1  For¹⁰⁶³ this³⁷⁷⁸ Melchizedek,³¹⁹⁸ king⁹³⁵ of Salem,⁴⁵³² priest²⁴⁰⁹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ most high⁵³¹⁰ God,²³¹⁶ who met⁴⁸⁷⁶ Abraham¹¹ returning⁵²⁹⁰ from⁵⁷⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ slaughter²⁸⁷¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ kings,⁹³⁵ and²⁵³² blessed²¹²⁷ him;⁸⁴⁶

1  이 멜기세덱은G3198 살렘G4532 왕이요G935 지극히 높으신G5310 하나님의G2316 제사장이라G2409 여러 임금을 쳐서 죽이고 돌아오는 아브라함을 만나 복을 빈 자라

1  For this Melchizedek, king of Salem and priest of the Most High God, met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him.

1  이 멜키세덱은 살렘 왕이며 지극히 높으신 하나님(엘로힘)의 제사장으로 여러 왕들을 무찌르고 돌아오는 아브라함을 만나서 그를 축복해 주었던 이라.

2  To whom³⁷³⁹ also²⁵³² Abraham¹¹ gave³³⁰⁷ a tenth part¹¹⁸¹ of⁵⁷⁵ all;³⁹⁵⁶ first^{4412, 3303} being by interpretation²⁰⁵⁹ King⁹³⁵ of righteousness,¹³⁴³ and¹¹⁶¹ after that¹⁸⁹⁹ also²⁵³² King⁹³⁵ of Salem,⁴⁵³² which is,³⁶⁰³ King⁹³⁵ of peace;¹⁵¹⁵

2  아브라함이 일체 십분의 일을 그에게 나눠 주니라 그 이름을 번역한 즉G2059 첫째 의의(of righteousness,G1343) 왕이요G935 또 살렘G4532 왕이니G935 곧 평강의( of peace;G1515 ) 왕G935 이요

2  To him Abraham also gave a tenth of all. He was first by interpretation king of righteousness, and after that also king of Salem, which is king of peace,

2   아브라함도 전체의 십분의 일을 그에게 드렸으니, 그의 이름을 해석하면, 첫째로 의의 왕이요, 그 다음은 살렘 왕, 곧 화평의 왕이라.

3  Without father,⁵⁴⁰ without mother,²⁸² without descent,³⁵ having²¹⁹² neither³³⁸³ beginning⁷⁴⁶ of days,²²⁵⁰ nor³³⁸³ end⁵⁰⁵⁶ of life;²²²² but¹¹⁶¹ made like unto⁸⁷¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God;²³¹⁶ abideth³³⁰⁶ a priest²⁴⁰⁹ continually.^{1519, 1336}

3  아비도 없고G540 어미도 없고G282 족보도 없고G35 시작한G746 날G2250도 없고G3383 생명의G2222 끝G5056도 없어G3383 하나님G2316 아들G5207과 방불하여G871 항상(continually.G1519, G1336) 제사장으로G2409 있느니라G3306

3  without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, he remains a priest continually.

3  아버지도 없고 어머니도 없으며, 계보도 없고 시작한 날과 생의 끝도 없으니 하나님의 아들과 같이 되어 항상 제사장으로 있느니라.

4  Now¹¹⁶¹ consider²³³⁴ how great⁴⁰⁸⁰ this man³⁷⁷⁸ was, unto whom³⁷³⁹ even²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ patriarch³⁹⁶⁶ Abraham¹¹ gave¹³²⁵ the tenth¹¹⁸¹ of¹⁵³⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ spoils.²⁰⁵

4  이 사람의 어떻게 높은 것을G4080 생각하라G2334 조상 아브라함이 노략물 중 좋은 것으로 십분의 일을 저에게 주었느니라

4  Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

4   이분이 얼마나 위대한가를 생각하여 보라. 심지어는 족장 아브라함까지도 전리품의 십분의 일을 그에게 드렸느니라.

