1  I say³⁰⁰⁴ then,³⁷⁶⁷ Hath⁽³³⁶¹⁾ God²³¹⁶ cast away⁶⁸³ his⁸⁴⁸ people?²⁹⁹² God forbid.^{1096, 3361} For¹⁰⁶³ I¹⁴⁷³ also²⁵³² am¹⁵¹⁰ an Israelite,²⁴⁷⁵ of¹⁵³⁷ the seed⁴⁶⁹⁰ of Abraham,¹¹ of the tribe⁵⁴⁴³ of Benjamin.⁹⁵⁸

1  그러므로(thenG3767) 내가 말하노니( I sayG3004) 하나님이(GodG2316 ) 자기(hisG848) 백성을(peopleG2992) 버리셨느뇨(cast awayG683) 그럴 수 없느니라(God forbidG1096, G3361) 나(I1473)도(also2532) 이스라엘인( an IsraeliteG2475)이요(amG1510) 아브라함의( of AbrahamG11) 씨(the seedG4690)에서(ofG1537) 난 자요 베냐민(of BenjaminG958) 지파라(of the tribeG5443)

1  I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

1   그렇다면 내가 말하노니, 엘로힘(하나님)께서 자기 백성을 버리셨느냐? 결코 그럴 수 없느니라. 나도 이스라엘인이요, 아브라함의 씨에서 났으며, 베냐민 지파라.

2  God²³¹⁶ hath not³⁷⁵⁶ cast away⁶⁸³ his⁸⁴⁸ people²⁹⁹² which³⁷³⁹ he foreknew.^{4267, (2228)} Wot¹⁴⁹² ye not³⁷⁵⁶ what⁵¹⁰¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Scripture¹¹²⁴ saith³⁰⁰⁴ of¹⁷²² Elijah?²²⁴³ how⁵⁶¹³ he maketh intercession¹⁷⁹³ to God²³¹⁶ against²⁵⁹⁶ Israel,²⁴⁷⁴ saying,³⁰⁰⁴

2  하나님이G2316 그 미리 아신 자기(G4267^{, (} G2228⁾) 백성을 버리지 아니하셨나니 너희가 성경이G1124  엘리야를G2243 가리켜 말한 것을 알지 못하느냐 저가 이스라엘을 하나님께G2316 송사하되

2  God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the Scripture saith of Elijah? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

2  엘로힘(하나님)께서 미리 아신 자기 백성을 버리지 아니하셨느니라. 너희는 성경이 엘리야에 관하여 말한 것을 모르느냐? 그가 엘로힘(하나님)께 이스라엘에 대하여 중보하여 말씀드리기를

3  Lord,²⁹⁶² they have killed⁶¹⁵ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ prophets,⁴³⁹⁶ and²⁵³² digged down²⁶⁷⁹ thine⁴⁶⁷⁵ altars;²³⁷⁹ and I²⁵⁰⁴ am left⁵²⁷⁵ alone,³⁴⁴¹ and²⁵³² they seek²²¹² my³⁴⁵⁰ life.⁵⁵⁹⁰

3  주여G2962 저희가 주의 선지자들을G4396 죽였으며 주의 제단들을G2379 헐어버렸고 나만 남았는데 내 목숨G5590도 찾나이다 하니

3  Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

3  "야훼(주G2962)여, 그들이 당신(주)의 선지자들을 죽였으며 당신(주)의 제단들을 헐어 버렸고 나만 홀로 남았는데 그들이 나의 생명을 찾고 있나이다." 하니

4  But²³⁵ what⁵¹⁰¹ saith³⁰⁰⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ answer of God⁵⁵³⁸ unto him?⁸⁴⁶ I have reserved²⁶⁴¹ to myself¹⁶⁸³ seven thousand²⁰³⁵ men,⁴³⁵ who³⁷⁴⁸ have not³⁷⁵⁶ bowed²⁵⁷⁸ the knee¹¹¹⁹ to the image of Baal.⁸⁹⁶

4  저에게 하신 대답이 무엇이뇨 내가 나를 위하여 바알에게G896 무릎을 꿇지2578 아니한 사람 칠천을 남겨 두었다 하셨으니

4  But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

4  엘로힘(하나님)께서 그에게 하신 대답이 무엇이냐? "내가 나를 위하여 바알의 형상에 무릎을 꿇지 아니한 칠천 명을 남겨 두었노라." 하셨느니라.

