1  What⁵¹⁰¹ shall we say²⁰⁴⁶ then?³⁷⁶⁷ Shall we continue¹⁹⁶¹ in sin,²⁶⁶ that²⁴⁴³ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ may abound?⁴¹²¹

1  그 그런즉(thenG3767) 우리가( shall we sayG2046) 무슨(WhatG5101) 말 하리요(shall we sayG2046) 은혜를(graceG5485) 더하게 하려고(may aboundG4121) 죄에(in sinG266) 거하겠느뇨(Shall we continueG1961)

1  What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound?

1  그런즉 우리가 무슨 말을 하리요? 은혜가 넘치게 하려고 죄에 거하겠느냐?

죄에 거하겠느냐:  롬_6:15, 롬_2:4, 롬_3:5-8, 롬_3:31, 롬_5:20,롬_5:21; 갈_5:13; 벧전_2:16

2  God forbid.^{1096, 3361} How⁴⁴⁵⁹ shall we, that³⁷⁴⁸ are dead⁵⁹⁹ to sin,²⁶⁶ live²¹⁹⁸ any longer²⁰⁸⁹ therein?^{1722, 846}

2 그럴 수 없느니라(God forbid G1096, G3361) 죄에 대하여 죽은(are deadG599) 우리가 어찌 그 가운데 더 살리요

2  Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

2  결코 그럴 수 없느니라. 죄에게 죽은 우리가 어떻게 더 이상 그 가운데 살겠느냐?

3  ⁽²²²⁸⁾ Know ye not,⁵⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ so many of us as³⁷⁴⁵ were baptized⁹⁰⁷ into¹⁵¹⁹ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ were baptized⁹⁰⁷ into¹⁵¹⁹ his⁸⁴⁸ death?²²⁸⁸

3  무릇 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 와 합하여 세례를 받은(were baptizedG907) 우리는 그의 죽으심과 합하여 세례 받은 줄을 알지 못하느뇨( Know ye notG50)

3  Do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?

3  야슈아(예수) 마쉬악(그리스도H4899) 안으로 침례받은 우리가 그의 죽으심 안으로 침례받은 것을 알지 못하느냐?

4  Therefore³⁷⁶⁷ we are buried⁴⁹¹⁶ with him⁸⁴⁶ by¹²²³ baptism⁹⁰⁸ into¹⁵¹⁹ death:²²⁸⁸ that²⁴⁴³ like as⁵⁶¹⁸ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ was raised up¹⁴⁵³ from¹⁵³⁷ the dead³⁴⁹⁸ by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ glory¹³⁹¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Father,³⁹⁶² even²⁵³² so³⁷⁷⁹ we²²⁴⁹ also²⁵³² should walk⁴⁰⁴³ in¹⁷²² newness²⁵³⁸ of life.²²²²

4  그러므로 우리가 그의 죽으심과 합하여 세례를 받음으로 그와 함께 장사되었나니(we are buriedG4916) 이는 아버지(FatherG3962)의 영광으로G1391 말미암아 그리스도를G5547 죽은 자 가운데서 살리심G1453과 같이 우리로 또한 새(newness2538) 생명(of lifeG2222) 가운데서 행하게 하려 함이니라

4  Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in newness of life.

4 그러므로 우리가 그와 함께 받은 침례에 의하여 죽음 안으로 장사되었으니, 이는 아버지의 영광으로 인하여 마쉬악(그리스도H4899)께서 죽은 자들로부터 일으켜지심과 같이, 우리도 또한 생명의 새로움 가운데서 행하게 하려 함이니라.

5  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ we have been¹⁰⁹⁶ planted together⁴⁸⁵⁴ in the³⁵⁸⁸ likeness³⁶⁶⁷ of his⁸⁴⁸ death,²²⁸⁸ we shall be^{2071 (235)} also²⁵³² in the likeness of his resurrection:³⁸⁶

5  만일 우리가 그의 죽으심을 본받아G3667 연합한 자가 되었으면 또한 그의 부활을G386 본받아 연합한 자가 되리라

5  For if we have been joined together in the likeness of His death, we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection;

5    만일 우리가 그의 죽으심의 모양으로 함께 심겨졌다면 또한 그의 부활하심의 모양과 같이 되리라.

