1  Now¹¹⁶¹ as touching⁴⁰¹² things offered unto idols,¹⁴⁹⁴ we know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ we all³⁹⁵⁶ have²¹⁹² knowledge.¹¹⁰⁸ Knowledge¹¹⁰⁸ puffeth up,⁵⁴⁴⁸ but¹¹⁶¹ charity²⁶ edifieth.³⁶¹⁸

1  우상의 제물에(things offered unto idols,G1494) 대하여는( as touchingG4012) 우리가(we knowG1492 ) 다(we allG3956) 지식이(knowledgeG1108) 있는( haveG2192) 줄을(thatG3754) 아나(we knowG1494) 지식은(KnowledgeG1108) 교만하게 하며( puffeth up,G5448) 사랑은(charityG26) 덕을 세우나니(edifiethG3618)

1  Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

1  우상들에게 바쳐진 것들에 관하여는 우리 모두에게 지식이 있음을 알거니와 지식은 교만하게 하지만 사랑은 세워 주느니라.

바쳐진 것들: 행_15:29,  행_21:25

2  And¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ think¹³⁸⁰ that he knoweth¹⁴⁹² any thing,⁵¹⁰⁰ he knoweth¹⁰⁹⁷ nothing³⁷⁶² yet³⁷⁶⁴ as²⁵³¹ he ought¹¹⁶³ to know.¹⁰⁹⁷

2  만일G1487  누구든지 무엇을 아는 줄로 생각하면G1380 아직도 마땅히G1163  알 것을G1097 알지 못하는 것이요

2  And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

2   만일 누구라도 무엇이든지 안다고 생각하면 그가 마땅히 알아야 할 것은 아직 아무것도 모르는 것이요

3  But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ love²⁵ God,²³¹⁶ the same³⁷⁷⁸ is known¹⁰⁹⁷ of⁵²⁵⁹ him.⁸⁴⁶

3  또 누구든지 하나님을G2316 사랑하면G25 이 사람은 하나님(him.G846)의 아시는바 되었느니라

3  But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

3  만일 누구라도 하나님(엘로힘)을 사랑한다면 그는 그 분께 알려진 사람이라.

4  As concerning⁴⁰¹² therefore³⁷⁶⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ eating¹⁰³⁵ of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols,¹⁴⁹⁴ we know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ an idol¹⁴⁹⁷ is nothing³⁷⁶² in¹⁷²² the world,²⁸⁸⁹ and²⁵³² that³⁷⁵⁴ there is none³⁷⁶² other²⁰⁸⁷ God²³¹⁶ but¹⁵⁰⁸ one.¹⁵²⁰

4  그러므로 우상의 제물( of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idolsG1494) 먹는 일에(theG3588 eatingG1035) 대하여는 우리가 우상은 세상G2889에 아무 것도 아니며(is nothingG3762) 또한 하나님은G2316 한분(one.G1520) 밖에 없는줄 아노라( we knowG1492)

4  As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.

4   그러므로 우상들에게 바쳐진 제물을 먹는 일에 관하여 우리가 아는 것은, 우상들은 세상에서 아무것도 아니며, 하나님(엘로힘)은 한 분 밖에 계시지 아니한다는 것이라.

5  For¹⁰⁶³ though^{2532, 1512} there be¹⁵²⁶ that are called³⁰⁰⁴ gods,²³¹⁶ whether¹⁵³⁵ in¹⁷²² heaven³⁷⁷² or¹⁵³⁵ in¹⁹⁰⁹ earth,¹⁰⁹³ (as⁵⁶¹⁸ there be¹⁵²⁶ gods²³¹⁶ many,⁴¹⁸³ and²⁵³² lords²⁹⁶² many,)⁴¹⁸³

5  비록 하늘에나 땅에나 신이라G2316 칭하는 자가( that are calledG3004) 있어 많은 신과 많은 주가G2962 있으나

5  For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

5  비록 하늘에나 땅에나 신들이라고 불리우는 (많은 신들과 많은 주들이 있어도)