5  Even so³⁷⁷⁹ then³⁷⁶⁷ at¹⁷²² this present³⁵⁶⁸ time²⁵⁴⁰ also²⁵³² there is¹⁰⁹⁶ a remnant³⁰⁰⁵ according²⁵⁹⁶ to the election¹⁵⁸⁹ of grace.⁵⁴⁸⁵

5  그런즉 이와 같이 이제도 은혜로G5485 택하심을G1589 따라2596 남은 자가G3005 있느니라

5  Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

5    그러므로 이와 같이 지금도 은혜의 선택하심을 따라 남은 자가 있느니라.

6  And¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ by grace,⁵⁴⁸⁵ then is it no more³⁷⁶⁵ of¹⁵³⁷ works:²⁰⁴¹ otherwise¹⁸⁹³ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ is¹⁰⁹⁶ no more³⁷⁶⁵ grace.⁵⁴⁸⁵ But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ it be of¹⁵³⁷ works,²⁰⁴¹ then is²⁰⁷⁶ it no more³⁷⁶⁵ grace:⁵⁴⁸⁵ otherwise¹⁸⁹³ work²⁰⁴¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ no more³⁷⁶⁵ work.²⁰⁴¹

6  만일 은혜로 된것이면 행위로G2041 말미암지 않음이니 그렇지 않으면 은혜가 은혜되지 못하느니라

6  And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

6  은혜로 된 것이면 더이상 행위가 아니니, 그렇지 아니하면 은혜가 더이상 은혜가 아니니라. 그러나 행위로 된 것이면 그것은 더이상 은혜가 아니니, 그렇지 아니하면 행위는 더이상 행위가 아니니라.

7  What⁵¹⁰¹ then?³⁷⁶⁷ Israel²⁴⁷⁴ hath⁽⁵¹²⁷⁾ not³⁷⁵⁶ obtained²⁰¹³ that which³⁷³⁹ he seeketh for;¹⁹³⁴ but¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ election¹⁵⁸⁹ hath obtained²⁰¹³ it, and¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ rest³⁰⁶² were blinded.⁴⁴⁵⁶

7  그런즉 어떠하뇨 이스라엘이 구하는 그것을 얻지 못하고 오직 택하심을 입은 자가 얻었고 그 남은 자들은 완악하여졌느니라G4456

7  What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

7  그러면 무엇이냐? 이스라엘이 구하는 그것을 얻지 못하였고 오히려 선택된 자들이 그것을 얻었으며 그 나머지는 완고해졌느니라.

8  (According as²⁵³¹ it is written,¹¹²⁵ God²³¹⁶ hath given¹³²⁵ them⁸⁴⁶ the spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of slumber,²⁶⁵⁹ eyes³⁷⁸⁸ that they should not³³⁶¹ see,⁹⁹¹ and²⁵³² ears³⁷⁷⁵ that they should not³³⁶¹ hear;)¹⁹¹ unto²¹⁹³ this⁴⁵⁹⁴ day.²²⁵⁰

8  기록된바 하나님이G2316 오늘날까지 저희에게 혼미한2659 심령G4151과 보지 못할 눈G3788과 듣지 못할 귀를G3775 주셨다 함과 같으니라

8  (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

8  (기록된 바와 같이 "야훼(하나님)께서 오늘까지 그들에게 혼미한 영과 보지 못할 눈과 듣지 못할 귀를 주셨노라." 하였느니라.)

