1  Follow after¹³⁷⁷ charity,²⁶ and¹¹⁶¹ desire²²⁰⁶ spiritual⁴¹⁵² gifts, but¹¹⁶¹ rather³¹²³ that²⁴⁴³ ye may prophesy.⁴³⁹⁵

1  사랑을(charity,G26) 따라 구하라( Follow afterG1377) 신령한 것을(spiritualG4152) 사모하되(desireG2206) (gifts, butG1161) 특별히( ratherG3123) 예언을 하려(ye may prophesy.G4395)고 하라(thatG2443)

1  Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

1  사랑을 추구하라. 영적인 은사들을 열망하되, 특별히 예언을 할 수 있도록 하라.

2  For¹⁰⁶³ he that speaketh²⁹⁸⁰ in an unknown tongue¹¹⁰⁰ speaketh²⁹⁸⁰ not³⁷⁵⁶ unto men,⁴⁴⁴ but²³⁵ unto God:²³¹⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ no man³⁷⁶² understandeth¹⁹¹ him; howbeit¹¹⁶¹ in the spirit⁴¹⁵¹ he speaketh²⁹⁸⁰ mysteries.³⁴⁶⁶

2  방언을(in an unknown tongueG1100) 말하는 자는 사람에게 하지 아니하고 하나님께G2316 하나니 이는 알아 듣는G191 자가 없고G3762 그 영으로G4151 비밀을G3466 말함이니라G2980

2  For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

2  알지 못하는 방언으로(in an unknown tongueG1100 ) 말하는 사람은 사람에게 말하지 아니하고 하나님(엘로힘G2316)께 하므로 아무도 알아듣지 못하니, 이는 그가 영으로 신비들을 말함이니라.

말하는 사람은:  고전_14:9-11, 고전_14:16, 고전_14:21, 고전_14:22; 창_11:7, 창_42:23; 신_28:49; 왕하_18:26; 행_2:4-11, 행_10:46; 행_19:6

3  But¹¹⁶¹ he that prophesieth⁴³⁹⁵ speaketh²⁹⁸⁰ unto men⁴⁴⁴ to edification,³⁶¹⁹ and²⁵³² exhortation,³⁸⁷⁴ and²⁵³² comfort.³⁸⁸⁹

3  그러나 예언하는 자는G4395 사람에게 말하여 덕을 세우며G3618 권면하며G3874 안위하는 것이요 G3889

3  But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

3  그러나 예언을 하는 사람은 사람들에게 말하며 세워 주고 권면하고 위로하느니라.

4  He that speaketh²⁹⁸⁰ in an unknown tongue¹¹⁰⁰ edifieth³⁶¹⁸ himself;¹⁴³⁸ but¹¹⁶¹ he that prophesieth⁴³⁹⁵ edifieth³⁶¹⁸ the church.¹⁵⁷⁷

4  방언을 말하는 자는자기의 덕을 세우고 예언하는 자는 교회의G1577 덕을 세우나니G3618

4  He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

4  알지 못하는 방언을G1100 말하는 사람은 자신을 세우나, 예언하는 사람은 교회를 세우느니라.

5  I⁽¹¹⁶¹⁾ would²³⁰⁹ that ye⁵²⁰⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ spake²⁹⁸⁰ with tongues,¹¹⁰⁰ but¹¹⁶¹ rather³¹²³ that²⁴⁴³ ye prophesied:⁴³⁹⁵ for¹⁰⁶³ greater³¹⁸⁷ is he that prophesieth⁴³⁹⁵ than²²²⁸ he that speaketh,²⁹⁸⁰ with tongues,¹¹⁰⁰ except^{1622, 1508} he interpret,¹³²⁹ that²⁴⁴³ the³⁵⁸⁸ church¹⁵⁷⁷ may receive²⁹⁸³ edifying.³⁶¹⁹

5  나는 너희가 다 방언 말하기를 원하나 특별히 예언하기를 원하노라 방언을 말하는 자가 만일 교회의 덕을 세우기 위하여 통역하지 G1329 아니하면 예언하는 자만 못하니라

5  I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh, with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

5 나는 너희 모두가 방언들로 말하기를 바라지만, 차라리 예언하기를 바라노라. 이는 방언들로 말하는 자가 통역을 하여 교회가 세움을 입지 못한다면, 예언하는 자가 더 낫기 때문이니라.