6  But²³⁵ to us²²⁵⁴ there is but one¹⁵²⁰ God,²³¹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ Father,³⁹⁶² of¹⁵³⁷ whom³⁷³⁹ are all things,³⁹⁵⁶ and²⁵³² we²²⁴⁹ in¹⁵¹⁹ him;⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² one¹⁵²⁰ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ by¹²²³ whom³⁷³⁹ are all things,³⁹⁵⁶ and²⁵³² we²²⁴⁹ by¹²²³ him.⁸⁴⁶

6  그러나 우리에게는 한(there is but oneG1520) 하나님G2316 곧 아버지가 계시니( theG3588 Father,G396) 만물이(are all things,G3956) 그에게서 났고(are all things,G3956) 우리도 그를 위하여 또한 한 주G2962 예수G2424 그리스도께서G5547 계시니 만물이 그로 말미암고 우리도 그로 말미암았느니라

6  But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

6  우리에게는 오직 한 분 하나님(엘로힘), 아버지가 계시니, 만물이 그분께로부터 났고, 우리도 그분 안에 있으며, 또 한 분 주(아도나이H136) 예수(야슈아) 그리스도가(하 마쉬악께서H4899) 계시니, 만물이 그분을 통하여 있고, 우리도 그분을 통하여 있느니라.

7  Howbeit²³⁵ there is not³⁷⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² every man³⁹⁵⁶ that knowledge:¹¹⁰⁸ for¹¹⁶¹ some⁵¹⁰⁰ with conscience⁴⁸⁹³ of the³⁵⁸⁸ idol¹⁴⁹⁷ unto²¹⁹³ this hour⁷³⁷ eat²⁰⁶⁸ it as⁵⁶¹³ a thing offered unto an idol;¹⁴⁹⁴ and²⁵³² their⁸⁴⁸ conscience⁴⁸⁹³ being⁵⁶⁰⁷ weak⁷⁷² is defiled.³⁴³⁵

7  그러나 이 지식은( that knowledge:G1108) 사람마다G3956 가지지 못하여 어떤이들은 지금까지 우상에 대한 습관이 있어 우상의 제물로 알고 먹는고로 그들의 양심이G4893 약하여지고(beingG5607 weakG772) 더러워지느니라G3435

7  Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

7  그러나 이 지식은 사람마다 있는 것이 아니기에 어떤 사람들은 우상에게 바쳐진 것으로 알고 지금까지 우상에 대한 양심을 가지고 먹으므로 그들의 약한 양심이 더러워졌느니라.

8  But¹¹⁶¹ meat¹⁰³³ commendeth³⁹³⁶ us²²⁴⁸ not³⁷⁵⁶ to God:²³¹⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ neither,³⁷⁷⁷ if¹⁴³⁷ we eat,⁵³¹⁵ are we the better;⁴⁰⁵² neither,³⁷⁷⁷ if¹⁴³⁷ we eat⁵³¹⁵ not,³³⁶¹ are we the worse.⁵³⁰²

8  식물은G1033 우리를 하나님 앞에(to God:G2316) 세우지G3936 못하나니 우리가 먹지G5315 아니하여도 부족함이G5302 없고 먹어도G5315 풍족함이G4052 없으리라

8  But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.

8  그러나 음식은 우리를 하나님(엘로힘) 앞에 내세우지 못하나니 우리가 먹는다고 해서 더 나아질 것도 없고, 먹지 아니한다고 해서 더 나빠질 것도 없느니라.

음식:  고전_6:13; 롬_14:17; 골_2:20-23; 히_13:9

9  But¹¹⁶¹ take heed⁹⁹¹ lest by any means³³⁸¹ this³⁷⁷⁸ liberty¹⁸⁴⁹ of yours⁵²¹⁶ become¹⁰⁹⁶ a stumblingblock⁴³⁴⁸ to them that are weak.⁷⁷⁰

9  그런즉 너희 자유함이G1849 약한 자들에게 거치는 것이G4348 되지 않도록 조심하라G991

9  But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

9  그런즉 너희의 이러한 자유가 어떻게 해서든지 약한 사람들에게 거치는 것이 되지 않도록 유의하라.