9  And²⁵³² David¹¹³⁸ saith,³⁰⁰⁴ Let their⁸⁴⁸ table⁵¹³² be made¹⁰⁹⁶ a⁽¹⁵¹⁹⁾ snare,³⁸⁰³ and²⁵³² a⁽¹⁵¹⁹⁾ trap,²³³⁹ and²⁵³² a⁽¹⁵¹⁹⁾ stumblingblock,⁴⁶²⁵ and²⁵³² a⁽¹⁵¹⁹⁾ recompense⁴⁶⁸ unto them:⁸⁴⁶

9  또 다윗이 가로되 저희 밥상이 올무G3803와 덫G2339과 거치는 것G4625과 보응이G468 되게 하옵시고

9  And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them:

10  Let their⁸⁴⁸ eyes³⁷⁸⁸ be darkened,⁴⁶⁵⁴ that they may not³³⁶¹ see,⁹⁹¹ and²⁵³² bow down⁴⁷⁸¹ their⁸⁴⁸ back³⁵⁷⁷ always.¹²⁷⁵

10  저희 눈은 흐려G4654 보지 못하고 저희 등은 항상 굽게 하옵소서 하였느니라

10  Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back always.

10  그들의 눈이 어두워져서 보지 못하게 하시고 그들의 등이 항상 굽혀지게 하소서." 하였느니라.

11  I say³⁰⁰⁴ then,³⁷⁶⁷ Have they⁽³³⁶¹⁾ stumbled⁴⁴¹⁷ that²⁴⁴³ they should fall?⁴⁰⁹⁸ God forbid:^{1096, 3361} but²³⁵ rather through their⁸⁴⁸ fall³⁹⁰⁰ salvation⁴⁹⁹¹ is come unto the³⁵⁸⁸ Gentiles,¹⁴⁸⁴ for to provoke them to jealousy.^{3863, 846}

11  그러므로 내가 말하노니 저희가 넘어지기까지 실족하였느뇨 그럴 수 없느니라 저희의 넘어짐으로 구원이G4991 이방인G1484에게 이르러 이스라엘로 시기나게 함이니라

11  I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

11  그러면 내가 말하노니, 그들이 실족함으로 넘어졌느냐? 결코 그럴 수 없느니라. 도리어 그들의 실족으로 구원이 이방인들에게 이르렀으니, 이는 그들로 시기하게 하려 함이니라.

실족함:  겔_18:23, 겔_18:32, 겔_33:11

12  Now¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ fall³⁹⁰⁰ of them⁸⁴⁸ be the riches⁴¹⁴⁹ of the world,²⁸⁸⁹ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ diminishing²²⁷⁵ of them⁸⁴⁸ the riches⁴¹⁴⁹ of the Gentiles;¹⁴⁸⁴ how much⁴²¹⁴ more³¹²³ their⁸⁴⁸ fullness?⁴¹³⁸

12  저희의 넘어짐이G3900  세상의G2889 부요함이 되며G4149 저희의 실패가G2275 이방인의 부요함이 되거든 하물며 저희의 충만함이리요

12  Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?

12  그들의 실족함이 세상의 부요함이 되고 그들의 쇠퇴가 이방인들의 부요함이 되었다면, 하물며 그들의 충만함은 어떠하겠느냐?

13  For¹⁰⁶³ I speak³⁰⁰⁴ to you⁵²¹³ Gentiles,¹⁴⁸⁴ inasmuch as^{1909, 3745, 3303} I¹⁴⁷³ am¹⁵¹⁰ the apostle⁶⁵² of the Gentiles,¹⁴⁸⁴ I magnify¹³⁹² mine³⁴⁵⁰ office:¹²⁴⁸

13  내가 이방인인 너희에게 말하노라 내가 이방인의 사도 G652 인만큼 내 직분을G1248  영광스럽게 여기노니

13  For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

13  내가 이방인인 너희에게 말하노라. 내가 이방인들의 사도이기에 나의 직분을 영광스럽게 여기나니

14  If by any means¹⁵¹³ I may provoke to emulation³⁸⁶³ them which are my³⁴⁵⁰ flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ and²⁵³² might save⁴⁹⁸² some⁵¹⁰⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ them.⁸⁴⁶

14  이는 곧 내 골육을 아무쪼록 시기케 하여G3863 저희 중에서 얼마를 구원하려 함이라

14  If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

14 이는 아무쪼록 내가 나의 동족을 시기나게 하여 그들 가운데 얼마라도 구원하려 함이라.

