1  Let us therefore³⁷⁶⁷ fear,⁵³⁹⁹ lest,³³⁷⁹ a promise¹⁸⁶⁰ being left²⁶⁴¹ us of entering¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ his⁸⁴⁶ rest,²⁶⁶³ any⁵¹⁰⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ you⁵²¹⁶ should seem¹³⁸⁰ to come short⁵³⁰² of it.

1  그러므로 우리는(Let us thereforeG3767) 두려워할지니G5399 그의G846 안식G2663에G1519 들어갈G1525  약속이G1860 남아 있을지라도G2641 너희 중에 혹 미치지 못할 자가 있을까 함이라

1  Therefore, a promise being left to enter into His rest, let us fear lest any of you should seem to come short of it.

1  그러므로 그의 안식에 들어갈 한 약속이 우리에게 남아 있는 이상, 너희 중에 혹 그것에 이르지 못할 자가 있을까 두려워해야 하리라.

2  For¹⁰⁶³ unto us⁽²⁵³²⁾ was the gospel preached,^{2070, 2097} as well as²⁵⁰⁹ unto them:²⁵⁴⁸ but²³⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ word³⁰⁵⁶ preached¹⁸⁹ did not³⁷⁵⁶ profit⁵⁶²³ them,¹⁵⁶⁵ not³³⁶¹ being mixed with⁴⁷⁸⁶ faith⁴¹⁰² in them that heard¹⁹¹ it.

2  저희와 같이 우리도 복음 전함을 받은자이나 그러나 그 들은 바 말씀이 저희에게 유익되지 못한 것은 듣는 자가 믿음을G4102 화합지G4786 아니함이라G3361

2  For also we have had the gospel preached, as well as them. But the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

2    복음을 전해 들은 것은 그들이나 우리나 마찬가지나, 전파된 말씀이 그들에게 유익을 주지 못한 것은, 그것을 들은 자들이 믿음을 결합시키지 못했기 때문이라.

3  For¹⁰⁶³ we which have believed⁴¹⁰⁰ do enter¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ rest,²⁶⁶³ as²⁵³¹ he said,²⁰⁴⁶ As⁵⁶¹³ I have sworn³⁶⁶⁰ in¹⁷²² my³⁴⁵⁰ wrath,³⁷⁰⁹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ they shall enter¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ my³⁴⁵⁰ rest:²⁶⁶³ although²⁵⁴³ the³⁵⁸⁸ works²⁰⁴¹ were finished¹⁰⁹⁶ from⁵⁷⁵ the foundation²⁶⁰² of the world.²⁸⁸⁹

3  이미 믿는 우리들은 저 안식에 들어가는도다 그 말씀하신 바와 같으니 내가 노하여 맹세한 바와 같이 저희가 내 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 하셨다 하였으나 세상을 창조할 때부터 그일이 이루었느니라

3  For we who have believed do enter into the rest, as He said, "I have sworn in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest;" although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

3   이는 그가 말씀하시기를 "그 일이 세상의 기초가 놓인 때부터 완성되었을지라도, 내가 내 진노중에 맹세하였거니와 '그들이 내 안식에 들어오려면'이라 하였도다."라고 하신 대로 믿은 우리는 안식에 들어감이라.

4  For¹⁰⁶³ he spake²⁰⁴⁶ in a certain place⁴²²⁵ of⁴⁰¹² the³⁵⁸⁸ seventh¹⁴⁴² day on this wise,³⁷⁷⁹ And²⁵³² God²³¹⁶ did rest²⁶⁶⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ seventh¹⁴⁴² day²²⁵⁰ from⁵⁷⁵ all³⁹⁵⁶ his⁸⁴⁸ works.²⁰⁴¹

4  제 칠일에 관하여는 어디 이렇게 일렀으되 하나님은G2316 제 칠일에G3588, G1442 그의G848 모든G3956 일을G2041 쉬셨다G2664 하였으며

4  For He spoke in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: "And God rested the seventh day from all His works."

4  어느 곳에선가 일곱째 날에 관해서 이렇게 말씀하시기를 "하나님(엘로힘)께서 일곱째 날에 그의 모든 일에서 쉬셨느니라."고 하셨으며

5  And²⁵³² in¹⁷²² this⁵¹²⁹ place again,³⁸²⁵ If¹⁴⁸⁷ they shall enter¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ my³⁴⁵⁰ rest.²⁶⁶³

5  또 다시 거기 저희가 내 안식G2663에G1519  들어오지G1525 못하리라( IfG1487) 하였으니

5  And in this place again, "They shall not enter into My rest."

5  여기에서 다시 "그들이 나의 안식에 들어오려면( IfG1487) "이라고 하셨느니라.

