1  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia.

1  하나님(야훼)의 뜻에 따라 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악H4899)의 사도 된 바울과 우리 형제 디모데는 고린도에 있는 하나님(엘로힘)의 교회와 온 아카야에 있는 모든 성도에게 편지하노니,

2  Grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ be to you⁵²¹³ and²⁵³² peace¹⁵¹⁵ from⁵⁷⁵ God²³¹⁶ our²²⁵⁷ Father,³⁹⁶² and²⁵³² from the Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

2  하나님G2316 우리G2257아버지G3962와 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도로G5547 좇아 은혜G5548와 평강이G1515 있기를 원하노라

2  Grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

2  하나님(야훼) 우리 아버지와 주(아도나이H136) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(마쉬악)로부터 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있기를 바라노라.

3  Blessed²¹²⁸ be God,²³¹⁶ even²⁵³² the Father³⁹⁶² of our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ Father³⁹⁶² of mercies,³⁶²⁸ and²⁵³² the God²³¹⁶ of all³⁹⁵⁶ comfort;³⁸⁷⁴

3  찬송하리로다G2128 그는 우리 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도의G5547 하나님이시요G2316 자비의G3628 아버지시요G3962 모든 위로의G3874 하나님이시며G2316

3  Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort,

3   하나님(엘로힘)을 송축하리로다. 그는 우리 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악)의 아버지시요, 자비의 아버지시요, 모든 위로의 하나님(엘로힘)이시며

4  Who³⁵⁸⁸ comforteth³⁸⁷⁰ us²²⁴⁸ in¹⁹⁰⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ our²²⁵⁷ tribulation,²³⁴⁷ that we²²⁴⁸ may be able¹⁴¹⁰ to comfort³⁸⁷⁰ them³⁵⁸⁸ which are in¹⁷²² any³⁹⁵⁶ trouble,²³⁴⁷ by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ comfort³⁸⁷⁴ wherewith³⁷³⁹ we⁸⁴⁸ ourselves are comforted³⁸⁷⁰ of⁵²⁵⁹ God.²³¹⁶

4  우리의 모든 환난G2347 중에서 우리를 위로하사G3870 우리로 하여금 하나님께G2316 받는 위로로써 모든 환난 중에 있는 자들을 능히 위로하게 하시는 이시로다

4  He comforting us in all our trouble, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in every trouble, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

4   우리의 모든 환난 가운데서 우리를 위로하시는 분이시라. 그러므로 우리 자신이 하나님(엘로힘)께 받은 위로로써 어떠한 고난중에 있는 사람들도 위로할 수 있는 것이라.

5  For³⁷⁵⁴ as²⁵³¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ sufferings³⁸⁰⁴ of Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ abound⁴⁰⁵² in¹⁵¹⁹ us,²²⁴⁸ so³⁷⁷⁹ our²²⁵⁷ consolation³⁸⁷⁴ also²⁵³² aboundeth⁴⁰⁵² by¹²²³ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

5  그리스도의G5547 고난이G3804 우리에게 넘친것 같이 우리의 위로도 그리스도로G5547 말미암아 넘치는도다

5  For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ.

5 이는 그리스도(마쉬악)의 고통이 우리에게 넘친 것같이 우리의 위로도 그리스도(마쉬악)로 말미암아 넘치기 때문이라.

것같이:  고후_4:10,고후_4:11, 고후_11:23-30; 고전_4:10-13; 빌_1:20, 빌_3:10; 골_1:24

6  And¹¹⁶¹ whether¹⁵³⁵ we be afflicted,²³⁴⁶ it is for⁵²²⁸ your⁵²¹⁶ consolation³⁸⁷⁴ and²⁵³² salvation,⁴⁹⁹¹ which is effectual¹⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² the enduring⁵²⁸¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ same⁸⁴⁶ sufferings³⁸⁰⁴ which³⁷³⁹ we²²⁴⁹ also²⁵³² suffer:³⁹⁵⁸ or whether¹⁵³⁵ we be comforted,³⁸⁷⁰ it is for⁵²²⁸ your⁵²¹⁶ consolation³⁸⁷⁴ and²⁵³² salvation.⁴⁹⁹¹

6  우리가 환난 받는 것도 너희의 위로와 구원을G4991 위함이요 혹 위로 받는 것도 너희의 위로를 위함이니 이 위로가 너희 속에 역사하여 우리가 받는것 같은 고난을 너희도 견디게 하느니라

6  And if we are troubled, it is for your consolation and salvation, being worked out in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer; if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

6  우리가 고난을 당하여도 너희의 위로와 구원을 위함이니, 그것들은 또한 우리가 겪는 동일한 고난을 잘 견딜 수 있게 해 주는 것이요, 혹 우리가 위로를 받아도 너희의 위로와 구원을 위한 것이라.