15  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ casting away⁵⁸⁰ of them⁸⁴⁶ be the reconciling²⁶⁴³ of the world,²⁸⁸⁹ what⁵¹⁰¹ shall the³⁵⁸⁸ receiving⁴³⁵⁶ of them be, but¹⁵⁰⁸ life²²²² from¹⁵³⁷ the dead?³⁴⁹⁸

15  저희를 버리는 것이 세상의 화목이 되(be the reconciling2643 )거든그 받아들이는 것이 죽은 자 가운데서 사는 것이 아니면 무엇이리요

15  For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

15  그들을 버리는 것이 세상의 화해가 된다면 그들을 받아들임은 죽은 자들로부터 살아나는 생명이 아니고 무엇이겠느냐?

16  For¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ firstfruit⁵³⁶ be holy,⁴⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ lump⁵⁴⁴⁵ is also²⁵³² holy: and²⁵³² if¹⁴⁸⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ root⁴⁴⁹¹ be holy,⁴⁰ so²⁵³² are the³⁵⁸⁸ branches.²⁷⁹⁸

16  제사하는 처음 익은 곡식가루가(firstfruitG536) 거룩한즉 떡덩이도 그러하고 뿌리가 거룩한즉 가지도 그러하니라

16  For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

16  첫열매가 거룩하면 빵 덩어리도 거룩하고, 또 뿌리가 거룩하면 그 가지도 거룩하니라.

17  And¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ some⁵¹⁰⁰ of the³⁵⁸⁸ branches²⁷⁹⁸ be broken off,¹⁵⁷⁵ and¹¹⁶¹ thou,⁴⁷⁷¹ being⁵⁶⁰⁷ a wild olive tree,⁶⁵ wert grafted in¹⁴⁶¹ among¹⁷²² them,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² with them⁽¹⁰⁹⁶⁾ partakest⁴⁷⁹¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ root⁴⁴⁹¹ and²⁵³² fatness⁴⁰⁹⁶ of the³⁵⁸⁸ olive tree;¹⁶³⁶

17  또한 가지(branchesG2798) 얼마가 꺾여졌는데 돌감람나무(a wild olive tree G65)인 네가 그들 중에 접붙임이 되어(wert grafted in G1461) 참감람나무(olive tree;G1636) 뿌리(rootG4491)의 진액(津液)을 함께 받는 자(partakestG4791) 되었은즉

17  And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

17  그러나 만일 가지들 가운데 얼마가 꺾여지고 돌올리브 나무인 네가 그들 가운데 접붙여져서 올리브 나무의 뿌리와 기름진 것을 함께 받게 되었다면

얼마:  시_80:11-16; 사_6:13,사_27:11; 렘_11:16; 겔_15:6-8; 마_8:11, 마_8:12; 마_21:43; 요_15:6

18  Boast not against^{2620, 3361} the³⁵⁸⁸ branches.²⁷⁹⁸ But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ thou boast,²⁶²⁰ thou⁴⁷⁷¹ bearest⁹⁴¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ root,⁴⁴⁹¹ but²³⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ root⁴⁴⁹¹ thee.⁴⁵⁷¹

18  그 가지들을 향하여 자긍하지 말라( Boast not against2620, G3361) 자긍할지라도 네가 뿌리를 보전하는G941  것이 아니요 뿌리가 너를 보전하는 것이니라

18  Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

18    그 가지들에게 자랑하지 말라. 네가 자랑하여도 네가 뿌리를 지탱하는 것이 아니요 뿌리가 너를 지탱하는 것이니라.

지탱하는:  롬_4:16; 슥_8:20-23; 요_10:16; 갈_3:29; 엡_2:19, 엡_2:20

19  Thou wilt say²⁰⁴⁶ then,³⁷⁶⁷ The³⁵⁸⁸ branches²⁷⁹⁸ were broken off,¹⁵⁷⁵ that²⁴⁴³ I¹⁴⁷³ might be grafted in.¹⁴⁶¹

19  그러면 네 말이 가지들이 꺾이운 것은 나로 접붙임을 받게 하려 함이라 하리니

19  Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.

