동정하고 너희 산업을 빼앗기는 것도 기쁘게 당한 것은 더 낫고 영구한 산업이 있는 줄 앎이라

34  For you both sympathized with my bonds and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that you have in Heaven a better and an enduring substance.

34  너희가 갇혀 있는 나에게 연민을 갖고 또 너희의 재산을 빼앗기는 것도 기꺼이 당한 것은 하늘에 더 좋고 영구한 재산이 있음을 너희가 너희 안에서 앎이라.

35  Cast not away^{577, 3361} therefore³⁷⁶⁷ your⁵²¹⁶ confidence,³⁹⁵⁴ which³⁷⁴⁸ hath²¹⁹² great³¹⁷³ recompense of reward.³⁴⁰⁵

35  그러므로 너희 담대함을 버리지 말라 이것이 큰 상을 얻느니라

35  Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great recompense of reward.

35   그러므로 너희의 확신을 버리지 말라. 그리하면 큰 상이 있느니라.

36  For¹⁰⁶³ ye have²¹⁹² need⁵⁵³² of patience,⁵²⁸¹ that,²⁴⁴³ after ye have done⁴¹⁶⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ will²³⁰⁷ of God,²³¹⁶ ye might receive²⁸⁶⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ promise.¹⁸⁶⁰

36  너희에게 인내가 필요함은 너희가 하나님의G2316 뜻을 행한 후에 약속을 받기 위함이라

36  For you have need of patience, so that after you have done the will of God you might receive the promise.

36  너희에게 인내가 필요함은 너희가 하나님(엘로힘)의 뜻을 행한 후에 그 약속을 받기 위함이라.

37  For¹⁰⁶³ yet,²⁰⁸⁹ a little while,^{3397, 3745, 3745} and he that shall come²⁰⁶⁴ will come,²²⁴⁰ and²⁵³² will not³⁷⁵⁶ tarry.⁵⁵⁴⁹

37  잠시 잠간 후면 오실 이가 오시리니 지체하지 아니하시리라

37  For "yet a little while, and He who shall come will come and will not delay."

37  조금 있으면 오실 이가 오시리니 지체하지 아니하시리라.

38  Now¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ just¹³⁴² shall live²¹⁹⁸ by¹⁵³⁷ faith:⁴¹⁰² but²⁵³² if¹⁴³⁷ any man draw back,⁵²⁸⁸ my³⁴⁵⁰ soul⁵⁵⁹⁰ shall have no pleasure^{2106, 3756} in¹⁷²² him.⁸⁴⁶

38  오직 나의 의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라 또한 뒤로 물러가면 내 마음이 저를 기뻐하지 아니하리라 하셨느니라

38  Now, "the Just shall live by faith. But if he draws back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him."

38  이제 의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라. 그러나 누구라도 뒤로 물러나면 내 혼이 그를 기뻐하지 아니하리라.

39  But¹¹⁶¹ we²²⁴⁹ are²⁰⁷⁰ not³⁷⁵⁶ of them who draw back⁵²⁸⁹ unto¹⁵¹⁹ perdition;⁶⁸⁴ but²³⁵ of them that believe⁴¹⁰² to the saving^{1519, 4047} of the soul.⁵⁵⁹⁰

39  우리는 뒤로 물러가 침륜에 빠질 자가 아니요 오직 영혼을G5590 구원함에 이르는 믿음을 가진 자니라

39  But we are not of those withdrawing to destruction, but of those who believe to the preserving of the soul.

39  그러나 우리는 뒤로 물러나서 멸망하게 될 자들에게 속하지 아니하였고, 오히려 혼의 구원에 이름을 믿는 자들에게 속하였느니라.