7  And²⁵³² our²²⁵⁷ hope¹⁶⁸⁰ of⁵²²⁸ you⁵²¹⁶ is steadfast,⁹⁴⁹ knowing,¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ as⁵⁶¹⁸ ye are²⁰⁷⁵ partakers²⁸⁴⁴ of the³⁵⁸⁸ sufferings,³⁸⁰⁴ so³⁷⁷⁹ shall ye be also²⁵³² of the³⁵⁸⁸ consolation.³⁸⁷⁴

7  너희를 위한 우리의 소망이 견고함은 너희가 고난에 참예하는 자가 된것 같이 위로에도 그러할 줄을 앎이라

7  And our hope of you is certain, knowing that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also of the consolation.

7  너희에 대한 우리의 소망이 확고함은 너희가 고난에 참여하는 자가 된 것같이 너희가 또한 위로에도 그러한 줄 우리가 앎이라.

8  For¹⁰⁶³ we would²³⁰⁹ not,³⁷⁵⁶ brethren,⁸⁰ have you ignorant^{50, 5209} of⁵²²⁸ our²²⁵⁷ trouble²³⁴⁷ which came¹⁰⁹⁶ to us²²⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² Asia,⁷⁷³ that³⁷⁵⁴ we were pressed⁹¹⁶ out of measure,^{2596, 5236} above⁵²²⁸ strength,¹⁴¹¹ insomuch that⁵⁶²⁰ we²²⁴⁸ despaired¹⁸²⁰ even²⁵³² of life:²¹⁹⁸

8  형제들아 우리가 아시아에서 당한 환난을 너희가 알지 못하기를 원치 아니하노니 힘에G1411  지나도록 심한(out of measure,G2596, G5236 ) 고생을G916  받아 살 소망G2198까지 끊어지고G1820

8  For, brothers, we would not have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength; so much so that we despaired even of life.

8  형제들아, 아시아에서 우리에게 닥쳤던 고난을 너희가 모르기를 원치 아니하노니, 이는 우리가 받은 극심한 압박으로 인하여 견딜 힘을 잃어 심지어는 삶의 절망에까지 이른 것이라.

9  But²³⁵ we⁸⁴⁸ had²¹⁹² the³⁵⁸⁸ sentence⁶¹⁰ of death²²⁸⁸ in¹⁷²² ourselves,¹⁴³⁸ that²⁴⁴³ we should⁵⁶⁰⁰ not³³⁶¹ trust³⁹⁸² in¹⁹⁰⁹ ourselves,¹⁴³⁸ but²³⁵ in¹⁹⁰⁹ God²³¹⁶ which raiseth¹⁴⁵³ the³⁵⁸⁸ dead:³⁴⁹⁸

9  우리 마음에 사형G2288 선고를G610 받은 줄 알았으니 이는 우리로 자기를 의뢰G3982하지 말고 오직 죽은 자를G3498 다시 살리시는G1453 하나님만G2316 의뢰하게 하심이라

9  But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, so that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead;

9  우리는 우리 자신 속에 사형 선고를 받았으니 이는 우리로 우리 자신을 신뢰하지 아니하고 죽은 자들을 살리시는 하나님(엘로힘)만을 신뢰하게 하려 함이라.

10  Who³⁷³⁹ delivered⁴⁵⁰⁶ us²²⁴⁸ from¹⁵³⁷ so great⁵⁰⁸² a death,²²⁸⁸ and²⁵³² doth deliver:⁴⁵⁰⁶ in¹⁵¹⁹ whom³⁷³⁹ we trust¹⁶⁷⁹ that³⁷⁵⁴ he will⁽²⁵³²⁾ yet²⁰⁸⁹ deliver⁴⁵⁰⁶ us;

10  그가 이같이 큰 사망G2288에서 우리를 건지셨고G4506 또 건지시리라G4506 또한 이후에라도 건지시기를G4506 그를 의지하여 바라노라

10  who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver; in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us,

10 그 분께서 우리를 그처럼 극심한 사망에서 구해 내셨으며 또 구해 내고 계시니, 그 분께서 여전히 우리를 구해 내 주실 것이라는 소망을 그 분 안에 가지고 있노라.

