1  Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

2  Now¹¹⁶¹ I praise¹⁸⁶⁷ you,⁵²⁰⁹ brethren,⁸⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ ye remember³⁴¹⁵ me³⁴⁵⁰ in all things,³⁹⁵⁶ and²⁵³² keep²⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ ordinances,³⁸⁶² as²⁵³¹ I delivered³⁸⁶⁰ them to you.⁵²¹³

2  너희가 모든 일에( in all things,G3956) 나를 기억하고(ye rememberG3415) 또 내가 너희에게 전하여 준(I deliveredG3860)대로 그 유전을G3762 너희가 지키므로G2722 너희를 칭찬하노라G1867

2  Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

2  형제들아, 이제 내가 너희를 칭찬하노니, 이는 너희가 모든 일에 나를 기억하고, 또 내가 너희에게 전달해 준 그 관례들을 지킴이라.

3  But¹¹⁶¹ I would²³⁰⁹ have you⁵²⁰⁹ know,¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ head²⁷⁷⁶ of every³⁹⁵⁶ man⁴³⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ Christ;⁵⁵⁴⁷ and¹¹⁶¹ the head²⁷⁷⁶ of the woman¹¹³⁵ is the³⁵⁸⁸ man;⁴³⁵ and¹¹⁶¹ the head²⁷⁷⁶ of Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ is God.²³¹⁶

3  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

4  Every³⁹⁵⁶ man⁴³⁵ praying⁴³³⁶ or²²²⁸ prophesying,⁴³⁹⁵ having²¹⁹² his head covered,^{2596, 2776} dishonoreth²⁶¹⁷ his⁸⁴⁸ head.²⁷⁷⁶

4  무릇(EveryG3956) 남자로서G435 머리에(his head covered,G2596, G2776 ) 무엇을 쓰고(havingG2192) 기도(prayingG4336)나(orG2228) 예언을 하는 자는(prophesying,G4395) 그 머리를 욕되게 하는 것이요G2617

4  Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoreth his head.

4  남자가 누구라도 머리에 무엇을 쓰고 기도하거나 예언하면, 그의 머리를 수치스럽게 하는 것이라.

5  But¹¹⁶¹ every³⁹⁵⁶ woman¹¹³⁵ that prayeth⁴³³⁶ or²²²⁸ prophesieth⁴³⁹⁵ with her head²⁷⁷⁶ uncovered¹⁷⁷ dishonoreth²⁶¹⁷ her¹⁴³⁸ head:²⁷⁷⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ that is²⁰⁷⁶ even all one^{1520, 2532, 848} as if she were shaven.³⁵⁸⁷

5  무릇(EveryG3956) 여자로서(womanG1135) 머리에(with her headG2776) 쓴 것을 벗고(uncoveredG177) 기도(that prayethG4336)나(orG2228) 예언을 하는 자는(prophesiethG4395) 그(herG1438) 머리를(head:G2776) 욕되게 하는 것이니(dishonorethG2617) 이는G1063  머리민G3587 것과 다름이 없음이니라(even all oneG1520, 2532, G848)

5  But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoreth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

5  반면에 여자가 누구라도 머리에 쓰지 않은 채 기도하거나 예언하면 그녀의 머리를 수치스럽게 하는 것이라. 이는 그 여자가 머리를 밀어버린 것과 마찬가지임이라.

6  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ woman¹¹³⁵ be not³⁷⁵⁶ covered,²⁶¹⁹ let her also²⁵³² be shorn:²⁷⁵¹ but¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ it be a shame¹⁴⁹ for a woman¹¹³⁵ to be shorn²⁷⁵¹ or²²²⁸ shaven,³⁵⁸⁷ let her be covered.²⁶¹⁹

6  만일G1487 여자가G1135 머리에 쓰지(covered,G2619) 않거든( be notG3756) 깎을 것이요(be shorn:G2751) 만일G1487 깎거G2751나G2228 미는 것이G3587 여자에게G1135 부끄러움이 되거든G149 쓸지니라( let her be covered.G2619)

6  For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

6  여자가 머리에 쓰지 아니하려거든 또한 깎으라. 그러나 깎거나 미는 것이 여자에게 수치가 된다면 머리에 쓸지니라.