5  And²⁵³² verily³³⁰³ they³⁵⁸⁸ that are of¹⁵³⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ sons⁵²⁰⁷ of Levi,³⁰¹⁷ who receive²⁹⁸³ the³⁵⁸⁸ office of the priesthood,²⁴⁰⁵ have²¹⁹² a commandment¹⁷⁸⁵ to take tithes⁵⁸⁶ of the³⁵⁸⁸ people²⁹⁹² according²⁵⁹⁶ to the³⁵⁸⁸ law,³⁵⁵¹ that is,⁵¹²³ of their⁸⁴⁸ brethren,⁸⁰ though²⁵³⁹ they come¹⁸³¹ out of¹⁵³⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ loins³⁷⁵¹ of Abraham:¹¹

5  레위의G3017 아들들 가운데 제사장의 직분을 받는 자들이 율법을G3551 좇아 아브라함의G11 허리G3751에서 난 자라도 자기 형제인 백성에게서 십분의 일을 취하라는G586 명령을 가졌으나

5  And truly they who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priest, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the Law, that is, from their brothers, though they come out of the loins of Abraham.

5 레위의 아들들 가운데서 제사장 직분을 받은 자들은 자기들의 형제인 백성들이 아브라함의 허리에서 나왔을지라도 율법에 따라 그들에게서 십일조를 취하라는 명령을 받았으나

6  But¹¹⁶¹ he whose descent is not counted^{1075, 3361} from¹⁵³⁷ them⁸⁴⁶ received tithes¹¹⁸³ of Abraham,¹¹ and²⁵³² blessed²¹²⁷ him that had²¹⁹² the³⁵⁸⁸ promises.¹⁸⁶⁰

6  레위 족보에 들지 아니한(he whose descent is not countedG1075, G3361) 멜기세덱(그는)은 아브라함에게서 십분의 일을 취하고 그 얻은 자를 위하여 복을 빌었나니

6  But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.

6  그들의 계보에 들지 않은 그는 아브라함에게서 십일조를 취하고 그 약속들을 받은 그를 축복하였느니라.

7  And¹¹⁶¹ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ all³⁹⁵⁶ contradiction⁴⁸⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ less¹⁶⁴⁰ is blessed²¹²⁷ of⁵²⁵⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ better.²⁹⁰⁹

7  폐일언하고 낮은 자가 높은 자에게 복 빎을 받느니라

7  And without all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better.

7    다 아는 바대로 축복이란 낮은 자가 더 나은 자로부터 받는 것이라.

8  And²⁵³² here^{5602, 3303} men⁴⁴⁴ that die⁵⁹⁹ receive²⁹⁸³ tithes;¹¹⁸¹ but¹¹⁶¹ there¹⁵⁶³ he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed³¹⁴⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ he liveth.²¹⁹⁸

8  또 여기는 죽을 자들이 십분의 일을 받으나 저기는 산다고 증거를 얻은 자가 받았느니라

8  And here men who die receive tithes; but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives.

8   또 여기서는 죽을 사람들이 십일조를 받으나 거기서는 살아 계시다고 증거되신 분이 받는 것이로다.

9  And²⁵³² as I may so say,^{5613, 2031, 2036} Levi³⁰¹⁷ also,²⁵³² who receiveth²⁹⁸³ tithes,¹¹⁸¹ paid tithes¹¹⁸³ in¹²²³ Abraham.¹¹

9  또한 십분의 일을 받는 레위도 아브라함으로 말미암아 십분의 일을 바쳤다 할 수 있나니

9  And if I may say so, Levi, also, who receives tithes, paid tithes in Abraham.

9   말하자면 십일조를 받는 레위까지도 아브라함 안에서 십일조를 바친 것이라.