11  Ye⁵²¹⁶ also²⁵³² helping together⁴⁹⁴³ by prayer¹¹⁶² for⁵²²⁸ us,²²⁵⁷ that²⁴⁴³ for the gift⁵⁴⁸⁶ bestowed upon¹⁵¹⁹ us²²⁴⁸ by the means of¹⁵³⁷ many⁴¹⁸³ persons⁴³⁸³ thanks may be given²¹⁶⁸ by¹²²³ many⁴¹⁸³ on our behalf.^{5228, 2257}

11  너희도 우리를 위하여 간구함으로G1162  도우라G4943 이는 우리가 많은 사람의 기도로 얻은 은사를 인하여 많은 사람도 우리를 위하여 감사하게 하려 함이라

11  with you also helping together by prayer for us, so that the gracious gift by many persons be the cause of thanksgiving through many for us.

11  너희도 우리를 위하여 기도로 협력하라. 이는 많은 사람으로 인해 우리에게 내린 은사에 대하여 우리를 대신하여 많은 사람이 감사하게 하려 함이라.

12  For¹⁰⁶³ our²²⁵⁷ rejoicing²⁷⁴⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ this,³⁷⁷⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ testimony³¹⁴² of our²²⁵⁷ conscience,⁴⁸⁹³ that³⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² simplicity⁵⁷² and²⁵³² godly²³¹⁶ sincerity,¹⁵⁰⁵ not³⁷⁵⁶ with¹⁷²² fleshly⁴⁵⁵⁹ wisdom,⁴⁶⁷⁸ but²³⁵ by¹⁷²² the grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of God,²³¹⁶ we have had our conversation³⁹⁰ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ world,²⁸⁸⁹ and¹¹⁶¹ more abundantly⁴⁰⁵⁶ to⁴³¹⁴ you-ward.⁵²⁰⁹

12  우리가 세상에서 특별히 너희에게 대하여 하나님의G2316 거룩함과 진실함으로써 하되 육체의 지혜G4678로 하지 아니하고 하나님의G2316 은혜로 행함은 우리 양심의 증거하는 바니 이것이 우리의 자랑이라

12  For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity; not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God; we have had our conduct in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

12   우리의 자랑이 이것이니 우리의 양심의 증거라. 이는 우리가 진지함과 경건한 성실함으로 하되 육신의 지혜가 아닌 하나님(야훼)의 은혜로 세상에서 행하고 또 너희를 위하여 보다 풍성히 행한 것이라.

13  For¹⁰⁶³ we write¹¹²⁵ none³⁷⁵⁶ other things²⁴³ unto you,⁵²¹³ than^{235, 2228} what³⁷³⁹ ye read³¹⁴ or^{2228, (2532)} acknowledge;¹⁹²¹ and¹¹⁶¹ I trust¹⁶⁷⁹ ye shall⁽³⁷⁵⁴⁾ acknowledge¹⁹²¹ even²⁵³² to²¹⁹³ the end;⁵⁰⁵⁶

13  오직 너희가 읽고 아는 것 외에 우리가 다른 것을 쓰지 아니하노니 너희가 끝까지 알기를 내가 바라는 것은

13  For we write no other things to you than what you read or recognize, and I trust you shall recognize them even to the end,

13   우리는 너희가 읽는 것이나 아는 것 외에 다른 것을 너희에게 쓰지 아니하노니, 따라서 나는 너희가 끝까지 알기를 바라노라.

14  As²⁵³¹ also²⁵³² ye have acknowledged¹⁹²¹ us²²⁴⁸ in⁵⁷⁵ part,³³¹³ that³⁷⁵⁴ we are²⁰⁷⁰ your⁵²¹⁶ rejoicing,²⁷⁴⁵ even as²⁵⁰⁹ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² are ours²²⁵⁷ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ day²²⁵⁰ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus.²⁴²⁴

14  너희가 대강 우리를 아는것 같이 우리 주 예수의 날에 너희가 우리의 자랑이 되고 우리가 너희의 자랑이 되는 것이라

14  even as you have recognized us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as you also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

14  너희가 또한 부분적으로 우리를 아는 것같이, 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아)의 날에 너희도 우리의 기쁨이 되듯이 우리가 너희의 기쁨이 되려 함이라.