7  For¹⁰⁶³ a man⁴³⁵ indeed³³⁰³ ought³⁷⁸⁴ not³⁷⁵⁶ to cover²⁶¹⁹ his head,²⁷⁷⁶ forasmuch as he is⁵²²⁵ the image¹⁵⁰⁴ and²⁵³² glory¹³⁹¹ of God:²³¹⁶ but¹¹⁶¹ the woman¹¹³⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ the glory¹³⁹¹ of the man.⁴³⁵

7  남자는 하나님의G2316 형상G1504과 영광G1391이니 그 머리에(his head,G2776) 마땅히G3784 쓰지2619 않거니와 여자는 남자의 영광이니라

7  For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

7  남자는 하나님(야훼)의 형상과 영광이므로 마땅히 머리에 쓰면 아니되지만, 여자는 남자의 영광이니라.

8  For¹⁰⁶³ the man⁴³⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ the woman;¹¹³⁵ but²³⁵ the woman¹¹³⁵ of¹⁵³⁷ the man.⁴³⁵

8  남자가(the manG435) 여자(the woman;G1135)에게서 난 것이( ofG1537) 아니요 여자가 남자에게서 났으며

8  For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

8   이는 남자가 여자에게서 난 것이 아니라 여자가 남자에게서 났기 때문이며

9  ⁽¹⁰⁶³⁾ Neither^{2532, 3756} was the man⁴³⁵ created²⁹³⁶ for¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ woman;¹¹³⁵ but²³⁵ the woman¹¹³⁵ for¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ man.⁴³⁵

9  또 남자가 여자를 위하여G1223 지음을 받지(createdG2936) 아니하고 여자가 남자를 위하여 지음을 받은 것이니

9  Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

9  남자가 여자를 위하여 창조된 것이 아니라 여자가 남자를 위하여 창조된 것이기 때문이라.

10  For this cause^{1223, 5124} ought³⁷⁸⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ woman¹¹³⁵ to have²¹⁹² power¹⁸⁴⁹ on¹⁹⁰⁹ her head²⁷⁷⁶ because¹²²³ of the³⁵⁸⁸ angels.³²

10  이러므로(For this causeG1223, G5124) 여자는G1135 천사들을G32 인하여G1223 권세 아래 있는 표를( powerG1849) 그 머리(her headG2776) 위에(onG1909) 둘지니라

10  For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

10  이런 까닭에 여자는 천사들로 인하여 머리 위에 권세를 두어야 하리라.

어떤 이들은 여기에 언급된 천사들을 엘로힘(하나님)의 아들들(האלהים בּני / 베네 하 엘로힘, “sons of Elohim”) 즉 악한 천사들이 사람들의 딸들을보고 색욕(色慾)이 일어나지 않도록 수건을 써야 한다고 주장하기도 합니다. 그러나 이는 에녹서(The Books of Enoch)와 같은 위경(僞經)을 인용하여 주장하는 것이며 히브리 정경에 들어있지 않는 말입니다. 그리고 물론 야슈아님(예수님)의 말씀과 서로 어긋납니다(마 22:30; 막 12:25 참조). 에녹서는 위경(僞經 = 거짓된 책 / 수더피그라파)이며 pseude(수더)라는 말은 거짓을 의미하고 pigrapha(피그라파)라는 말은 쓴 것을 뜻합니다. 여러 거짓 책들(수더피그라파)이 있는데 그 중에는 에녹서, 모세 승천기, 이사야 승천기, 요벨서, 헬라어 바룩 묵시록, 아스테아스의 편지, 마카베오 3·4서, 솔로몬의 시편, 에녹의 비밀서, 시빌신탁, 수리아어 바룩 묵시록, 바룩 서신, 12족장의 유언 등이 있습니다. 그리고 한글 개역성경에는 “권세 아래 있는 표를 그 머리 위에 둘지니라”라고 번역하였는데 표라는 말은 성경에 없는 말입니다.

11  Nevertheless⁴¹³³ neither³⁷⁷⁷ is the man⁴³⁵ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ the woman,¹¹³⁵ neither³⁷⁷⁷ the woman¹¹³⁵ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ the man,⁴³⁵ in¹⁷²² the Lord.²⁹⁶²

11  그러나 주G2962 안에는 남자 없이 여자만 있지 않고 여자 없이 남자만 있지 아니하니라

11  Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

11  그러나 주(야훼) 안에서는 여자 없이 남자만 있을 수 없고 남자 없이 여자만 있을 수도 없느니라.