6  ⁽¹¹⁶¹⁾ Now,³⁵⁷⁰ brethren,⁸⁰ if¹⁴³⁷ I come²⁰⁶⁴ unto⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ speaking²⁹⁸⁰ with tongues,¹¹⁰⁰ what⁵¹⁰¹ shall I profit⁵⁶²³ you,⁵²⁰⁹ except³³⁶² I shall speak²⁹⁸⁰ to you⁵²¹³ either²²²⁸ by¹⁷²² revelation,⁶⁰² or²²²⁸ by¹⁷²² knowledge,¹¹⁰⁸ or²²²⁸ by¹⁷²² prophesying,⁴³⁹⁴ or²²²⁸ by¹⁷²² doctrine?¹³²²

6  그런즉 형제들아 내가 너희에게 나아가서 방언을 말하고 계시나 지식이나 예언이나 가르치는 것이나 말하지 아니하면 너희에게 무엇이 유익하리요

6  Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

6   그러므로 형제들아, 만일 내가 너희에게 가서 방언들로만 말하고, 계시로나 지식으로나 예언으로나 교리로 말하지 아니한다면 너희에게 무슨 유익을 주겠느냐?

7  And even³⁶⁷⁶ things without life⁸⁹⁵ giving¹³²⁵ sound,⁵⁴⁵⁶ whether¹⁵³⁵ pipe⁸³⁶ or¹⁵³⁵ harp,²⁷⁸⁸ except¹⁴³⁷ they give¹³²⁵ a⁽³³⁶¹⁾ distinction¹²⁹³ in the³⁵⁸⁸ sounds,⁵³⁵³ how⁴⁴⁵⁹ shall it be known¹⁰⁹⁷ what is piped⁸³² or²²²⁸ harped?²⁷⁸⁹

7  혹 저나 거문고와 같이 생명 없는 것이 소리를 낼 때에 그 음의 분별을 내지 아니하면 저 부는 것인지 거문고 타는 것인지 어찌 알게 되리요

7  And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?

7  피리나 하프같이 생명이 없는 것들일지라도 소리를 낼 때에 그 소리를 구별하지 아니하면 피리를 부는 것인지 하프를 타는 것인지 어떻게 알 수 있으리요?

8  For^{1063, (2532)} if¹⁴³⁷ the trumpet⁴⁵³⁶ give¹³²⁵ an uncertain⁸² sound,⁵⁴⁵⁶ who⁵¹⁰¹ shall prepare³⁹⁰³ himself to¹⁵¹⁹ the battle?⁴¹⁷¹

8  만일 나팔이 분명치 못한 소리를 내면 누가 전쟁을 예비하리요

8  For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

8  뿐만 아니라 만일 나팔이 불확실한 소리를 내면 누가 전쟁 준비를 하겠느냐?

9  So³⁷⁷⁹ likewise²⁵³² ye,⁵²¹⁰ except³³⁶² ye utter¹³²⁵ by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ tongue¹¹⁰⁰ words³⁰⁵⁶ easy to be understood,²¹⁵⁴ how⁴⁴⁵⁹ shall it be known¹⁰⁹⁷ what is spoken?²⁹⁸⁰ for¹⁰⁶³ ye shall speak^{2071, 2980} into¹⁵¹⁹ the air.¹⁰⁹

9  이와 같이 너희도 혀G1100로서 알아 듣기 쉬운G2154 말을 하지 아니하면 그 말하는 것을 어찌 알리요 이는 허공에다 말하는 것이라

9  So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

9  너희도 마찬가지라. 만일 너희가 방언으로 쉽게 알아 들을 수 없는 말을 한다면 무슨 말을 하는지 어떻게 알 수 있겠느냐? 이는 너희가 허공에다 말하고 있는 것이라.

10  There are,²⁰⁷⁶ it may be,^{1487, 5177} so many⁵¹¹⁸ kinds¹⁰⁸⁵ of voices⁵⁴⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² the world,²⁸⁸⁹ and²⁵³² none³⁷⁶² of them⁸⁴⁶ is without signification.⁸⁸⁰

10  세상에 소리의 종류가 이같이 많되 뜻 없는 소리는 없나니

10  There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

10  세상에 수많은 종류의 소리가 있을지라도 뜻 없는 소리는 하나도 없으니

11  Therefore³⁷⁶⁷ if¹⁴³⁷ I know¹⁴⁹² not³³⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ meaning¹⁴¹¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ voice,⁵⁴⁵⁶ I shall be²⁰⁷¹ unto him that speaketh²⁹⁸⁰ a barbarian,⁹¹⁵ and²⁵³² he that speaketh²⁹⁸⁰ shall be a barbarian⁹¹⁵ unto¹⁷²² me.¹⁶⁹⁸

11  그러므로 내가 그 소리의 뜻을 알지 못하면 내가 말하는 자에게 야만이G915 되고 말하는 자도 내게 야만이 되리니G915

11  Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.