10  For¹⁰⁶³ he was²²⁵⁸ yet²⁰⁸⁹ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ loins³⁷⁵¹ of his father,³⁹⁶² when³⁷⁵³ Melchizedek³¹⁹⁸ met⁴⁸⁷⁶ him.⁸⁴⁶

10  이는 멜기세덱이G3198 아브라함을 만날 때에 레위는 아직 자기 조상의 허리에G3751 있었음이니라

10  For he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him.

10  이는 멜키세덱이 아브라함을 만났을 때에 레위는 아직 조상의 허리에 있었기 때문이라.

11  If^{1487 (3303)} therefore³⁷⁶⁷ perfection⁵⁰⁵⁰ were²²⁵⁸ by¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ Levitical³⁰²⁰ priesthood,²⁴²⁰ (for¹⁰⁶³ under¹⁹⁰⁹ it⁸⁴⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ people²⁹⁹² received the law,)³⁵⁴⁹ what⁵¹⁰¹ further²⁰⁸⁹ need⁵⁵³² was there that another²⁰⁸⁷ priest²⁴⁰⁹ should rise⁴⁵⁰ after²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ order⁵⁰¹⁰ of Melchizedek,³¹⁹⁸ and²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ be called³⁰⁰⁴ after²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ order⁵⁰¹⁰ of Aaron?²

11  레위 계통의G3020 제사 직분으로G2420 말미암아G1223 온전함을 얻을 수G5050 있었으면G1487, G3303(백성이 그 아래서 율법을 받았으니) 어찌하여 아론의 반차를 좇지않고 멜기세덱의 반차를 좇는 별다른 한 제사장을 세울 필요가 있느뇨

11  Therefore if perfection were by the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the Law), what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

11  그러므로 만일 레위 계열의 제사장 직분으로 온전해질 수 있었다면 (백성이 그 아래서 율법을 받았음이라.) 굳이 아론의 계열에 따라 부르심을 받지 않고 멜키세덱의 계열에 따라 다른 제사장이 일어날 필요가 있었겠느냐?

12  For¹⁰⁶³ the³⁵⁸⁸ priesthood²⁴²⁰ being changed,³³⁴⁶ there is made¹⁰⁹⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ necessity³¹⁸ a change³³³¹ also²⁵³² of the law.³⁵⁵¹

12  For the priesthood being changed, there is of necessity a change made in the law also.

12   제사장 직분이 바뀌었다면 율법도 반드시 바뀌어야 하리니

13  For¹⁰⁶³ he of¹⁹⁰⁹ whom³⁷³⁹ these things⁵⁰²³ are spoken³⁰⁰⁴ pertaineth³³⁴⁸ to another²⁰⁸⁷ tribe,⁵⁴⁴³ of⁵⁷⁵ which³⁷³⁹ no man³⁷⁶² gave attendance⁴³³⁷ at the³⁵⁸⁸ altar.²³⁷⁹

13  이것은G5023 한 사람도(no manG3762) 제단 일을(at theG3588 altar.G2379 ) 받들지( gave attendanceG4337) 않는(no manG3762) 다른(anotherG2087) 지파에( tribe,G5443) 속한(pertainethG3348) 자를(whomG3739) 가리켜G1909 말한 것이라G3004

13  For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man gave attendance at the altar.

13    이는 이런 것들이 그분에 관해 말해진 것으로, 그분은 아무도 제단에서 섬긴 적이 없는 다른 지파에 속하기 때문이라.

이것은:  민_16:40, 민_17:5; 대하_26:16-21

14  For¹⁰⁶³ it is evident⁴²⁷¹ that³⁷⁵⁴ our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² sprang³⁹³ out of¹⁵³⁷ Judah;²⁴⁵⁵ of¹⁵¹⁹ which³⁷³⁹ tribe⁵⁴⁴³ Moses³⁴⁷⁵ spake²⁹⁸⁰ nothing³⁷⁶² concerning⁴⁰¹² priesthood.²⁴²⁰

14  우리 주께서G2962 유다로G2455 좇아G1537 나신G393것이 분명하도다 이 지파에는 모세가 제사장들에 관하여 말한 것이 하나도 없고

14  For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

14  우리 주(아도나이H136)께서 유다 지파에서 나신 것이 분명하니 이 지파에 대해서는 모세가 제사장 직분에 관하여 말한 것이 없기 때문이라.