6  Knowing¹⁰⁹⁷ this,⁵¹²⁴ that³⁷⁵⁴ our²²⁵⁷ old³⁸²⁰ man⁴⁴⁴ is crucified with⁴⁹⁵⁷ him, that²⁴⁴³ the³⁵⁸⁸ body⁴⁹⁸³ of sin²⁶⁶ might be destroyed,²⁶⁷³ that henceforth³³⁷¹ we²²⁴⁸ should not serve¹³⁹⁸ sin.²⁶⁶

6  우리가 알거니와 우리 옛 사람이 예수와 함께 십자가에 못 박힌 것은G4957 죄의( of sinG266) 몸이(bodyG4983) 멸하여(might be destroyed2673) 다시는(that henceforthG3371) 우리가 죄에게 종노릇 하지G1398 아니 하려 함이니

6  knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be destroyed, that from now on we should not serve sin.

6  우리가 이것을 아나니, 곧 우리 옛 사람이 그와 함께 십자가에 처형된 것은 죄의 몸을 멸하여 더 이상 우리가 죄에게 종 노릇 하지 않게 하기 위함이니라.

7  For¹⁰⁶³ he that is dead⁵⁹⁹ is freed¹³⁴⁴ from⁵⁷⁵ sin.²⁶⁶

7  이는(ForG1063) 죽은 자가(he that is deadG599) 죄( sinG266)에서( fromG575) 벗어나 의롭다 하심을 얻었음이니라(is freedG1344)

7  For he who died has been justified from sin.

7  이는 죽은 자가 죄로부터 자유롭게 되었기 때문이라.

이는:  롬_6:2, 롬_6:8; 골_3:1-3; 벧전_4:1

8  Now¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ we be dead⁵⁹⁹ with⁴⁸⁶² Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ we believe⁴¹⁰⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ we shall also²⁵³² live with⁴⁸⁰⁰ him:⁸⁴⁶

8  만일 우리가 그리스도G5547와 함께 죽었으면 또한 그와 함께 살 줄을 믿노니G4100

8  But if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

8  이제 우리가 마쉬악과(그리스도와) 함께 죽었으면 또한 그와 함께 살 줄을 믿으며

9  Knowing¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ being raised¹⁴⁵³ from¹⁵³⁷ the dead³⁴⁹⁸ dieth⁵⁹⁹ no more;³⁷⁶⁵ death²²⁸⁸ hath no more dominion over^{2961, 3765} him.⁸⁴⁶

9 이는 그리스도께서G5547 죽은 자 가운데서 사셨으매 다시 죽지 아니하시고 사망이 다시 그를 주장하지G2961 못할줄을G3765 앎이로라G1492  

9  knowing that when Christ was raised from the dead, He dies no more; death no longer has dominion over Him.

9 마쉬악(그리스도)께서 죽은 자들로부터 일으켜지셔서 다시는 죽지 아니하시고, 사망이 더 이상 그를 주관하지 못하는 줄 우리가 아노라.

10  For¹⁰⁶³ in that³⁷³⁹ he died,⁵⁹⁹ he died⁵⁹⁹ unto sin²⁶⁶ once:²¹⁷⁸ but¹¹⁶¹ in that³⁷³⁹ he liveth,²¹⁹⁸ he liveth²¹⁹⁸ unto God.²³¹⁶

10  그의 죽으심은 죄에 대하여 단번에G2178 죽으심이요 그의 살으심은 하나님께G2316 대하여 살으심이니

10  For in that He died, He died to sin once; but in that He lives, He lives to God.

10  그가 죽으심은 죄에게 단번에 죽으심이요, 그가 사심은 엘로힘(하나님)께 사심이라.