11 그러므로 내가 그 소리의 뜻을 알지 못하면 말하는 그 사람에게 나는 야만인이 되고, 말하는 그 사람도 나에게 야만인이 되리라.

12  Even²⁵³² so³⁷⁷⁹ ye,⁵²¹⁰ forasmuch as¹⁸⁹³ ye are²⁰⁷⁵ zealous²²⁰⁷ of spiritual⁴¹⁵¹ gifts, seek²²¹² that²⁴⁴³ ye may excel⁴⁰⁵² to⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ edifying³⁶¹⁹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ church.¹⁵⁷⁷

12  그러면 너희도 신령한 것을 사모하는 자인즉 교회의 덕 세우기를 위하여 풍성하기를 구하라

12  Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

12  너희도 마찬가지라. 너희가 영적인 은사들을 열망한 이상 교회를 세우는 데 풍성하기를 구하라.

13  Wherefore¹³⁵⁵ let him that speaketh²⁹⁸⁰ in an unknown tongue¹¹⁰⁰ pray⁴³³⁶ that²⁴⁴³ he may interpret.¹³²⁹

13  그러므로 방언을 말하는 자는 통역하기를 기도할지니

13  Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

13   그러므로 알지 못하는 방언으로 말하는 사람은 통역할 수 있도록 기도해야 하리라.

14  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴³⁷ I pray⁴³³⁶ in an unknown tongue,¹¹⁰⁰ my³⁴⁵⁰ spirit⁴¹⁵¹ prayeth,⁴³³⁶ but¹¹⁶¹ my³⁴⁵⁰ understanding³⁵⁶³ is²⁰⁷⁶ unfruitful.¹⁷⁵

14  내가 만일 방언으로 기도하면 나의 영이 기도하거니와 나의 마음은 열매를 맺히지 못하리라

14  For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

14 만일 내가 알지 못하는 방언으로 기도하면 내 영은 기도하는 것이지만, 나의 지각은 열매를 맺지 못하리라.

15  What⁵¹⁰¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ it then?³⁷⁶⁷ I will pray⁴³³⁶ with the³⁵⁸⁸ spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ and¹¹⁶¹ I will pray⁴³³⁶ with the³⁵⁸⁸ understanding³⁵⁶³ also:²⁵³² I will sing⁵⁵⁶⁷ with the³⁵⁸⁸ spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ and¹¹⁶¹ I will sing⁵⁵⁶⁷ with the³⁵⁸⁸ understanding³⁵⁶³ also.²⁵³²

15  그러면 어떻게 할꼬 내가 영으로 기도하고 또 마음으로 기도하며 내가 영으로 찬미하고 또 마음으로 찬미하리라

15  What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

15  그러면 어찌하리요? 내가 영으로 기도하겠고 지각으로도 기도하겠으며, 내가 영으로 찬양하겠고 지각으로도 찬양하리라.

16  Else¹⁸⁹³ when¹⁴³⁷ thou shalt bless²¹²⁷ with the³⁵⁸⁸ spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ how⁴⁴⁵⁹ shall he that occupieth³⁷⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ room⁵¹¹⁷ of the³⁵⁸⁸ unlearned²³⁹⁹ say²⁰⁴⁶ Amen²⁸¹ at¹⁹⁰⁹ thy⁴⁶⁷⁴ giving of thanks,²¹⁶⁹ seeing¹⁸⁹⁴ he understandeth¹⁴⁹² not³⁷⁵⁶ what⁵¹⁰¹ thou sayest?³⁰⁰⁴

16  그렇지 아니하면 네가 영으로 축복할 때에 무식한(unlearnedG2399) 처지에 있는 자가 네가 무슨 말을 하는지 알지 못하고 네 감사에 어찌 아멘 하리요

16  Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

16 그렇지 않고 만일 네가 영으로 축복하면, 네가 말하는 것을 깨닫지 못한 채 자리에 앉아 있는 그 사람은 네가 무슨 말을 하는지 이해하지 못하는데 어떻게 너의 감사에 아멘 할 수 있으리요?