6  Seeing¹⁸⁹³ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ it remaineth⁶²⁰ that some⁵¹⁰⁰ must enter¹⁵²⁵ therein,^{1519, 846} and²⁵³² they to whom it was first preached^{2097, 4386} entered not in^{1525, 3756} because¹²²³ of unbelief:⁵⁴³

6  그러면 거기 들어갈 자들이 남아 있거니와G620 복음 전함을 먼저 받은자들은 순종치 아니함을G543 인하여G1223 들어가지 못하였으므로

6  Since then it remains that some must enter into it, and since they to whom it was first preached did not enter in because of unbelief,

6   그러므로 누군가 거기에 들어가야만 하는 일이 남아 있으나 먼저 복음을 들은 자들은 믿음 없음으로 인하여 들어가지 못한 것이라.

7  Again,³⁸²⁵ he limiteth³⁷²⁴ a certain⁵¹⁰⁰ day,²²⁵⁰ saying³⁰⁰⁴ in¹⁷²² David,¹¹³⁸ Today,⁴⁵⁹⁴ after³³²⁶ so long⁵¹¹⁸ a time;⁵⁵⁵⁰ as²⁵³¹ it is said,²⁰⁴⁶ Today⁴⁵⁹⁴ if¹⁴³⁷ ye will hear¹⁹¹ his⁸⁴⁶ voice,⁵⁴⁵⁶ harden⁴⁶⁴⁵ not³³⁶¹ your⁵²¹⁶ hearts.²⁵⁸⁸

7  오랜 후에 다윗의 글에 다시 어느 날을 정하여 오늘날이라고 미리 이같이 일렀으되 오늘날 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든 너희 마음을 강퍅케 말라 하였나니

7  He again marks out a certain day, saying in David, "Today," (after so long a time). Even as it is said, "Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts."

7  또다시 오랜 세월 후에 어떤 날을 정하시어 다윗 안에서 '오늘'이라 말씀하셨으니, "오늘 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든 너희 마음을 완악하게 하지 말라."고 함과 같으니라.

8  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ Joshua²⁴²⁴ had given them rest,^{2664, 846} then would he not^{3756 (302)} afterward^{3326, 5023} have spoken²⁹⁸⁰ of⁴⁰¹² another²⁴³ day.²²⁵⁰

8  만일 여호수아가G2424 저희에게 안식을 주었더면 그 후에 다른 날을 말씀하지 아니하셨으리라

8  For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day.

8    만일 예수(여호수아)가 그들에게 안식을 주었더라면 하나님(그분)께서 그후에 다른 날을 말씀하지 아니하셨으리라.

9  There remaineth⁶²⁰ therefore⁶⁸⁶ a rest⁴⁵²⁰ to the³⁵⁸⁸ people²⁹⁹² of God.²³¹⁶

9  그런즉 안식할 때가G4520 하나님의G2316 백성에게G2992 남아 있도다G620

9  So then there remains a rest to the people of God.

9  그러므로 하나님(엘로힘)의 백성에게 한 안식이 남아 있도다.

10  For¹⁰⁶³ he that is entered¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ his⁸⁴⁶ rest,²⁶⁶³ he⁸⁴⁶ also²⁵³² hath ceased²⁶⁶⁴ from⁵⁷⁵ his own⁸⁴⁸ works,²⁰⁴¹ as⁵⁶¹⁸ God²³¹⁶ did from⁵⁷⁵ his.²³⁹⁸

10  이미 그의 안식에 들어간 자는 하나님이G2316 자기 일을 쉬심과 같이 자기 일을 쉬느니라G2664

10  For he who has entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from His.

10 그의 안식에 들어간 사람은 하나님(엘로힘)께서 자기 일에서 쉬신 것같이 그도 자기 일에서 쉬었느니라.

11  Let us labor⁴⁷⁰⁴ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ to enter¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ that¹⁵⁶⁵ rest,²⁶⁶³ lest³³⁶³ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ fall⁴⁰⁹⁸ after¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ same⁸⁴⁶ example⁵²⁶² of unbelief.⁵⁴³

11  그러므로 우리가 저 안식에 들어가기를 힘쓸지니G4704 이는 누구든지 저 순종치 아니하는 본에 빠지지 않게 하려 함이라

11  Therefore let us labor to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of unbelief.

11  그러므로 우리가 그 안식에 들어가도록 힘써야 하리니 이는 아무도 똑같은 믿음 없음의 본에 빠지지 않게 하려 함이라.