11  Likewise³⁷⁷⁹ reckon³⁰⁴⁹ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² yourselves¹⁴³⁸ to be¹⁵¹¹ dead³⁴⁹⁸ indeed³³⁰³ unto sin,²⁶⁶ but¹¹⁶¹ alive²¹⁹⁸ unto God²³¹⁶ through¹⁷²² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ our²²⁵⁷ Lord.²⁹⁶²

11 이와 같이 너희도 너희 자신을 죄에 대하여는 죽은 자요 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 안에서 하나님을G2316 대하여는 산 자G2198로 여길지어다G3049

11  Likewise count yourselves also to be truly dead to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

11  이와 같이 너희도 너희 자신을 정녕 죄에게는 죽은 자요, 야슈아(예수) 마쉬악(그리스도) 우리 아도나이(주)로 말미암아 엘로힘(하나님)께는 산 자로 여기라.

12  Let not³³⁶¹ sin²⁶⁶ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ reign⁹³⁶ in¹⁷²² your⁵²¹⁶ mortal²³⁴⁹ body,⁴⁹⁸³ that ye should obey⁵²¹⁹ it⁸⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ lusts¹⁹³⁹ thereof.⁸⁴⁸

12  그러므로 너희는 죄로 너희 죽을 몸에 왕노릇 하지G936 못하게 하여 몸의 사욕을G1939  순종치G5219 말고

12  Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

12  그러므로 너희는 죄가 너희 죽을 몸 안에서 군림하지 못하게 하여 몸의 정욕 가운데 죄에게 순종하지 말고

13  Neither³³⁶⁶ yield³⁹³⁶ ye your⁵²¹⁶ members³¹⁹⁶ as instruments³⁶⁹⁶ of unrighteousness⁹³ unto sin:²⁶⁶ but²³⁵ yield³⁹³⁶ yourselves¹⁴³⁸ unto God,²³¹⁶ as⁵⁶¹³ those that are alive²¹⁹⁸ from¹⁵³⁷ the dead,³⁴⁹⁸ and²⁵³² your⁵²¹⁶ members³¹⁹⁶ as instruments³⁶⁹⁶ of righteousness¹³⁴³ unto God.²³¹⁶

13  또한 너희 지체를G3196 불의의G93 병기로G3696 죄에게G266  드리지G3936 말고 오직 너희 자신을 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 산 자 같이 하나님께G2316 드리며 너의 지체를 의의G1343 병기로 하나님께G2316 드리라

13  Do not yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves to God, as one alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

13  또 너희 지체를 불의의 병기로 죄에게 내어 주지 말고, 다만 너희 자신을 죽은 자들로부터 살아난 자처럼 엘로힘(하나님)께 드리며 너희 지체를 의의 병기로 엘로힘(하나님)께 드리라.

병기:  고후_10:4

14  For¹⁰⁶³ sin²⁶⁶ shall not³⁷⁵⁶ have dominion over²⁹⁶¹ you:⁵²¹⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ ye are²⁰⁷⁵ not³⁷⁵⁶ under⁵²⁵⁹ the law,³⁵⁵¹ but²³⁵ under⁵²⁵⁹ grace.⁵⁴⁸⁵

14  죄가G266  너희를 주관치(have dominion overG2961) 못하리니G3756 이는 너희가 법G3551 아래 있지 아니하고 은혜G5485 아래 있음이니라

14  For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law, but under grace.

14  죄가 너희를 주관하지 못하리니, 이는 너희가 율법 아래 있지 아니하고 은혜 아래 있기 때문이라.