15  And²⁵³² in this⁵⁰²⁶ confidence⁴⁰⁰⁶ I was minded¹⁰¹⁴ to come²⁰⁶⁴ unto⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ before,⁴³⁸⁶ that²⁴⁴³ ye might have²¹⁹² a second¹²⁰⁸ benefit;⁵⁴⁸⁵

15  내가 이 확신을 가지고 너희로 두번 은혜를G5485 얻게 하기 위하여 먼저 너희에게 이르렀다가

15  And in this confidence I intended to come to you before, so that you might have a second benefit,

15  그리하여 나는 이러한 확신을 가지고 전에 너희에게 가려고 하였으니, 이는 너희로 두 번째 호의를 얻게 하려 함이며

16  And²⁵³² to pass¹³³⁰ by¹²²³ you⁵²¹⁶ into¹⁵¹⁹ Macedonia,³¹⁰⁹ and²⁵³² to come²⁰⁶⁴ again³⁸²⁵ out of⁵⁷⁵ Macedonia³¹⁰⁹ unto⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ and²⁵³² of⁵²⁵⁹ you⁵²¹⁶ to be brought on my way⁴³¹¹ toward¹⁵¹⁹ Judea.²⁴⁴⁹

16  너희를 지나 마게도냐G3109에 갔다가 다시 마게도냐에서 너희에게 가서 너희가 보내줌으로 유대로 가기를 경영하였으니

16  and to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia to you, and to be brought on my way toward Judea by you.

16  또 너희를 지나 마케도니아로 갔다가 다시 마케도니아로부터 너희에게로 오면, 너희가 나를 유대로 보내 줄 것으로 계획하였노라.

17  When I therefore³⁷⁶⁷ was thus minded,^{1011, 5124} did I^{(3385, 686)} use⁵⁵³⁰ lightness?¹⁶⁴⁴ or²²²⁸ the things that³⁷³⁹ I purpose,¹⁰¹¹ do I purpose¹⁰¹¹ according²⁵⁹⁶ to the flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ that²⁴⁴³ with³⁸⁴⁴ me¹⁶⁹⁸ there should be⁵⁶⁰⁰ yea³⁴⁸³ yea,³⁴⁸³ and²⁵³² nay³⁷⁵⁶ nay?³⁷⁵⁶

17  "이렇게 경영할 때에 어찌 경홀히 하였으리요 혹 경영하기를 육체를 좇아 경영하여 예, 예 하고 아니, 아니라 하는 일이 내게 있었겠느냐"

17  Then purposing this, did I indeed use lightness? Or the things that I purpose, do I purpose them according to the flesh, so that with me there should be yes, yes, and no, no?

17  그러므로 이 일을 계획함에 있어서 정녕 내가 경솔히 행하였겠느냐? 아니면 내가 계획을 세울 때에 육신을 따라 세웠겠느냐? 그리하여 '예', '예'나 '아니오', '아니오' 하는 일이 내게 있어야 하겠느냐?

18  But¹¹⁶¹ as God²³¹⁶ is true,^{4103, (3754)} our²²⁵⁷ word³⁰⁵⁶ toward⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ was¹⁰⁹⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ yea and nay.^{3483, 2532, 3756}

18  하나님은G2316 미쁘시니라G4103 우리가 너희에게 한 말은 예 하고 아니라 함이 없노라

18  But as God is true, our word toward you was not yes and no.

18   그러나 하나님(엘로힘)께서 참되신 것같이 우리가 너희에게 한 말도 '예'와 '아니오'가 아니었노라.

19  For¹⁰⁶³ the³⁵⁸⁸ Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God,²³¹⁶ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ who was preached²⁷⁸⁴ among¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ by¹²²³ us,²²⁵⁷ even by¹²²³ me¹⁷⁰⁰ and²⁵³² Silvanus⁴⁶¹⁰ and²⁵³² Timothy,⁵⁰⁹⁵ was¹⁰⁹⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ yea and nay,^{3483, 2532, 3756} but²³⁵ in¹⁷²² him⁸⁴⁶ was¹⁰⁹⁶ yea.³⁴⁸³

19  우리 곧 나와 실루아노G4610와 디모데로G5095 말미암아 너희 가운데 전파된G2784 하나님의G2316 아들G5207 예수G2424 그리스도는G5547 예 하고 아니라 함이 되지 아니하였으니 저에게는 예G3483만 되었느니라

19  For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us; by me and Silas and Timothy; was not yes and no, but in Him was, yes!