19  그러면 네가 말하기를 "가지들이 꺾인 것은 내가 접붙여지기 위한 것이라." 하리라.

20  Well;²⁵⁷³ because of unbelief⁵⁷⁰ they were broken off,¹⁵⁷⁵ and¹¹⁶¹ thou⁴⁷⁷¹ standest²⁴⁷⁶ by faith.⁴¹⁰² Be not highminded,^{5309, 3361} but²³⁵ fear:⁵³⁹⁹

20  옳도다 저희는 믿지 아니하므로G570 꺾이우고 너는 믿으므로 섰느니라 높은 마음을 품지 말고 도리어 두려워하라G5399

20  Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

20    옳도다. 그들은 믿지 아니함으로 꺾여졌고 너는 믿음으로 섰느니라. 높아지려는 생각을 품지 말고 도리어 두려워하라.

21  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ God²³¹⁶ spared⁵³³⁹ not³⁷⁵⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ natural^{2596, 5449} branches,²⁷⁹⁸ take heed lest³³⁸¹ he also spare⁵³³⁹ not³⁷⁶¹ thee.⁴⁶⁷⁵

21  하나님이G2316 원 가지들도 아끼지 아니하셨은즉 너도 아끼지 아니하시리라

21  For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

21 하나님(하나님)께서 본래의 가지들도 아끼지 아니하셨으니 너도 아끼지 아니하실까 주의하라.

22  Behold¹⁴⁹² therefore³⁷⁶⁷ the goodness⁵⁵⁴⁴ and²⁵³² severity⁶⁶³ of God:²³¹⁶ on^{1909, (3303)} them which fell,⁴⁰⁹⁸ severity;⁶⁶³ but¹¹⁶¹ toward¹⁹⁰⁹ thee,⁴⁵⁷¹ goodness,⁵⁵⁴⁴ if¹⁴³⁷ thou continue in¹⁹⁶¹ his goodness:⁵⁵⁴⁴ otherwise¹⁸⁹³ thou⁴⁷⁷¹ also²⁵³² shalt be cut off.¹⁵⁸¹

22  그러므로 하나님의G2316 인자G5544와 엄위를G663 보라 넘어지는 자들에게는 엄위가 있으니 너희가 만일 하나님의 인자에 거하면 그 인자가 너희에게 있으리라 그렇지 않으면 너도 찍히는바 되리라

22  Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

22  그러므로 야훼(하나님)의 선하심과 준엄하심을 보라. 넘어지는 자들에게는 준엄하시니, 만일 네가 그 분의 선하심에 머물면 그 선하심이 너에게 있을 것이나 그렇지 아니하면 너도 꺾이리라.

그러므로:  롬_2:4, 롬_2:5, 롬_9:22, 롬_9:23; 민_14:18-22; 신_32:39-43; 수_23:15, 수_23:16; 시_58:10,시_58:11; 시_78:49-52, 시_136:15-22; 사_66:14

23  And¹¹⁶¹ they¹⁵⁶⁵ also,²⁵³² if they abide not^{3362, 1961} still in unbelief,⁵⁷⁰ shall be grafted in:¹⁴⁶¹ for¹⁰⁶³ God²³¹⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ able¹⁴¹⁵ to graft them in^{1461, 846} again.³⁸²⁵

23  저희도 믿지 아니하는데 거하지 아니하면 접붙임을 얻으리니 이는 저희를 접붙이실 능력이G1415 하나님께G2316 있음이라

23  And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

23   또 그들도 믿지 않는 가운데 계속 머물지 아니하면 접붙임을 받을 것이니라. 이는 엘로힘(하나님)께서 그들을 다시 접붙이실 수 있기 때문이라.