무식한:  고전_14:23, 고전_14:24; 사_29:12; 요_7:15; 행_4:13

17  For¹⁰⁶³ thou⁴⁷⁷¹ verily³³⁰³ givest thanks²¹⁶⁸ well,²⁵⁷³ but²³⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ other²⁰⁸⁷ is not³⁷⁵⁶ edified.³⁶¹⁸

17  너는 감사를 잘하였으나 그러나 다른 사람은 덕 세움을 받지 못하리라

17  For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

17  너는 감사를 잘 했으나 다른 사람은 세움을 입지 못한 것이라.

18  I thank²¹⁶⁸ my³⁴⁵⁰ God,²³¹⁶ I speak²⁹⁸⁰ with tongues¹¹⁰⁰ more³¹²³ than ye⁵²¹⁶ all:³⁹⁵⁶

18  내가 너희 모든 사람보다 방언을 더 말하므로 하나님께G2316 감사하노라

18  I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

18   내가 너희 모두보다 더 많은 방언들을 말하므로 하나님(엘로힘G2316)께 감사하노라.

19  Yet²³⁵ in¹⁷²² the church¹⁵⁷⁷ I had²³⁰⁹ rather speak²⁹⁸⁰ five⁴⁰⁰² words³⁰⁵⁶ with¹²²³ my³⁴⁵⁰ understanding,³⁵⁶³ that²⁴⁴³ by my voice I might teach²⁷²⁷ others²⁴³ also,²⁵³² than²²²⁸ ten thousand³⁴⁶³ words³⁰⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² an unknown tongue.¹¹⁰⁰

19  그러나 교회에서 네가 남을 가르치기 위하여 깨달은 마음으로 다섯 마디 말을 하는 것이 일만 마디 방언으로 말하는 것보다 나으니라

19  Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

19  그러나 교회 안에서는 일만 마디의 알지 못하는 방언으로 말하기보다는 차라리 나의 지각으로 다섯 마디 말을 하여 나의 말로 다른 사람들을 가르칠 수 있기를 원하노라.

20  Brethren,⁸⁰ be¹⁰⁹⁶ not³³⁶¹ children³⁸¹³ in understanding:⁵⁴²⁴ howbeit²³⁵ in malice²⁵⁴⁹ be ye children,³⁵¹⁵ but¹¹⁶¹ in understanding⁵⁴²⁴ be¹⁰⁹⁶ men.⁵⁰⁴⁶

20  형제들아 지혜에는 아이가 되지 말고 악에는 어린 아이가 되라 지혜에 장성한 사람이 되라

20  Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

20 형제들아, 깨닫는 데에는 어린 아이가 되지 말고, 악에는 어린 아이가 되더라도 깨닫는 데에는 어른이 되라.

21  In¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ law³⁵⁵¹ it is written,¹¹²⁵ With¹⁷²² men of other tongues²⁰⁸⁴ and²⁵³² other^{(1722), 2087} lips⁵⁴⁹¹ will I speak²⁹⁸⁰ unto this⁵¹²⁹ people;²⁹⁹² and²⁵³² yet for all that³⁷⁷⁹ will they not³⁷⁶¹ hear¹⁵²² me,³⁴⁵⁰ saith³⁰⁰⁴ the Lord.²⁹⁶²

21  율법에G3551기록된바G1125 주께서G2962 가라사대 내가 다른 방언하는 자G2084와 다른 입술로 이 백성에게 말할지라도 저희가 오히려 듣지 아니하리라 하였으니

21  In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

21  율법에 기록되기를 "주(야훼G2962)가 말하노라. 내가 이 백성에게 다른 방언들과 다른 입술들을 가진 사람들을 통해 말할 것이지만, 그들은 그 모든 것으로도 내게 듣지 않을 것이라."고 하였느니라.

