1  Let every³⁹⁵⁶ soul⁵⁵⁹⁰ be subject⁵²⁹³ unto the higher⁵²⁴² powers.¹⁸⁴⁹ For¹⁰⁶³ there is²⁰⁷⁶ no³⁷⁵⁶ power¹⁸⁴⁹ but¹⁵⁰⁸ of⁵⁷⁵ God:^{2316, (1161)} the³⁵⁸⁸ powers¹⁸⁴⁹ that be⁵⁶⁰⁷ are¹⁵²⁶ ordained⁵⁰²¹ of⁵²⁵⁹ God.²³¹⁶

1  각(Let everyG3956) 사람은(soulG5590) 위에 있는(unto the higherG5242) 권세들에게(powersG1849) 굴복하라(be subjectG5293) 권세는(powerG1849) 하나님께로( God:G2316 ^{, (}G1161⁾) 나지 않음이 없(noG3756 )나니(butG1508 ) 모든 권세는(powersG1849 ) 다 하나님(GodG2316 )의( ofG5259) 정하신바(ordainedG5021)라( areG1526)

1  Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

1 각 사람은 위에 있는 권세자들에게 복종하라. 야훼(하나님)께로부터 나오지 않은 권세는 없나니, 모든 권세는 엘로힘(하나님)께서 정하신 것이라.

모든:  신_17:12; 시_62:11; 잠_8:15, 잠_8:16; 렘_27:5-8; 단_2:21; 엡_5:21; 딛_3:1; 벧전_2:13-17

2  Whosoever therefore resisteth^{498, 5620} the³⁵⁸⁸ power,¹⁸⁴⁹ resisteth⁴³⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ ordinance¹²⁹⁶ of God:²³¹⁶ and¹¹⁶¹ they that resist⁴³⁶ shall receive²⁹⁸³ to themselves¹⁴³⁸ damnation.²⁹¹⁷

2  그러므로 권세를G1849 거스리는 자는 하나님의G2316 명을 거스림이니 거스리는 자들은 심판을G2917 자취하리라G2983

2  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

2    그러므로 누구든지 권세자에게 거역하는 자는 엘로힘(하나님)의 정하신 바를 거역함이니, 거역하는 그들은 스스로 저주를 받게 되리라.

3  For¹⁰⁶³ rulers⁷⁵⁸ are¹⁵²⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ a terror⁵⁴⁰¹ to good¹⁸ works,²⁰⁴¹ but²³⁵ to the³⁵⁸⁸ evil.²⁵⁵⁶ Wilt²³⁰⁹ thou then¹¹⁶¹ not³³⁶¹ be afraid⁵³⁹⁹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ power?¹⁸⁴⁹ do⁴¹⁶⁰ that which is good,¹⁸ and²⁵³² thou shalt have²¹⁹² praise¹⁸⁶⁸ of¹⁵³⁷ the same:⁸⁴⁶

3  관원들은G758  선한G758 일에G2041 대하여 두려움이 되지 않고 악한 일에 대하여 되나니 네가 권세를 두려워하지 아니하려느냐 선을 행하라 그리하면 그에게 칭찬을 받으리라

3  For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

3  이는 다스리는 자들은 선행에 대해서는 두려움이 되지 아니하고 악행에 대해서만 됨이니, 네가 권세자를 두려워하지 아니하기를 원하느냐? 선을 행하라. 그러면 그에게서 칭찬을 받으리라.

다스리는 자들:  롬_13:4; 신_25:1; 잠_14:35, 잠_20:2; 전_10:4-6; 렘_22:15-18

원하느냐:  벧전_2:13, 벧전_2:14, 벧전_3:13, 벧전_3:14

4  For¹⁰⁶³ he is²⁰⁷⁶ the minister¹²⁴⁹ of God²³¹⁶ to thee⁴⁶⁷¹ for¹⁵¹⁹ good.¹⁸ But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴³⁷ thou do⁴¹⁶⁰ that which is evil,²⁵⁵⁶ be afraid;⁵³⁹⁹ for¹⁰⁶³ he beareth⁵⁴⁰⁹ not³⁷⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ sword³¹⁶² in vain:¹⁵⁰⁰ for¹⁰⁶³ he is²⁰⁷⁶ the minister¹²⁴⁹ of God,²³¹⁶ a revenger¹⁵⁵⁸ to¹⁵¹⁹ execute wrath³⁷⁰⁹ upon him that doeth⁴²³⁸ evil.²⁵⁵⁶

4  그는 하나님의G2316 사자가G1249  되어 네게 선을 이루는 자니라 그러나 네가 악을2556 행하거든 두려워하라G5399 그가 공연히 칼을G3162 가지지 아니하였으니 곧 하나님의G2316 사자가 되어 악을 행하는 자에게 진노하심을 위하여 보응하는 자G1558니라

4  For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

4  그는 너에게 선을 이루기 위한 야훼(하나님)의 일꾼이라. 그러나 네가 악을 행하면 두려워하라. 이는 그가 헛되이 칼을 가지고 다니지 아니하기 때문이라. 그는 야훼(하나님)의 일꾼이요 악을 행하는 자에게 진노를 행하는 보응자니라.

