1  I beseech³⁸⁷⁰ you⁵²⁰⁹ therefore,³⁷⁶⁷ brethren,⁸⁰ by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ mercies³⁶²⁸ of God,²³¹⁶ that ye present³⁹³⁶ your⁵²¹⁶ bodies⁴⁹⁸³ a living²¹⁹⁸ sacrifice,²³⁷⁸ holy,⁴⁰ acceptable²¹⁰¹ unto God,²³¹⁶ which is your⁵²¹⁶ reasonable³⁰⁵⁰ service.²⁹⁹⁹

1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

1   그러므로 형제들아, 내가 엘로힘(하나님)의 모든 자비하심으로 너희에게 권고하노니, 너희 몸을 엘로힘(하나님)께서 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 드리라. 이것이 너희가 드릴 합당한 예배니라.

2  And²⁵³² be not³³⁶¹ conformed⁴⁹⁶⁴ to this⁵¹²⁹ world:¹⁶⁵ but²³⁵ be ye transformed³³³⁹ by the³⁵⁸⁸ renewing³⁴² of your⁵²¹⁶ mind,³⁵⁶³ that ye⁵²⁰⁹ may prove¹³⁸¹ what⁵¹⁰¹ is that good,¹⁸ and²⁵³² acceptable,²¹⁰¹ and²⁵³² perfect,⁵⁰⁴⁶ will²³⁰⁷ of God.²³¹⁶

2  너희는 이 세대를G165  본받지G4964 말고 오직 마음을G3563 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아G3339 하나님의G2316 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이G2307 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라G1381

2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2  너희는 이 세상과 일치하지 말고 너희 마음을 새롭게 함으로써 변화를 받아 엘로힘(하나님)의 선하시고, 기뻐하시고, 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 입증하도록 하라.

3  For¹⁰⁶³ I say,³⁰⁰⁴ through¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ given¹³²⁵ unto me,³⁴²⁷ to every man³⁹⁵⁶ that is⁵⁶⁰⁷ among¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ not³³⁶¹ to think of himself more highly than^{5252, 3844, 3739} he ought¹¹⁶³ to think;⁵⁴²⁶ but²³⁵ to think⁵⁴²⁶ soberly,⁴⁹⁹³ according as⁵⁶¹³ God²³¹⁶ hath dealt³³⁰⁷ to every man¹⁵³⁸ the measure³³⁵⁸ of faith.⁴¹⁰²

3  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

3  내게 주신 은혜로 인하여 너희 중 각 사람에게 말하노니, 자신에 대하여 마땅히 생각할 그 이상의 생각을 품지 말고, 다만 엘로힘(하나님)께서 각 사람에게 나누어 주신 믿음의 분량에 따라 건전하게 생각하라.

4  우리가 한 몸에G4983 많은 지체를G3196 가졌으나 모든 지체가 같은 직분을G4234 가진 것이 아니니

4  For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

5  이와 같이 우리 많은 사람이 그리스도G5547 안에서 한 몸이 되어 서로 지체가 되었느니라

5  So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

6  Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

6    그러므로 우리에게 주어진 은혜에 따라 가진 은사들이 다르니, 예언이면 믿음의 분량대로 예언하고,

7  Or¹⁵³⁵ ministry,¹²⁴⁸ let us wait on¹⁷²² our ministering:¹²⁴⁸ or¹⁵³⁵ he that teacheth,¹³²¹ on¹⁷²² teaching;¹³¹⁹

7  Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

8  혹 권위하는 자면( he that exhortethG3870 ) 권위하는 일(exhortation:G3874)로 구제하는 자(he that givethG3330)는 성실함(simplicityG572)으로 다스리는 자는(he that rulethG4291) 부지런함G4710으로 긍휼을 베푸는 자는(he that showeth mercyG1653) 즐거움G2432으로 할 것이니라

8  Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.

8 또 권면하는 자는 권면하는 일로, 구제하는 자는 성실함으로, 지도하는 자는 근면함으로, 자비를 베푸는 자는 즐거움으로 할 것이니라.

9  Let love²⁶ be without dissimulation.⁵⁰⁵ Abhor⁶⁵⁵ that which is evil;⁴¹⁹⁰ cleave²⁸⁵³ to that which is good.¹⁸

9  Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

12  Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

16  Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

17  아무에게도 악으로 악을2556 갚지 말고 모든 사람 앞에서 선한 일을2570 도모하라

17  Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

19  내 사랑하는 자들아 너희가 친히 원수를 갚지 말고 진노하심에 맡기라 기록되었으되 원수 갚는 것이G1557  내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라고G467 주께서G2962 말씀하시니라

19  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

19  사랑하는 자들아, 너희 스스로 복수하지 말고 진노하심에 맡기라. 기록되었으되 "원수 갚는 것은 나의 일이니, 내가 갚으리라. 야훼(주)가 말하노라."고 하였느니라.

20  네 원수가 주리거든 먹이고 목마르거든 마시우라 그리함으로 네가 숯G440불을G4442 그 머리에 쌓아 놓으리라

20  Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

20  그러므로 네 원수가 주리거든 먹이고, 만일 그가 목마르거든 마실 것을 주라. 이렇게 함으로써 네가 그의 머리에 숯불을 쌓을 것이라.