22  Wherefore⁵⁶²⁰ tongues¹¹⁰⁰ are¹⁵²⁶ for¹⁵¹⁹ a sign,⁴⁵⁹² not³⁷⁵⁶ to them that believe,⁴¹⁰⁰ but²³⁵ to them that believe not:⁵⁷¹ but¹¹⁶¹ prophesying⁴³⁹⁴ serveth not³⁷⁵⁶ for them that believe not,⁵⁷¹ but²³⁵ for them which believe.⁴¹⁰⁰

22  그러므로 방언은G1100 믿는 자들을 위하지 않고 믿지 아니하는 자들을 위하는 표적G4592이나 예언은 믿지 아니하는 자들을 위하지 않고 믿는자들을 위함이니

22  Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

22  그러므로 방언들은 믿는 사람들을 위한 것이 아니라 믿지 않는 사람들을 위한 표적이지만, 예언은 믿지 않는 사람들을 위한 것이 아니고 믿는 사람들을 위한 것이라.

23  If¹⁴³⁷ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ whole³⁶⁵⁰ church¹⁵⁷⁷ be come together⁴⁹⁰⁵ into¹⁹⁰⁹ one place,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² all³⁹⁵⁶ speak²⁹⁸⁰ with tongues,¹¹⁰⁰ and¹¹⁶¹ there come in¹⁵²⁵ those that are unlearned,²³⁹⁹ or²²²⁸ unbelievers,⁵⁷¹ will they not³⁷⁵⁶ say²⁰⁴⁶ that³⁷⁵⁴ ye are mad?³¹⁰⁵

23  그러므로 온 교회가 함께 모여 다 방언으로 말하면 무식한 자들이나 믿지 아니하는 자들이 들어와서 너희를 미쳤다 하지 아니하겠느냐

23  If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

23  그러므로 만일 온 교회가 한 자리에 함께 모여 모두 방언들로 말을 하게 되면 배우지 못한 사람들이나 믿지 않는 사람들이 들어와서 너희가 미쳤다고 말하지 아니하겠느냐?

24  But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴³⁷ all³⁹⁵⁶ prophesy,⁴³⁹⁵ and¹¹⁶¹ there come in¹⁵²⁵ one⁵¹⁰⁰ that believeth not,⁵⁷¹ or²²²⁸ one unlearned,²³⁹⁹ he is convinced¹⁶⁵¹ of⁵²⁵⁹ all,³⁹⁵⁶ he is judged³⁵⁰ of⁵²⁵⁹ all:³⁹⁵⁶

24  그러나 다 예언을 하면 믿지 아니하는 자들이나 무식한 자들이 들어와서 모든 사람에게 책망을 들으며 모든 사람에게 판단을 받고

24  But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:

24  그러나 만일 모두 예언할 때 믿지 않는 사람이나 배우지 못한 사람이 들어오게 되면 그는 모든 사람에 의해 양심의 가책을 받고 모든 사람으로부터 판단을 받으리니

25  And²⁵³² thus³⁷⁷⁹ are the³⁵⁸⁸ secrets²⁹²⁷ of his⁸⁴⁸ heart²⁵⁸⁸ made¹⁰⁹⁶ manifest;⁵³¹⁸ and²⁵³² so³⁷⁷⁹ falling down⁴⁰⁹⁸ on¹⁹⁰⁹ his face⁴³⁸³ he will worship⁴³⁵² God,²³¹⁶ and report⁵¹⁸ that³⁷⁵⁴ God²³¹⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ of a truth.³⁶⁸⁹

25  그 마음의 숨은 일이 드러나게 되므로 엎드리어 하나님께G2316 경배하며 G4352하나님이G2316 참으로 너희 가운데 계시다 전파하리라

25  And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

25   그러면 그의 마음의 은밀한 것들이 드러나게 되어 그가 얼굴을 땅에 대고 하나님(엘로힘)께 경배하며 하나님(엘로힘)께서 참으로 너희 가운데 계시다고 선언하리라.

26  How⁵¹⁰¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ it then,³⁷⁶⁷ brethren?⁸⁰ when³⁷⁵² ye come together,⁴⁹⁰⁵ every one¹⁵³⁸ of you⁵²¹⁶ hath²¹⁹² a psalm,⁵⁵⁶⁸ hath²¹⁹² a doctrine,¹³²² hath²¹⁹² a tongue,¹¹⁰⁰ hath²¹⁹² a revelation,⁶⁰² hath²¹⁹² an interpretation.²⁰⁵⁸ Let all things³⁹⁵⁶ be done¹⁰⁹⁶ unto⁴³¹⁴ edifying.³⁶¹⁹

26  그런즉 형제들아 어찌할꼬 너희가 모일 때에 각각 찬송시도 있으며 가르치는 말씀도 있으며 계시도 있으며 방언도 있으며 통역함도 있나니 모든 것을 덕을 세우기 위하여 하라

26  How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

26  형제들아, 그러면 어떻게 해야 하겠느냐? 너희가 함께 모일 때에 너희 각자에게 시도 있고, 교리도 있으며, 방언도 있고, 계시도 있으며, 통역도 있으니, 모든 것을 세우기 위하여 하라.