일꾼이라:  잠_16:14, 잠언_20:2, 잠언_20:8, 잠언_20:26

보응자:  롬_12:19; 민_35:19-27; 수_20:5, 수_20:9; 겔_25:14

5  Wherefore¹³⁵² ye must needs³¹⁸ be subject,⁵²⁹³ not³⁷⁵⁶ only³⁴⁴⁰ for¹²²³ wrath,³⁷⁰⁹ but²³⁵ also²⁵³² for conscience sake.^{1223, 4893}

5  그러므로 굴복하지G5293 아니할 수 없으니 노를G3709 인하여만 할 것이 아니요 또한 양심을G4893 인하여 할 것이라

5  Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

5   그러므로 너희가 반드시 복종해야 하나니, 진노 때문만이 아니라 양심 때문이기도 하니라.

6  For¹⁰⁶³ for this cause^{1223, 5124} pay⁵⁰⁵⁵ ye tribute⁵⁴¹¹ also:²⁵³² for¹⁰⁶³ they are¹⁵²⁶ God's²³¹⁶ ministers,³⁰¹¹ attending continually⁴³⁴² upon¹⁵¹⁹ this very thing.^{5124, 846}

6  너희가 공세를G5411 바치는 것도 이를 인함이라 저희가 하나님의G2316 일군이 되어 바로 이 일에 항상 힘쓰느니라

6  For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

6  이러한 연유로 너희가 세금을 내는 것이니, 이는 그들이 야훼(하나님)의 일꾼들로서 바로 이 일에 전념하게 하려 함이니라.

7  Render⁵⁹¹ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ to all³⁹⁵⁶ their dues:³⁷⁸² tribute⁵⁴¹¹ to whom³⁵⁸⁸ tribute⁵⁴¹¹ is due; custom⁵⁰⁵⁶ to whom³⁵⁸⁸ custom;⁵⁰⁵⁶ fear⁵⁴⁰¹ to whom³⁵⁸⁸ fear;⁵⁴⁰¹ honor⁵⁰⁹² to whom³⁵⁸⁸ honor.⁵⁰⁹²

7  모든 자에게 줄 것을 주되 공세를 받을 자에게 공세를 바치고 국세 받을 자에게 국세를 바치고 두려워할 자를 두려워하며G5401 존경할 자를 존경하라G5092

7  Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

7  그러므로 모든 사람에게 의무를 다하되, 국세를 낼 자에게 국세를 내고, 관세를 낼 자에게 관세를 내며, 두려워할 자를 두려워하고, 존경할 자를 존경하라.

8  Owe³⁷⁸⁴ no man³³⁶⁷ any thing,³³⁶⁷ but¹⁵⁰⁸ to love²⁵ one another:²⁴⁰ for¹⁰⁶³ he that loveth²⁵ another²⁰⁸⁷ hath fulfilled⁴¹³⁷ the law.³⁵⁵¹

8  피차 사랑의 빚 외에는 아무에게든지 아무 빚도 지지 말라 남을 사랑하는 자는 율법을G3551 다 이루었느니라G4137

8  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

8 서로 사랑하는 것 외에는 아무에게도 어떤 빚도 지지 말라. 다른 사람을 사랑하는 사람은 율법을 이룬 것이니라.

9  For¹⁰⁶³ this,³⁵⁸⁸ Thou shalt not³⁷⁵⁶ commit adultery,³⁴³¹ Thou shalt not³⁷⁵⁶ kill,⁵⁴⁰⁷ Thou shalt not³⁷⁵⁶ steal,²⁸¹³ Thou shalt not³⁷⁵⁶ bear false witness,⁵⁵⁷⁶ Thou shalt not³⁷⁵⁶ covet;¹⁹³⁷ and²⁵³² if there be any¹⁵³⁶ other²⁰⁸⁷ commandment,¹⁷⁸⁵ it is briefly comprehended³⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² this⁵¹²⁹ saying,³⁰⁵⁶ namely,^{1722, 3588} Thou shalt love²⁵ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ neighbor⁴¹³⁹ as⁵⁶¹³ thyself.¹⁴³⁸

9  간음하지G3431 말라G3756 살인하지G5407 말라 도적질하지G2813 말라 탐내지G1937  말라 한 것과 그 외에 다른 계명이G1785 있을지라도 네 이웃을G4139 네 자신과 같이 사랑하라G25 하신 그 말씀 가운데 다 들었느니라

9  For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

9  그것은 "너는 간음하지 말지니라, 너는 살인하지 말지니라, 너는 도둑질하지 말지니라, 너는 거짓 증거하지G5576 말지니라, 너는 탐내지 말지니라." 한 것과 그 외에 다른 계명이 있을지라도 "너는 네 이웃을 네 자신과 같이 사랑하라."는 말씀 가운데 다 들어 있음이니라.