15  And²⁵³² it is²⁰⁷⁶ yet²⁰⁸⁹ far more⁴⁰⁵⁴ evident:²⁶¹² for that¹⁴⁸⁷ after²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ similitude³⁶⁶⁵ of Melchizedek³¹⁹⁸ there ariseth⁴⁵⁰ another²⁰⁸⁷ priest,²⁴⁰⁹

15  멜기세덱과 같G3665은G2596 별다른G2087 한 제사장이G2409 일어난 것을G450 보니G1487  더욱G4054 분명G2612하도다

15  And it is still far more evident, since there arises another priest after the likeness of Melchizedek,

15  멜키세덱과 같은 다른 제사장이 거기에서 일어난 것을 보니 더욱더 분명하도다.

16  Who³⁷³⁹ is made,¹⁰⁹⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ after²⁵⁹⁶ the law³⁵⁵¹ of a carnal⁴⁵⁵⁹ commandment,¹⁷⁸⁵ but²³⁵ after²⁵⁹⁶ the power¹⁴¹¹ of an endless¹⁷⁹ life.²²²²

16  그는 육체에 상관된(of a carnalG4559) 계명의G1785 법을 좇지 아니하고 오직 무궁한 생명의 능력을G1411 좇아 된 것이니

16  who is made, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life.

16   그는 육신적 계명의 율법에 따라 된 것이 아니라 끝없는 생명의 능력에 따라 된 것이니

17  For¹⁰⁶³ he testifieth,³¹⁴⁰ Thou⁴⁷⁷¹ art a priest²⁴⁰⁹ forever^{1519, 165} after²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ order⁵⁰¹⁰ of Melchizedek.³¹⁹⁸

17  증거하기를G3140 네가 영원히 멜기세덱의G3198 반차를G5010 좇는G2596 제사장이라G2409 하였도다

17  For He testifies, "You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek."

17  이는 그가 증거하시기를 "너는 멜키세덱의 계열에 따른 영원한 제사장이라."고 하셨음이라.

18  For¹⁰⁶³ there is¹⁰⁹⁶ verily³³⁰³ a disannulling¹¹⁵ of the commandment¹⁷⁸⁵ going before⁴²⁵⁴ for¹²²³ the³⁵⁸⁸ weakness⁷⁷² and²⁵³² unprofitableness⁵¹² thereof.⁸⁴⁶

18  For truly there is a putting away of the commandment which went before, because of the weakness and unprofitableness of it.

18    이는 앞서 있는 계명이 참으로 연약하고 무익하므로 폐하여졌음이라.

19  For¹⁰⁶³ the³⁵⁸⁸ law³⁵⁵¹ made nothing perfect,^{5048, 3762} but¹¹⁶¹ the bringing in¹⁸⁹⁸ of a better²⁹⁰⁹ hope¹⁶⁸⁰ did; by¹²²³ the which³⁷³⁹ we draw nigh¹⁴⁴⁸ unto God.²³¹⁶

19  (율법은G3551 아무 것도 온전케 못할지라G5048, G3762)이에 더 좋은G2909 소망이G1680 생기니 이것으로 우리가 하나님께G2316 가까이 가느니라

19  For the Law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did, by which we draw near to God.

19 율법은 아무것도 온전케 못하였으나 더 좋은 소망의 도래는 온전케 하였으니 이를 통하여 우리가 하나님(엘로힘)께 가까이 다가감이라.