27  If¹⁵³⁵ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ speak²⁹⁸⁰ in an unknown tongue,¹¹⁰⁰ let it be by²⁵⁹⁶ two,¹⁴¹⁷ or²²²⁸ at the³⁵⁸⁸ most⁴¹¹⁸ by three,⁵¹⁴⁰ and²⁵³² that by³⁰³ course;³³¹³ and²⁵³² let one¹⁵²⁰ interpret.¹³²⁹

27  만일 누가 방언으로 말하거든 두 사람이나 다불과 세 사람이 차서를 따라 하고 한 사람이 통역할 것이요G1329

27  If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

27   누가 알지 못하는 방언으로 말하려면 두 사람이나 많아도 세 사람이 차례로 하고 한 사람은 통역하라.

28  But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴³⁷ there be⁵⁶⁰⁰ no³³⁶¹ interpreter,¹³²⁸ let him keep silence⁴⁶⁰¹ in¹⁷²² the church;¹⁵⁷⁷ and¹¹⁶¹ let him speak²⁹⁸⁰ to himself,¹⁴³⁸ and²⁵³² to God.²³¹⁶

28  만일 통역하는 자가G1328 없거든 교회에서는 잠잠하고(let him keep silenceG4601) 자기와 및 하나님께G2316 말할 것이요

28  But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

28  그러나 만일 통역하는 자가 없거든 교회에서는 조용히 하고 자신과 하나님(엘로힘)께만 말하라.

29  Let⁽¹¹⁶¹⁾ the prophets⁴³⁹⁶ speak²⁹⁸⁰ two¹⁴¹⁷ or²²²⁸ three,⁵¹⁴⁰ and²⁵³² let the³⁵⁸⁸ other²⁴³ judge.¹²⁵²

29  예언하는 자는 둘이나 셋이나 말하고 다른 이들은 분변할 것이요G1252

29  Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

29  또 예언하는 사람은 둘이나 셋이서 말하고 다른 사람들은 판단하라.

30  ⁽¹¹⁶¹⁾ If¹⁴³⁷ any thing be revealed⁶⁰¹ to another²⁴³ that sitteth by,²⁵²¹ let the³⁵⁸⁸ first⁴⁴¹³ hold his peace.⁴⁶⁰¹

30  만일 곁에 앉은 다른이에게 계시가 있거든 먼저 하던 자는 잠잠할찌니라G4601

30  If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

30  그러나 곁에 앉아 있는 다른 사람에게 계시가 있거든 먼저 하던 사람은 조용히 하라.

31  For¹⁰⁶³ ye may¹⁴¹⁰ all³⁹⁵⁶ prophesy⁴³⁹⁵ one by one,^{2596, 1520} that²⁴⁴³ all³⁹⁵⁶ may learn,³¹²⁹ and²⁵³² all³⁹⁵⁶ may be comforted.³⁸⁷⁰

31  너희는 다 모든 사람으로 배우게 하고 모든 사람으로 권면을 받게 하기 위하여 하나씩 하나씩 예언할 수 있느니라

31  For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

31  너희는 모두 한 사람씩 예언할 수 있나니 모두 배우게 하고 모두 위로받게 하려 함이라.

32  And²⁵³² the spirits⁴¹⁵¹ of the prophets⁴³⁹⁶ are subject⁵²⁹³ to the prophets.⁴³⁹⁶

32  And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

32  예언하는 사람들의 영들은 예언하는 사람들에게 복종하나니

33  For¹⁰⁶³ God²³¹⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ the author of confusion,¹⁸¹ but²³⁵ of peace,¹⁵¹⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ in¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ churches¹⁵⁷⁷ of the³⁵⁸⁸ saints.⁴⁰

33  하나님은G2316 어지러움의 하나님이(the author of confusion,G181) 아니G3756시요 오직 화평의 하나님이시니라(of peace,G1515)

33  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

33  이는 성도들의 모든 교회에서와 같이 하나님(엘로힘)은 혼란의 창시자가 아니라 화평의 창시자이심이라.