12  For¹⁰⁶³ as⁵⁶¹⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ woman¹¹³⁵ is of¹⁵³⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ man,⁴³⁵ even so³⁷⁷⁹ is the³⁵⁸⁸ man⁴³⁵ also²⁵³² by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ woman;¹¹³⁵ but¹¹⁶¹ all things³⁹⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ God.²³¹⁶

12  여자가 남자에게서 난 것 같이 남자도 여자로 말미암아 났으나 모든 것이 하나님G2316 에게서 났느니라G1537

12  For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

12  이는 여자가 남자에게서 나는 것같이 남자도 여자를 통하여 나거니와 모든 것은 하나님(엘로힘)에게서 나느니라.

13  Judge²⁹¹⁹ in¹⁷²² yourselves:^{5213, 846} is²⁰⁷⁶ it comely⁴²⁴¹ that a woman¹¹³⁵ pray⁴³³⁶ unto God²³¹⁶ uncovered?¹⁷⁷

13  너희는 스스로 판단하라G2919 여자가 쓰지 않고G177  하나님께G2316 기도하는 것이 마땅하냐

13  Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

13  여자가 쓰지 아니하고 하나님(엘로힘)께 기도하는 것이 마땅한 일이냐? 너희 자신이 판단하라.

14  Doth⁽²²²⁸⁾ not even³⁷⁶¹ nature⁵⁴⁴⁹ itself⁸⁴⁶ teach¹³²¹ you,⁵²⁰⁹ that,³⁷⁵⁴ if¹⁴³⁷ a man⁴³⁵ have long hair,⁽²⁸⁶³⁾ it is²⁰⁷⁶ a shame⁸¹⁹ unto him?⁸⁴⁶

14  만일 남자가 긴 머리가 있으면 자기에게 욕되는 것을 본성이G5449 너희에게 가르치지G1321 아니하느냐

14  Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

14 또 남자가 긴 머리를 하고 있다면 그것이 자신에게 수치가 된다는 것을 본성 그 자체까지도 너희에게 가르치고 있지 아니하느냐?

15  But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴³⁷ a woman¹¹³⁵ have long hair,²⁸⁶³ it is²⁰⁷⁶ a glory¹³⁹¹ to her:⁸⁴⁶ for³⁷⁵⁴ her hair²⁸⁶⁴ is given¹³²⁵ her⁸⁴⁶ for⁴⁷³ a covering.⁴⁰¹⁸

15  만일( ifG1437) 여자가 (a womanG1135)긴 머리가 있으면( have long hair,G2863) 자기에게(to her:G846) 영광이(a gloryG1391) 되나니G2076 긴머리는(her hairG2864) 쓰는 것을(a covering.G4018) 대신하여(forG3754) 주신( is givenG1325) 연고니라(forG3754)

15  But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

15  그러나 여자가 긴 머리를 하고 있다면 그것은 그녀에게 영광이 되느니라. 이는 그녀의 머리가 그녀의 쓰는 것을 대신하기 때문이라.

16  But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ seem¹³⁸⁰ to be¹⁵¹¹ contentious,⁵³⁸⁰ we²²⁴⁹ have²¹⁹² no³⁷⁵⁶ such⁵¹⁰⁸ custom,⁴⁹¹⁴ neither³⁷⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ churches¹⁵⁷⁷ of God.²³¹⁶

16  변론하려는G5380 태도를 가진G1380 자가 있을지라도 우리에게나 하나님의G2316 모든 교회에는G1577 이런 규례가G4914 없느니라

16  But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

16  어떤 사람이 논쟁을 하려고 생각할지 모르나 그런 관습은 우리에게도 하나님(엘로힘)의 교회들에도 없느니라.

17  Now¹¹⁶¹ in this⁵¹²⁴ that I declare³⁸⁵³ unto you I praise¹⁸⁶⁷ you not,³⁷⁵⁶ that³⁷⁵⁴ ye come together⁴⁹⁰⁵ not³⁷⁵⁶ for¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ better,²⁹⁰⁹ but²³⁵ for¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ worse.²²⁷⁶

17  내가 명하는G3853 이 일에 너희를 칭찬하지G1867 아니하나니G3756 이는 저희의 모임이G4905 유익G2909이 못되고 도리어 해로움G2276이라

17  Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.