20  And²⁵³² inasmuch as^{2596, 3745} not³⁷⁵⁶ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ an oath³⁷²⁸ he was made priest:

20  또 예수께서 제사장 된 것은(he was made priest) 맹세G3728 없이 된 것이 아니니

20  And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath

20   그가 제사장이 되신 것은 맹세 없이 되신 것이 아니니

21  (For¹⁰⁶³ those priests^{2409 (3303)} were¹⁵²⁶ made¹⁰⁹⁶ without⁵⁵⁶⁵ an oath;³⁷²⁸ but¹¹⁶¹ this³⁵⁸⁸ with³³²⁶ an oath³⁷²⁸ by¹²²³ him that said³⁰⁰⁴ unto⁴³¹⁴ him,⁸⁴⁶ The Lord²⁹⁶² swore³⁶⁶⁰ and²⁵³² will not³⁷⁵⁶ repent,³³³⁸ Thou⁴⁷⁷¹ art a priest²⁴⁰⁹ forever^{1519, 165} after²⁵⁹⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ order⁵⁰¹⁰ of Melchizedek:)³¹⁹⁸

21  (저희는 맹세 없이 제사장이 되었으되 오직 예수는 자기에게 말씀하신 자로 말미암아 맹세로 되신 것이라 주께서G2962 맹세하시고G3660 뉘우치지 아니하시리니 네가 영원히 제사장이라 하셨도다)

21  (for those priests were made without an oath, but this one was made with an oath by Him who said to Him, "The Lord swore and will not repent, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek,")

21   (그들은 맹세 없이 제사장들이 되었으나 이분은 자기에게 말씀하신 그 분에 의하여 맹세로 된 것이니 "주(야훼)께서 맹세하셨으니 후회하지 아니하시리라. '너는 멜키세덱의 계열에 따른 영원한 제사장이라.'" 하셨도다.)

22  By²⁵⁹⁶ so much⁵¹¹⁸ was Jesus²⁴²⁴ made¹⁰⁹⁶ a surety¹⁴⁵⁰ of a better²⁹⁰⁹ testament.¹²⁴²

22  이와 같이 예수는G2424 더 좋은G2909 언약의G1242 보증이G1450 되셨느니라

22  by so much was Jesus made a surety of a better covenant.

22    예수(야슈아)는 이처럼 더 좋은 언약의 보증이 되셨느니라.

23  And²⁵³² they³⁵⁸⁸ truly³³⁰³ were¹⁵²⁶ many⁴¹¹⁹ priests,²⁴⁰⁹ because they were not suffered²⁹⁶⁷ to continue³⁸⁸⁷ by reason of death:²²⁸⁸

23  저희 제사장 된 자의 수효가 많은 것은 죽음을 인하여 항상 있지 못함이로되

23  And they truly were many priests, because they were not allowed to continue because of death;

23    그들이 실로 많은 제사장이 된 것은 죽음으로 인하여 직무를 계속할 수 없었기 때문이나

24  But¹¹⁶¹ this³⁵⁸⁸ man, because he⁸⁴⁶ continueth³³⁰⁶ ever,^{1519, 165} hath²¹⁹² an unchangeable⁵³¹ priesthood.²⁴²⁰

24  예수는 영원히 계시므로 그 제사 직분도 갈리지 아니하나니

24  but He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.

24   이분은 영원히 계시기 때문에 불변의 제사장 직분을 가지셨도다.

25  Wherefore³⁶⁰⁶ he is able¹⁴¹⁰ also²⁵³² to save⁴⁹⁸² them to¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ uttermost³⁸³⁸ that come⁴³³⁴ unto God²³¹⁶ by¹²²³ him,⁸⁴⁶ seeing he ever³⁸⁴² liveth²¹⁹⁸ to make intercession¹⁷⁹³ for⁵²²⁸ them.⁸⁴⁶

25  그러므로 자기를 힘입어 하나님께G2316 나아가는 자들을 온전히 구원하실 수 있으니 이는 그가 항상G3842 살아서G2198 저희를 위하여 간구하심이니라

25  Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for them.