34  Let your⁵²¹⁶ women¹¹³⁵ keep silence⁴⁶⁰¹ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ churches:¹⁵⁷⁷ for¹⁰⁶³ it is not³⁷⁵⁶ permitted²⁰¹⁰ unto them⁸⁴⁶ to speak;²⁹⁸⁰ but²³⁵ they are commanded to be under obedience,⁵²⁹³ as²⁵³¹ also²⁵³² saith³⁰⁰⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ law.³⁵⁵¹

34  모든 성도의 교회에서 함과 같이 여자는G1135  교회에서 잠잠하라G4601 저희의 말하는 것을 허락함이G2010 없나니 율법에 이른 것 같이 오직 복종할 것이요

34  Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

34  너희의 여자들을 교회 안에서 조용히 하게 하라. 그들이 말하는 것이 허락되지 아니하였으니 율법에서도 말한 것과 같이 다만 복종할지니라.

35  And¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ they will²³⁰⁹ learn³¹²⁹ any thing,⁵¹⁰⁰ let them ask¹⁹⁰⁵ their²³⁹⁸ husbands⁴³⁵ at¹⁷²² home:³⁶²⁴ for¹⁰⁶³ it is²⁰⁷⁶ a shame¹⁴⁹ for women¹¹³⁵ to speak²⁹⁸⁰ in¹⁷²² the church.¹⁵⁷⁷

35  만일 무엇을 배우려거든 집에서 자기 남편에게 물을지니 여자가 교회에서 말하는 것은 부끄러운 것임이라

35  And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

35  그러나 만일 그들이 무엇을 배우고 싶어하면 집에서 자기 남편들에게 물을지니라. 이는 여자들이 교회 안에서 말하는 것은 수치임이니라.

36  What?²²²⁸ came¹⁸³¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ word³⁰⁵⁶ of God²³¹⁶ out from⁵⁷⁵ you?⁵²¹⁶ or²²²⁸ came²⁶⁵⁸ it unto¹⁵¹⁹ you⁵²⁰⁹ only?³⁴⁴¹

36  하나님의G2316 말씀이 너희에게로부터 난 것이냐 또는 너희에게만 임한 것이냐

36  What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

36  하나님(엘로힘)의 말씀이 너희에게서 나왔느냐? 아니면 너희에게만 이르렀느냐?

37  If any man¹⁵³⁶ think himself¹³⁸⁰ to be¹⁵¹¹ a prophet,⁴³⁹⁶ or²²²⁸ spiritual,⁴¹⁵² let him acknowledge¹⁹²¹ that³⁷⁵⁴ the things that³⁷³⁹ I write¹¹²⁵ unto you⁵²¹³ are¹⁵²⁶ the commandments¹⁷⁸⁵ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord.²⁹⁶²

37  만일 누구든지 자기를 선지자나 혹 신령한 자로 생각하거든 내가 너희에게 편지한 것이 주의G2962 명령인줄 알라

37  If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

37   만일 누구든지 자기를 선지자나 영적인 사람으로 생각한다면, 내가 너희에게 쓰는 글들이 주(야훼)의 명령들임을 인식해야 할 것이라.

38  But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ be ignorant,⁵⁰ let him be ignorant.⁵⁰

38  만일 누구든지 알지 못하면 그는 알지 못한 자니라

38  But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

38  그러나 누구든지 무지하다면, 무지하게 내버려 두라.

39  Wherefore,⁵⁶²⁰ brethren,⁸⁰ covet²²⁰⁶ to prophesy,⁴³⁹⁵ and²⁵³² forbid²⁹⁶⁷ not³³⁶¹ to speak²⁹⁸⁰ with tongues.¹¹⁰⁰

39  그런즉 내 형제들아 예언하기를 사모하며 방언 말하기를 금하지 말라

39  Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

39  그러므로 형제들아, 예언하기를 열망하고 방언들로 말하는 것을 금하지 말라.

40  Let all things³⁹⁵⁶ be done¹⁰⁹⁶ decently²¹⁵⁶ and²⁵³² in²⁵⁹⁶ order.⁵⁰¹⁰

40  모든 것을 적당하게 하고G2156 질서G5010대로 하라

40  Let all things be done decently and in order.

40  모든 일을 품위있게 하고 또 질서있게 하라.