17  이제 내가 너희에게 명하고자 하는 이것에 관해서는 너희를 칭찬하지 아니하노니, 이는 너희가 함께 모이는 것이 유익하기보다는 해로움이라.

18  For¹⁰⁶³ first of all,⁴⁴¹² when⁽³³⁰³⁾ ye⁵²¹⁶ come together⁴⁹⁰⁵ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ church,¹⁵⁷⁷ I hear¹⁹¹ that there be⁵²²⁵ divisions⁴⁹⁷⁸ among¹⁷²² you;⁵²¹³ and²⁵³² I partly^{3313, 5100} believe⁴¹⁰⁰ it.

18  첫째는 너희가 교회G1577에 모일 때에G4905 너희 중에 분쟁이G4978 있다 함을 듣고 대강G3313 믿노니G4100

18  For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

18  먼저, 너희가 교회에 함께 모일 때 너희 가운데 분열이 있다고 들었는데 나도 그 일부는 믿노라.

19  For¹⁰⁶³ there must¹¹⁶³ be¹⁵¹¹ also²⁵³² heresies¹³⁹ among¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ that²⁴⁴³ they which are approved¹³⁸⁴ may be made¹⁰⁹⁶ manifest⁵³¹⁸ among¹⁷²² you.⁵²¹³

19  너희 중에 편당이G139 있어야 너희 중에 옳다 인정함을 받은 자들이G1384 나타나게G5318 되리라

19  For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

19  너희 가운데는 이단들도 있어야만 하리니, 그래야만이 너희 가운데 인정받는 사람들이 나타나게 되리라.

20  When ye⁵²¹⁶ come together⁴⁹⁰⁵ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ into¹⁹⁰⁹ one place,⁸⁴⁶ this is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ to eat⁵³¹⁵ the Lord's²⁹⁶⁰ supper.¹¹⁷³

20  그런즉 너희가 함께 모여서 주의G2960 만찬을G1173  먹을 수G5315 없으니

20  When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.

20   그러므로 너희가 한 곳에 함께 모이되 주(아도나이H136)의 만찬을 먹으려는 것이 아니니

21  For¹⁰⁶³ in¹⁷²² eating⁵³¹⁵ every one¹⁵³⁸ taketh before⁴³⁰¹ other his own²³⁹⁸ supper:¹¹⁷³ and²⁵³² one^{3739, 3303} is hungry,³⁹⁸³ and¹¹⁶¹ another³⁷³⁹ is drunken.³¹⁸⁴

21  이는 먹을 때에 각각 자기의 만찬을G1173  먼저 갖다 먹으므로G4301 어떤 이는 시장하고G3983 어떤 이는 취함이라G3184

21  For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

21  이는 먹을 때에 각자 다른 사람보다 먼저 자기의 만찬을 먹으므로 어떤 사람은 시장하고 어떤 사람은 술취함이라.

22  What?^{(1063, 3361)} have²¹⁹² ye not³⁷⁵⁶ houses³⁶¹⁴ to eat²⁰⁶⁸ and²⁵³² to drink⁴⁰⁹⁵ in? or²²²⁸ despise²⁷⁰⁶ ye the³⁵⁸⁸ church¹⁵⁷⁷ of God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² shame²⁶¹⁷ them that have²¹⁹² not?³³⁶¹ What⁵¹⁰¹ shall I say²⁰³⁶ to you?⁵²¹³ shall I praise¹⁸⁶⁷ you⁵²⁰⁹ in¹⁷²² this?⁵¹²⁹ I praise¹⁸⁶⁷ you not.³⁷⁵⁶

22  너희가 먹고 마실 집이G3614 없느냐 너희가 하나님의G2316 교회를 업신여기고G2706 빈궁한 자들을 부끄럽게 하느냐 2617내가 너희에게 무슨 말을 하랴 너희를 칭찬하랴 이것으로 칭찬하지 않노라

22  What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.

22   너희에게는 먹고 마실 집이 없느냐? 아니면 너희가 하나님(엘로힘)의 교회를 무시하고 가난한 사람들을 부끄럽게 하느냐? 내가 너희에게 무슨 말을 하랴? 이 일로 너희를 칭찬하랴? 나는 칭찬하지 않노라.