24  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ thou⁴⁷⁷¹ wert cut¹⁵⁸¹ out¹⁵³⁷ of the³⁵⁸⁸ olive tree which is wild⁶⁵ by²⁵⁹⁶ nature,⁵⁴⁴⁹ and²⁵³² wert grafted¹⁴⁶¹ contrary³⁸⁴⁴ to nature⁵⁴⁴⁹ into¹⁵¹⁹ a good olive tree:²⁵⁶⁵ how much⁴²¹⁴ more³¹²³ shall these,³⁷⁷⁸ which³⁵⁸⁸ be the natural^{2596, 5449} branches, be grafted into¹⁴⁶¹ their own²³⁹⁸ olive tree?¹⁶³⁶

24  네가 원 돌감람나무에서 찍힘을 받고 본성을 거스려 좋은 감람나무에 접붙임을 얻었은즉 원 가지인 이 사람들이야 얼마나 더 자기 감람나무에 접붙이심을 얻으랴

24  For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

24    네가 본래의 돌올리브 나무에서 꺾여 본성을 거슬러 참올리브 나무에 접붙여졌는데, 하물며 본래의 가지인 이 사람들이야 본래의 올리브 나무에 얼마나 더 잘 접붙여지겠느냐?

25  For¹⁰⁶³ I would²³⁰⁹ not,³⁷⁵⁶ brethren,⁸⁰ that ye⁵²⁰⁹ should be ignorant⁵⁰ of this⁵¹²⁴ mystery,³⁴⁶⁶ lest³³⁶³ ye should be⁵⁶⁰⁰ wise⁵⁴²⁹ in³⁸⁴⁴ your own conceits;¹⁴³⁸ that³⁷⁵⁴ blindness⁴⁴⁵⁷ in⁵⁷⁵ part³³¹³ is happened¹⁰⁹⁶ to Israel,²⁴⁷⁴ until^{891, 3757} the³⁵⁸⁸ fullness⁴¹³⁸ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Gentiles¹⁴⁸⁴ be come in.¹⁵²⁵

25  형제들아 너희가 스스로 지혜 있다 함을 면키 위하여 이 비밀을G3466 너희가 모르기를 내가 원치 아니하노니 이 비밀은G3466 이방인G1484 의 충만한 수가 들어오기까지 이스라엘의 더러는 완악하게 된 것이라

25  For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

25   형제들아, 너희가 스스로 현명하다고 자만하지 않게 하기 위하여 이 신비를 너희가 모르기를 내가 원치 아니하노니, 이는 이방인들의 충만함이 차기까지는 이스라엘의 일부가 완고하게 된 것이라.

26  그리하여 온 이스라엘이 구원을 얻으리라 기록된바 구원자가G4506 시온G4622에서 오사 야곱에게서 경건치 않은 것을 돌이키시겠고

26  And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

26  그리하여 온 이스라엘이 구원을 받으리라. 기록된 바와 같이 "구원자가 시온에서 와서 야곱에게서 경건치 아니한 것을 제거하리라.

27  For²⁵³² this³⁷⁷⁸ is⁽³⁸⁴⁴⁾ my¹⁷⁰⁰ covenant¹²⁴² unto them,⁸⁴⁶ when³⁷⁵² I shall take away⁸⁵¹ their⁸⁴⁸ sins.²⁶⁶

27  내가 저희 죄를 없이 할 때에 저희에게 이루어질 내 언약이G1242 이것이라 함과 같으니라

27  For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

27  이는 내가 그들의 죄들을 없앨 때 그들에 대한 나의 언약이 이것임이니라." 함과 같으니라.

28  As concerning^{2596, (3303)} the³⁵⁸⁸ gospel,²⁰⁹⁸ they are enemies²¹⁹⁰ for your sakes:^{1223, 5209} but¹¹⁶¹ as touching²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ election,¹⁵⁸⁹ they are beloved²⁷ for the fathers' sakes.^{1223, 3588, 3962}

28  복음으로 하면 저희가 너희를 인하여 원수 된 자요 택하심으로 하면 조상들을 인하여 사랑을 입은 자라

28  As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

28   복음G2098에 관하여는 그들이 너희로 인하여 원수가G2190  되었으나 선택에G1589  있어서는 그들의 조상으로 인하여 사랑을 받는 자들이라.

29  For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

29  이는 엘로힘(하나님)의 은사와 부르심에는 후회가 없으심이니라.