거치는 것:  고전_10:32; 레_19:14; 사_57:14; 겔_14:3, 겔_44:12; 롬_14:13-15

약한 사람들:  고전_8:12, 고전_9:22; 사_35:3; 롬_14:1, 롬_14:2, 롬_15:1; 고후_11:21

10  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴³⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ see¹⁴⁹² thee⁴⁵⁷¹ which hast²¹⁹² knowledge¹¹⁰⁸ sit at meat²⁶²¹ in¹⁷²² the idol's temple,¹⁴⁹³ shall not³⁷⁸⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ conscience⁴⁸⁹³ of him⁸⁴⁶ which is⁵⁶⁰⁷ weak⁷⁷² be emboldened³⁶¹⁸ to eat²⁰⁶⁸ those things which are offered to idols;¹⁴⁹⁴

10  지식 있는 네가 우상의 집G1493에 앉아 먹는 것을(sit at meatG2621) 누구든지 보면 그 약한 자들의 양심이 담력을 얻어(be emboldenedG3618) 어찌 우상의 제물을G1494 먹게G2068되지 않겠느냐

10  For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;

10    지식이 있는 네가 우상의 전에 앉아 먹는 것을 누가 보면, 약한 양심을 지닌 그가 우상들에게 바쳐진 것들을 먹는 데 담대해지지 아니하겠느냐?

우상의 집 - G1493

11  And²⁵³² through¹⁹⁰⁹ thy⁴⁶⁷⁴ knowledge¹¹⁰⁸ shall the³⁵⁸⁸ weak⁷⁷⁰ brother⁸⁰ perish,⁶²² for¹²²³ whom³⁷³⁹ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ died?⁵⁹⁹

11  그러면 네 지식으로 그 약한 자가 멸망하나니(perish,G622) 그는 그리스도께서G5547 위하여 죽으신G599  형제라G80

11  And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

11    그러면 네 지식으로 인하여 그 약한 형제를 망치게 되리니, 그를 위하여 그리스도(마쉬악)께서 죽으셨느니라.

그러면:  고전_8:13, 고전_10:33, 고전_11:1; 롬_14:15, 롬_14:20,롬_14:21, 롬_15:1-3

12  But¹¹⁶¹ when ye sin²⁶⁴ so³⁷⁷⁹ against¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ brethren,⁸⁰ and²⁵³² wound⁵¹⁸⁰ their⁸⁴⁸ weak⁷⁷⁰ conscience,⁴⁸⁹³ ye sin²⁶⁴ against¹⁵¹⁹ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

12  이같이 너희가 형제에게 죄를 지어G264  그 약한 양심을 상하게 하는 것이 곧 그리스도G5547 에게 죄를 짓는 것이니라G264

12  But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

12  그러므로 너희가 형제들에게 그렇게 죄를 짓고 또 그들의 약한 양심에 상처를 주는 것이 곧 그리스도(마쉬악)께 죄를 짓는 것이니라.

13  Wherefore,¹³⁵⁵ if¹⁴⁸⁷ meat¹⁰³³ make my brother to offend,^{4624, 3450, 80} I will eat⁵³¹⁵ no³³⁶⁴ flesh²⁹⁰⁷ while the world standeth,^{1519, 3588, 165} lest³³⁶³ I make my brother to offend.^{4624, 3450, 80}

13  그러므로 만일 식물이G1033  내 형제로 실족케 하면(make my brother to offend,G4624, G3450, G80) 나는 영원히(while the world standeth,G1519,   G3588, G165)   고기를G2907 먹지 아니하여 내 형제를 실족치 않게 하리라

13  Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

13  따라서 음식이 내 형제를 실족시킨다면 나는 고기를 이 세상이 존재하는 한 먹지 아니하리니, 이는 내가 내 형제를 실족시키지 아니하려는 것이니라.