23  For¹⁰⁶³ I¹⁴⁷³ have received³⁸⁸⁰ of⁵⁷⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² that which³⁷³⁹ also²⁵³² I delivered³⁸⁶⁰ unto you,⁵²¹³ That³⁷⁵⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ same night³⁵⁷¹ in which³⁷³⁹ he was betrayed³⁸⁶⁰ took²⁹⁸³ bread:⁷⁴⁰

23  For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

23  내가 주(아도나이)께로부터 받은 것을 너희에게 전달해 주었나니, 이는 주(아도나이) 예수(야슈아)께서 넘겨지시던 그 밤에 빵을 가지고

24  And²⁵³² when he had given thanks,²¹⁶⁸ he broke²⁸⁰⁶ it, and²⁵³² said, Take,^{2036, 2983} eat:⁵³¹⁵ this⁵¹²⁴ is²⁰⁷⁶ my³⁴⁵⁰ body,⁴⁹⁸³ which is broken²⁸⁰⁶ for⁵²²⁸ you:⁵²¹⁶ this⁵¹²⁴ do⁴¹⁶⁰ in¹⁵¹⁹ remembrance³⁶⁴ of me.¹⁶⁹⁹

24  축사하시고(when he had given thanks,G2168) 떼어G2806 가라사대 이것은 너희를 위하는 내 몸G4983이니 이것을 행하여G4160 나를 기G364 하라 하시고

24  And when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

24   감사를 드린 후 떼어 말씀하시기를 "이것은 너희를 위하여 쪼개진 나의 몸이니 받아 먹으라. 이것을 행하여 나를 기억하라."고 하셨으며

25  After³³²⁶ the same manner⁵⁶¹⁵ also²⁵³² he took the³⁵⁸⁸ cup,⁴²²¹ when he had supped,¹¹⁷² saying,³⁰⁰⁴ This⁵¹²⁴ cup⁴²²¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ new²⁵³⁷ testament¹²⁴² in¹⁷²² my¹⁶⁹⁹ blood:¹²⁹ this⁵¹²⁴ do⁴¹⁶⁰ ye, as oft as³⁷⁴⁰ ye drink^{4095, 302} it, in¹⁵¹⁹ remembrance³⁶⁴ of me.¹⁶⁹⁹

25  식G1172후에 또한 이와 같이 잔을 가지시고(he took theG3588 cup,G4221) 가라사대 이 잔은G4221 내 피G129로 세운 새2537 언약G1242이니 이것을G5124 행하여G4160 마실(ye drinkG4095, G302) 때마다G3740 나를 기념G364하라 하셨으니

25  After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

25  식후에도 이와 같이 잔을 가지고 말씀하시기를 "이 잔은 나의 피로 된 새 언약이라. 이것을 행하여 너희가 마실 때마다 나를 기억하라."고 하셨느니라.

26  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come.

26  너희가 이 빵을 먹고 이 잔을 마실 때마다 주(아도나이)의 죽으심을 그 분이 오실 때까지 선포하라.

27  Wherefore⁵⁶²⁰ whosoever^{3739, 302} shall eat²⁰⁶⁸ this⁵¹²⁶ bread,⁷⁴⁰ and²²²⁸ drink⁴⁰⁹⁵ this cup⁴²²¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord,²⁹⁶² unworthily,³⁷¹ shall be²⁰⁷¹ guilty¹⁷⁷⁷ of the³⁵⁸⁸ body⁴⁹⁸³ and²⁵³² blood¹²⁹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord.²⁹⁶²

27  그러므로 누구든지 주의G2962 떡이나 잔을 합당치 않게G371 먹고 마시는 자는 주의G2962 몸과 피를 범하는 죄가G1777 있느니라

27  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

27   그러므로 누구든지 합당치 않게 이 빵을 먹고 주(아도나이)의 이 잔을 마시는 자는 주(아도나이)의 몸과 피에 대해 죄를 짓는 것이라.