그것은:  출_20:12-17; 신_5:16-21; 마_19:18, 마_19:19; 막_10:19; 눅_18:20

탐내지:  롬_7:7, 롬_7:8

사랑하라:  레_19:18, 레_19:34; 마_22:39; 막_12:31; 눅_10:27; 갈_5:13; 약_2:8-10

10  Love²⁶ worketh²⁰³⁸ no³⁷⁵⁶ ill²⁵⁵⁶ to his neighbor:⁴¹³⁹ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ love²⁶ is the fulfilling⁴¹³⁸ of the law.³⁵⁵¹

10  사랑은G26 이웃에게 악을2556 행치G2038  아니하나니 그러므로 사랑은 율법의 완성이니라

10  Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

10  사랑은 자기 이웃에게 악을 행치 아니하느니라. 그러므로 사랑은 율법의 완성이니라.

11  And²⁵³² that,⁵¹²⁴ knowing¹⁴⁹² the³⁵⁸⁸ time,²⁵⁴⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ now²²³⁵ it is high time⁵⁶¹⁰ to⁽²²⁴⁸⁾ awake¹⁴⁵³ out of¹⁵³⁷ sleep:⁵²⁵⁸ for¹⁰⁶³ now³⁵⁶⁸ is our²²⁵⁷ salvation⁴⁹⁹¹ nearer¹⁴⁵² than²²²⁸ when³⁷⁵³ we believed.⁴¹⁰⁰

11  또한 너희가 이 시기를2540 알거니와G1492   자다가 깰 때가 벌써 되었으니 이는 이제 우리의 구원이G4991 처음 믿을 때보다 가까왔음이니라

11  And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

11  뿐만 아니라 우리가 그 때를 아노니, 지금은 바로 잠에서 깨어나야 할 시간이로다. 이는 지금이 우리가 처음 믿은 때보다 우리의 구원이 더 가까워졌음이라.

12  The³⁵⁸⁸ night³⁵⁷¹ is far spent,^{4298 (1161)} the³⁵⁸⁸ day²²⁵⁰ is at hand:¹⁴⁴⁸ let us therefore³⁷⁶⁷ cast off⁶⁵⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ works²⁰⁴¹ of darkness,⁴⁶⁵⁵ and²⁵³² let us put on¹⁷⁴⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ armor³⁶⁹⁶ of light.⁵⁴⁵⁷

12  밤이 깊고 낮이 가까왔으니 그러므로 우리가 어두움의G4655 일을G2041 벗고G659 빛의G5457 갑옷을G3696 입자G1746

12  The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

12  밤이 많이 지났고 낮이 가까웠느니라. 그러므로 어두움의 행위를 벗어 버리고 빛의 갑옷을 입자.

13  Let us walk⁴⁰⁴³ honestly,²¹⁵⁶ as⁵⁶¹³ in¹⁷²² the day;²²⁵⁰ not³³⁶¹ in rioting²⁹⁷⁰ and²⁵³² drunkenness,³¹⁷⁸ not³³⁶¹ in chambering²⁸⁴⁵ and²⁵³² wantonness,⁷⁶⁶ not³³⁶¹ in strife²⁰⁵⁴ and²⁵³² envying.²²⁰⁵

13  낮에와 같이 단정히G2156 행하고 방탕G2970과 술 취하지G3178 말며 음란G2845과 호색하지G766  말며 쟁투G2054와 시기하지G2205말고

13  Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

13  낮에와 같이 단정히 행하고, 흥청거리거나 술 취하지 말며, 음란하거나 방탕하지 말며, 다투거나 시기하지 말고

14  But²³⁵ put ye on¹⁷⁴⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ and²⁵³² make⁴¹⁶⁰ not³³⁶¹ provision⁴³⁰⁷ for the³⁵⁸⁸ flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ to fulfill the⁽¹⁵¹⁹⁾ lusts¹⁹³⁹ thereof.

14  오직 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도로G5547 옷입고G1746 정욕을G1939 위하여 육신의G4561 일을 도모하지 말라

14  But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.

14  오직 아도나이(주H136) 야슈아(예수G2424) 하 마쉬악으로(그리스도로H4899 ) 옷 입고 정욕을 채우기 위하여 육신을 위해 계획하지 말라.