25   이러므로 그는 또한 자기를 통하여 하나님(엘로힘)께 나아오는 자들을 끝까지 구원하실 수 있으니, 이는 그가 항상 살아 계셔 그들을 위하여 중보하심이라.

26  For¹⁰⁶³ such⁵¹⁰⁸ a high priest⁷⁴⁹ became⁴²⁴¹ us,²²⁵⁴ who is holy,³⁷⁴¹ harmless,¹⁷² undefiled,²⁸³ separate⁵⁵⁶³ from⁵⁷⁵ sinners,²⁶⁸ and²⁵³² made¹⁰⁹⁶ higher⁵³⁰⁸ than the³⁵⁸⁸ heavens;³⁷⁷²

26  이러한 대제사장은 우리에게 합당하니 거룩하고 악이 없고 더러움이 없고 죄인에게서 떠나 계시고 하늘보다 높이 되신 자라

26  For such a high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners and made higher than the heavens,

26    그러한 대제사장은 우리에게 적합하니, 거룩하고 악이 없으며, 더러움이 없고 죄인들에게서 성별되시며, 하늘들보다 더 높이 되심이라.

27  Who³⁷³⁹ needeth^{2192, 318} not³⁷⁵⁶ daily,^{2596, 2250} as⁵⁶¹⁸ those high priests,⁷⁴⁹ to offer up³⁹⁹ sacrifice,²³⁷⁸ first⁴³⁸⁶ for⁵²²⁸ his own²³⁹⁸ sins,²⁶⁶ and then¹⁸⁹⁹ for⁽³⁵⁸⁸⁾ the³⁵⁸⁸ people's:²⁹⁹² for¹⁰⁶³ this⁵¹²⁴ he did⁴¹⁶⁰ once,²¹⁷⁸ when he offered up³⁹⁹ himself.¹⁴³⁸

27  저가 저 대제사장들이 먼저 자기 죄를 위하고 다음에 백성의 죄를 위하여 날마다 제사 드리는 것과 같이 할 필요가 없으니 이는 저가 단번에G2178 자기를G1438  드려G399 이루셨음이니라

27  who does not need, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice daily, first for his own sins and then for the people's sins. For He did this once for all, when He offered up Himself.

27  그는 대제사장들처럼 먼저 자신의 죄들을 위하고 그 다음에는 백성들의 죄들을 위하여 제사드리는 일을 매일 할 필요가 없으시니, 이는 그가 자신을 제물로 드림으로 단번에 이루셨음이라.

28  For¹⁰⁶³ the³⁵⁸⁸ law³⁵⁵¹ maketh²⁵²⁵ men⁴⁴⁴ high priests⁷⁴⁹ which have²¹⁹² infirmity;⁷⁶⁹ but¹¹⁶¹ the³⁵⁸⁸ word³⁰⁵⁶ of the³⁵⁸⁸ oath,³⁷²⁸ which³⁵⁸⁸ was since³³²⁶ the³⁵⁸⁸ law,³⁵⁵¹ maketh the Son,⁵²⁰⁷ who is consecrated⁵⁰⁴⁸ forevermore.^{1519, 165}

28  율법은G3551 약점을G769 가진G2192 사람들을G444 제사장으로G749 세웠거니와G2525 율법G3551 후에G3326 하신 맹세의G3728 말씀은G3056 영원히G1519, G165  온전케 되신G5048 아들을G5207 세우셨느니라

28  For the Law appoints men high priests who have infirmity, but the word of the swearing of an oath, after the Law, has consecrated the Son forever, having been perfected.

28   율법은 연약한 사람들을 대제사장들로 세웠으나 율법 이후에 하신 맹세의 말씀은 아들을 세웠으니, 이 분은 영원 무궁히 드려지셨느니라.