30  For¹⁰⁶³ as⁵⁶¹⁸ ye⁵²¹⁰ in times past⁴²¹⁸ have⁽²⁵³²⁾ not believed⁵⁴⁴ God,²³¹⁶ yet¹¹⁶¹ have now³⁵⁶⁸ obtained mercy¹⁶⁵³ through their⁵¹³⁰ unbelief:⁵⁴³

30  너희가 전에 하나님께G2316 순종치 아니하더니G544  이스라엘의 순종치 아니함으로 이제 긍휼을  입었는지라G1653

30  For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

30  너희도 지나간 때에는 엘로힘(하나님)을 믿지 아니하더니, 이제는 그들이 믿지 아니함으로 인하여 자비를 얻었느니라.

31  Even so³⁷⁷⁹ have these³⁷⁷⁸ also²⁵³² now³⁵⁶⁸ not believed,⁵⁴⁴ that²⁴⁴³ through your⁵²¹² mercy¹⁶⁵⁶ they⁸⁴⁶ also²⁵³² may obtain mercy.¹⁶⁵³

31  이와 같이 이 사람들이 순종치 아니하니 이는 너희에게 베푸시는 긍휼로 이제 저희도 긍휼을 얻게 하려 하심이니라

31  Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

31  이와 같이 이제 이들이 믿지 아니하였던 것은 너희의 자비를 통하여 그들도 자비를 얻게 하려 함이라.

32  For¹⁰⁶³ God²³¹⁶ hath concluded⁴⁷⁸⁸ them all³⁹⁵⁶ in¹⁵¹⁹ unbelief,⁵⁴³ that²⁴⁴³ he might have mercy¹⁶⁵³ upon all.³⁹⁵⁶

32  하나님이G2316 모든 사람을 순종치 아니하는 가운데 가두어 두심은 모든 사람에게 긍휼을 베풀려 하심이로다

32  For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

32  엘로힘(하나님)께서 그들 모두를 믿지 않는 가운데 가두어 두심은 모든 사람에게 자비를 베풀려 하심이니라.

33  O⁵⁵⁹⁹ the depth⁸⁹⁹ of the riches⁴¹⁴⁹ both²⁵³² of the wisdom⁴⁶⁷⁸ and²⁵³² knowledge¹¹⁰⁸ of God!²³¹⁶ how⁵⁶¹³ unsearchable⁴¹⁹ are his⁸⁴⁸ judgments,²⁹¹⁷ and²⁵³² his⁸⁴⁸ ways³⁵⁹⁸ past finding out!⁴²¹

33  깊도다 하나님의G2316 지혜G4678와 지식G1108의 부요함이여 그의 판단은 측량치 못할 것이며 그의 길은 찾지 못할 것이로다

33  O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

33  오, 깊도다, 야훼(하나님)의 지혜와 지식의 부요함이여! 그 분의 심판을 어찌 헤아리며 그 분의 지나간 길을 어찌 찾아 내리요?

34  누가 주의G2962 마음을G3563 알았느뇨 누가 그의 모사가G4825 되었느뇨

34  For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counselor?

34  누가 야훼(주)의 생각을 알았느냐? 누가 그 분의 의논자가 되었느냐?

35  Or²²²⁸ who⁵¹⁰¹ hath first given⁴²⁷² to him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² it shall be recompensed⁴⁶⁷ unto him⁸⁴⁶ again?

35  누가 주께 먼저 드려서 갚으심을 받겠느뇨

35  Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?

35  누가 먼저 그 분께 드려서 되돌려 받겠느냐?

36  For³⁷⁵⁴ of¹⁵³⁷ him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² through¹²²³ him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² to¹⁵¹⁹ him,⁸⁴⁶ are all things:³⁹⁵⁶ to whom⁸⁴⁶ be glory¹³⁹¹ forever.^{1519, 165} Amen.²⁸¹

36  이는 만물이 주에게서 나오고 주로 말미암고 주에게로 돌아감이라 영광이G1391 그에게 세세에 있으리로다 아멘G281 

36  For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen.

36  이는 만물이 그 분께로부터 나와 그 분을 통하여 그 분께로 돌아감이라. 영광이 그 분께 영원히 있으리로다. 아멘.