12  For¹⁰⁶³ the³⁵⁸⁸ word³⁰⁵⁶ of God²³¹⁶ is quick,²¹⁹⁸ and²⁵³² powerful,¹⁷⁵⁶ and²⁵³² sharper⁵¹¹⁴ than⁵²²⁸ any³⁹⁵⁶ two-edged¹³⁶⁶ sword,³¹⁶² piercing¹³³⁸ even²⁵³² to⁸⁹¹ the dividing asunder³³¹¹ of⁽⁵⁰³⁷⁾ soul⁵⁵⁹⁰ and²⁵³² spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ and⁵⁰³⁷ of the joints⁷¹⁹ and²⁵³² marrow,³⁴⁵² and²⁵³² is a discerner²⁹²⁴ of the thoughts¹⁷⁶¹ and²⁵³² intents¹⁷⁷¹ of the heart.²⁵⁸⁸

12  하나님의G2316 말씀은 살았고 운동력이 있어 죄우에 날선 어떤 검보다도 예리하여 혼과 영과 및 관절과 골수를 찔러 쪼개기까지하며 또 마음의 생각과 뜻을 감찰하나니

12  For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

12   하나님(엘로힘)의 말씀은 살아 있고 활력이 있어 양날이 있는 어떤 칼보다도 예리하여 혼과 영, 그리고 관절과 골수를 찔러 가르고 마음의 생각들과 의도들을 판별하느니라.

13  Neither^{2532, 3756} is²⁰⁷⁶ there any creature²⁹³⁷ that is not manifest⁸⁵² in his sight:^{1799, 846} but¹¹⁶¹ all things³⁹⁵⁶ are naked¹¹³¹ and²⁵³² opened⁵¹³⁶ unto the³⁵⁸⁸ eyes³⁷⁸⁸ of him⁸⁴⁶ with⁴³¹⁴ whom³⁷³⁹ we have to do.^{2254, 3056}

13  지으신 것이 하나라도 그 앞에 나타나지 않음이 없고 오직 만물이 우리를 상관하시는 자의 눈앞에 벌거벗은 것같이 드러나느니라

13  Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight, but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

13  그 어떤 피조물도 그분 앞에 나타나지 않는 것이 하나도 없나니, 오직 만물이 우리가 회계해야 하는 그분의 눈 앞에 벌거벗은 채로 명백히 드러나게 되느니라.

14  Seeing then³⁷⁶⁷ that we have²¹⁹² a great³¹⁷³ high priest,⁷⁴⁹ that is passed into¹³³⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ heavens,³⁷⁷² Jesus²⁴²⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God,²³¹⁶ let us hold fast²⁹⁰² our profession.³⁶⁷¹

14  그러므로 우리에게 큰 대제사장이 있으니 승천하신 자 곧 하나님G2316 아들 예수시라G2424 우리가 믿는 도리를 굳게 잡을지어다

14  Since then we have a great High Priest who has passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

14   우리에게는 위대한 대제사장, 곧 하늘들로 올라가신 하나님(엘로힘)의 아들 예수(야슈아)께서 계시므로, 우리는 우리의 고백을 굳게 붙들어야 하리라.

15  For¹⁰⁶³ we have²¹⁹² not³⁷⁵⁶ a high priest⁷⁴⁹ which cannot^{1410, 3361} be touched with the feeling of⁴⁸³⁴ our²²⁵⁷ infirmities;⁷⁶⁹ but¹¹⁶¹ was in²⁵⁹⁶ all points³⁹⁵⁶ tempted³⁹⁸⁵ like as^{2596, 3665} we are, yet without⁵⁵⁶⁵ sin.²⁶⁶

15  우리에게 있는 대제사장은 우리 연약함을 체휼하지 아니하는 자가 아니요 모든 일에 우리와 한결같이 시험을 받은 자로되 죄는 없으시니라

15  For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted just as we are, yet without sin.

15  이는 우리의 대제사장은 우리의 연약함을 동정할 수 없는 분이 아니요, 모든 점에서 우리와 마찬가지로 시험을 받으셨지만 죄는 없으신 분이기 때문이라.

16  Let us therefore³⁷⁶⁷ come⁴³³⁴ boldly^{3326, 3954} unto the³⁵⁸⁸ throne²³⁶² of grace,⁵⁴⁸⁵ that²⁴⁴³ we may obtain²⁹⁸³ mercy,¹⁶⁵⁶ and²⁵³² find²¹⁴⁷ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ to help in time of need.^{1519, 2121, 996}

16  그러므로 우리가 긍휼하심을 받고 때를 따라 돕는 은혜를 얻기 위하여 은혜의 보좌 앞에 담대히 나아갈 것이니라

16  Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

16  그러므로 우리가 은혜의 보좌로 담대히 나아가자. 이는 우리가 자비를 얻고 필요한 때에 도우시는 은혜를 발견하기 위함이라.