28  But¹¹⁶¹ let a man⁴⁴⁴ examine¹³⁸¹ himself,¹⁴³⁸ and²⁵³² so³⁷⁷⁹ let him eat²⁰⁶⁸ of¹⁵³⁷ that bread,⁷⁴⁰ and²⁵³² drink⁴⁰⁹⁵ of¹⁵³⁷ that cup.⁴²²¹

28  사람이 자기를 살피고(examineG1381) 그 후에야 이 떡을 먹고 이 잔을 마실지니

28  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

28   사람이 자신을 살펴보고 나서 그 빵을 먹고 그 잔을 마셔야 하리니

29  For¹⁰⁶³ he that eateth²⁰⁶⁸ and²⁵³² drinketh⁴⁰⁹⁵ unworthily,³⁷¹ eateth²⁰⁶⁸ and²⁵³² drinketh⁴⁰⁹⁵ damnation²⁹¹⁷ to himself,¹⁴³⁸ not³³⁶¹ discerning¹²⁵² the³⁵⁸⁸ Lord's²⁹⁶² body.⁴⁹⁸³

29  주의G2962 몸을 분변치G1252 못하고 먹고 마시는 자는 자기의 죄를G2917 먹고 마시는 것이니라

29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

29   이는 주(아도나이)의 몸을 분별하지 못하고 합당치 않게 먹고 마시는 자는 자신의 저주를 먹고 마시는 것이기 때문이라.

30  For this cause^{1223, 5124} many⁴¹⁸³ are weak⁷⁷² and²⁵³² sickly⁷³² among¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ and²⁵³² many²⁴²⁵ sleep.²⁸³⁷

30  이러므로 너희 중에 약한 자G772와 병든자가G732 많고 잠자는G2837 자도 적지 아니하니

30  For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

30 이 때문에 너희 가운데 많은 사람이 약하고 병들었으며 상당수가 잠들었느니라.

31  For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ we would judge¹²⁵² ourselves,¹⁴³⁸ we should not³⁷⁵⁶ be judged.²⁹¹⁹

31  우리가 우리를 살폈G1252으면 판단을 받지G2919 아니하려니와

31  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

31  만일 우리가 우리 자신을 판단한다면 판단받지 않으리라.

32  But¹¹⁶¹ when we are judged,²⁹¹⁹ we are chastened³⁸¹¹ of⁵²⁵⁹ the Lord,²⁹⁶² that²⁴⁴³ we should not³³⁶¹ be condemned²⁶³² with⁴⁸⁶² the³⁵⁸⁸ world.²⁸⁸⁹

32  우리가 판단을 받는 것은G2919 주께G2962 징계를 받는 것이니G3811 이는 우리로 세상과G2889 함께 죄 정함을 받지G2632 않게 하려 하심이라

32  But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

32  그러나 우리가 판단을 받는 것은 주(야훼)께 징계를 받는 것이니, 이는 우리로 세상과 함께 정죄받지 않게 하려 함이로다.

33  Wherefore,⁵⁶²⁰ my³⁴⁵⁰ brethren,⁸⁰ when ye come together⁴⁹⁰⁵ to eat,⁵³¹⁵ tarry¹⁵⁵¹ one for another.²⁴⁰

33  그런즉 내 형제들아 먹으러 모일 때에 서로 기다리라G1551 

33  Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.

33 그러므로 나의 형제들아, 너희가 먹으려고 함께 모일 때면 서로 기다리라.

34  And¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ hunger,³⁹⁸³ let him eat²⁰⁶⁸ at¹⁷²² home;³⁶²⁴ that²⁴⁴³ ye come not together^{4905, 3361} unto¹⁵¹⁹ condemnation.²⁹¹⁷ And¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ rest³⁰⁶² will I set in order¹²⁹⁹ when^{5613, 302} I come.²⁰⁶⁴

34  만일 누구든지 시장하거든 집에서 먹을지니 이는 너희의 판단G2917 받는 모임이 되지 않게 하려함이라 그 남은 것은 내가 언제든지 갈 때에 귀정하리라G1299 

34  And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

34  누구든지 시장하거든 집에서 먹으라. 이는 너희가 함께 정죄받지 않게 하려는 것이라. 나머지 일들은 내가 가서 정리하리라.