19   우리, 즉 나와 실루아노와 디모데가 너희 가운데서 전파한 하나님(엘로힘)의 아들 예수(야슈아) 그리스도(하 마쉬악)는 '예'와 '아니오'가 아니라 그분 안에는 '예'만 있었느니라.

20  For¹⁰⁶³ all³⁷⁴⁵ the promises¹⁸⁶⁰ of God²³¹⁶ in¹⁷²² him⁸⁴⁶ are⁽³⁵⁸⁸⁾ yea,³⁴⁸³ and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² him^{846, (3588)} Amen,²⁸¹ unto⁴³¹⁴ the glory¹³⁹¹ of God²³¹⁶ by¹²²³ us.²²⁵⁷

20  하나님의G2316 약속은G1860  얼마든지 그리스도( himG846) 안에서 예가 되니 그런즉 그로 말미암아 우리가 아멘G281 하여 하나님께G2316 영광을 돌리게 되느니라

20  For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God by us.

20  그분 안에 있는 하나님(야훼)의 모든 약속은 '예'가 되기에 우리는 그분 안에서 '아멘'하고 하나님(엘로힘)께 영광을 돌리노라.

21  Now¹¹⁶¹ he which establisheth⁹⁵⁰ us²²⁴⁸ with⁴⁸⁶² you⁵²¹³ in¹⁵¹⁹ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ and²⁵³² hath anointed⁵⁵⁴⁸ us,²²⁴⁸ is God;²³¹⁶

21  우리를 너희와 함께 그리스도G5547 안에서 견고케 하시고 우리에게 기름을 부으신G5548 이는 하나님이시니G2316

21  But He confirming us and anointing us with you in Christ is God.

21   이제 우리를 너희와 함께 그리스도(마쉬악) 안에서 확정하시고 우리에게 기름 부으신 그분은 하나님(야훼)이시니

22  Who hath also sealed^{4972, 2532} us,²²⁴⁸ and²⁵³² given¹³²⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ earnest⁷²⁸ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ in¹⁷²² our²²⁵⁷ hearts.²⁵⁸⁸

22  저가 또한 우리에게 인치시고(Who hath also sealedG4972, 2532) 보증으로G728 성령을(SpiritG4151) 우리 마음2588에 주셨느니라

22  And He has sealed us and having given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

22  그 분은 또한 우리를 인치시고, 우리 마음 속에 성령의 보증을 주셨느니라.

23  Moreover¹¹⁶¹ I¹⁴⁷³ call¹⁹⁴¹ God²³¹⁶ for a record³¹⁴⁴ upon¹⁹⁰⁹ my¹⁶⁹⁹ soul,⁵⁵⁹⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ to spare⁵³³⁹ you⁵²¹⁶ I came²⁰⁶⁴ not as yet³⁷⁶⁵ unto¹⁵¹⁹ Corinth.²⁸⁸²

23  내가 내 영혼을G5590 두고 하나님을G2316 불러G1941  증거하시게G3144 하노니 다시 고린도에 가지 아니한 것은 너희를 아끼려 함이라

23  And I call God as witness to my soul that in order to spare you I have not yet come to Corinth.

23  뿐만 아니라 나는 내 생명을 걸고 하나님(엘로힘)을 불러 증인을 삼나니, 너희를 아끼려고 아직 고린도에 가지 아니하였노라.

24  Not³⁷⁵⁶ for that³⁷⁵⁴ we have dominion over²⁹⁶¹ your⁵²¹⁶ faith,⁴¹⁰² but²³⁵ are²⁰⁷⁰ helpers⁴⁹⁰⁴ of your⁵²¹⁶ joy:⁵⁴⁷⁹ for¹⁰⁶³ by faith⁴¹⁰² ye stand.²⁴⁷⁶

24  우리가 너희 믿음을G4102 주관하려는 것이 아니요 오직 너희 기쁨을 돕는 자가G4904 되려 함이니 이는 너희가 믿음에 섰음이라

24  Not that we have dominion over your faith, but we are helpers of your joy; for by faith you stand.

24   우리는 너희의 믿음을 주관하려는 것이 아니요, 다만 너희를 기쁘게 하기 위한 동역자라. 이는 너희가 믿음으로 서 있기 때문이라.