15  What⁵¹⁰¹ then?³⁷⁶⁷ shall we sin,²⁶⁴ because³⁷⁵⁴ we are²⁰⁷⁰ not³⁷⁵⁶ under⁵²⁵⁹ the law,³⁵⁵¹ but²³⁵ under⁵²⁵⁹ grace?⁵⁴⁸⁵ God forbid.^{1096, 3361}

15  그런즉 어찌하리요 우리가 법G3551 아래 있지 아니하고 은혜G5485 아래 있으니 죄를 지으리요G264 그럴 수 없느니라

15  What then? Shall we sin because we are not under Law, but under grace? Let it not be!

15  그런즉 어떻게 하리요? 우리가 율법 아래 있지 아니하고 은혜 아래 있으니 죄를 지어도 된다는 말이냐? 결코 그럴 수 없느니라.

16  Know¹⁴⁹² ye not,³⁷⁵⁶ that³⁷⁵⁴ to whom³⁷³⁹ ye yield³⁹³⁶ yourselves¹⁴³⁸ servants¹⁴⁰¹ to¹⁵¹⁹ obey,⁵²¹⁸ his servants¹⁴⁰¹ ye are²⁰⁷⁵ to whom³⁷³⁹ ye obey;⁵²¹⁹ whether²²⁷³ of sin²⁶⁶ unto¹⁵¹⁹ death,²²⁸⁸ or²²²⁸ of obedience⁵²¹⁸ unto¹⁵¹⁹ righteousness?¹³⁴³

16  너희 자신을 종으로 드려 누구에게 순종하든지 그 순종함을 받는 자의 종이 되는 줄을 너희가 알지 못하느냐 혹은 죄의 종으로 사망에 이르고 혹은 순종의 종으로 의에 이르느니라

16  Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to him whom you obey; whether it is of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness.

16 너희가 자신을 종으로 드려 누구에게 순종하든지 너희가 순종하는 자의 종이 되어 죄의 종으로 사망에 이르든지, 혹은 순종의 종으로 의에 이르는 줄 알지 못하느냐?

17  But¹¹⁶¹ God be thanked,^{2316, 5485} that³⁷⁵⁴ ye were²²⁵⁸ the servants¹⁴⁰¹ of sin,²⁶⁶ but¹¹⁶¹ ye have obeyed⁵²¹⁹ from¹⁵³⁷ the heart²⁵⁸⁸ that form⁵¹⁷⁹ of doctrine^{1322, (1519)} which³⁷³⁹ was delivered³⁸⁶⁰ you.

17 하나님께G2316 감사하리로다G5485 너희가 본래 죄의 종G1401이더니 너희에게 전하여 준바 교훈의G1322, (G1519)   본을G5179 마음2588으로G1537 순종하여G5219

17  But thanks be to our God that you were the slaves of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered.

17  엘로힘(하나님)께 감사드리는 것은 너희가 죄의 종이었으나 너희에게 전하여 준 교리의 본을 마음으로부터 순종하여

18  Being then⁽¹¹⁶¹⁾ made free¹⁶⁵⁹ from⁵⁷⁵ sin,²⁶⁶ ye became the servants¹⁴⁰² of righteousness.¹³⁴³

18  죄에게서 해방되어G1659  의에게 종이 되었느니라

18  Then being made free from sin, you became the slaves of righteousness.

18  죄에서 해방되어 의의 종이 되었음이라.

19  I speak³⁰⁰⁴ after the manner of men⁴⁴² because¹²²³ of the³⁵⁸⁸ infirmity⁷⁶⁹ of your⁵²¹⁶ flesh:⁴⁵⁶¹ for¹⁰⁶³ as⁵⁶¹⁸ ye have yielded³⁹³⁶ your⁵²¹⁶ members³¹⁹⁶ servants¹⁴⁰⁰ to uncleanness¹⁶⁷ and²⁵³² to iniquity⁴⁵⁸ unto¹⁵¹⁹ iniquity;⁴⁵⁸ even so³⁷⁷⁹ now³⁵⁶⁸ yield³⁹³⁶ your⁵²¹⁶ members³¹⁹⁶ servants¹⁴⁰⁰ to righteousness¹³⁴³ unto¹⁵¹⁹ holiness.³⁸

19  너희 육신이G4561 연약하G769므로 내가 사람의 예대로 말하노니 전에 너희가 너희 지체를 부정과 불법에 드려 불법에 이른것 같이 이제는 너희 지체를 의에게 종으로 드려 거룩함에G38 이르라

19  I speak in the manner of men because of the weakness of your flesh; for as you have yielded your members as slaves to uncleanness, and to lawless act unto lawless act, even so now yield your members as slaves to righteousness unto holiness.

19  너희의 육신이 연약하므로 내가 사람의 방식대로 말하노니, 전에는 너희가 너희 지체를 부정과 불법의 종으로 내어 주어 불법에 이른 것같이, 이제는 너희 지체를 의의 종으로 드려 거룩함에 이르라.

거룩함에:  롬_6:22

20  For¹⁰⁶³ when³⁷⁵³ ye were²²⁵⁸ the servants¹⁴⁰¹ of sin,²⁶⁶ ye were²²⁵⁸ free¹⁶⁵⁸ from righteousness.¹³⁴³

20  너희가 죄의 종이 되었을 때에는 의에 대하여 자유하였느니라

20  For when you were the slaves of sin, you were free from righteousness.

20  너희가 죄의 종이었을 때에는 의로부터는 자유로웠느니라.

21  What⁵¹⁰¹ fruit^{2590 (3767)} had²¹⁹² ye then⁵¹¹⁹ in¹⁹⁰⁹ those things whereof³⁷³⁹ ye are now ashamed?^{1870, 3568} for¹⁰⁶³ the³⁵⁸⁸ end⁵⁰⁵⁶ of those things¹⁵⁶⁵ is death.²²⁸⁸

21 너희가 그 때에 무슨 열매를2590 얻었느뇨 이제는 너희가 그 일을 부끄러워하나니 이는 그 마지막이 G5056사망임이니라(is deathG2288)

21  What fruit did you have then in those things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

21 그런즉 너희가 지금 부끄럽게 여기는 그 일들에서 그때에 무슨 열매를 얻었느냐? 그런 일들의 끝은 사망이니라.

22  But¹¹⁶¹ now³⁵⁷⁰ being made free¹⁶⁵⁹ from⁵⁷⁵ sin,²⁶⁶ and¹¹⁶¹ become servants¹⁴⁰² to God,²³¹⁶ ye have²¹⁹² your⁵²¹⁶ fruit²⁵⁹⁰ unto¹⁵¹⁹ holiness,³⁸ and¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ end⁵⁰⁵⁶ everlasting¹⁶⁶ life.²²²²

22  그러나 이제는 너희가 죄에게서 해방되고 하나님께G2316 종이 되어 거룩함에 이르는 열매를 얻었으니 이 마지막은 영생이라

22  But now, being made free from sin, and having become slaves to God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.

22  그러나 이제는 너희가 죄로부터 자유롭게 되고 엘로힘(하나님)의 종이 되어 거룩함에 이르는 열매를 얻었으니, 그 끝은 영생이니라.

23  For¹⁰⁶³ the³⁵⁸⁸ wages³⁸⁰⁰ of sin²⁶⁶ is death;²²⁸⁸ but¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ gift⁵⁴⁸⁶ of God²³¹⁶ is eternal¹⁶⁶ life²²²² through¹⁷²² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ our²²⁵⁷ Lord.²⁹⁶²

23  죄의 삯은(wagesG3800) 사망이요G2288 하나님의G2316 은사는G5486 그리스도G5547 예수G2424 우리 주G2962 안에 있는 영생이니라

23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

23  이는 죄의 삯은 사망이요, 엘로힘(하나님)의 선물은 야슈아(예수) 마쉬악(그리스도) 우리 아도나이(주)로 말미암은 영원한 생명이기 때문이라.
